A raven was perched in the tree above the white and blue cat, and Rainthorn frowned. Was it looking at him? Either way, it was too big for him to take on, so he went to keep walking. "Pay!" Rainthorn froze. Someone had yelled, but who? He turned back to the raven, which was still looking at him intently. The tom cat could feel the fur on his back start to rise. "You must pay!" The raven could talk? What? Ravens weren't supposed to talk. Rainthorn found that he couldn't look away. "Pay for what you did! A life for a life!" Rainthorn was terrified. What kind of dark omen was this? He broke away from the raven's gaze and started to run. He could hear it's voice echoing in the forest behind him. "Pay! It will rumble like thunder, it will shake the ground. Pay! An unstoppable force, destruction and chaos. Pay!"[/size][/center]

For now, have some important features c: [size=2]GraniteClan are situated in the base of a mountain, living out of a small cave system inside the rock. The main entrance is a small hole in the mountain, obscured by undergrowth to keep out any predators or outsiders. It leads into a large cave, roughly the size of a small twoleg library. Individual dens have been made in outcroppings in the cave walls. The leader's den is the highest den, and is accessed but climbing up some stepping stones. Clan culture says that once the leader can no longer climb to his den, he must retire. The deputy sleeps with the warriors in their communal den, which is a small cave inside the western wall. The apprentices' den is the smaller cave a few foxlengths away on the same wall. The medicine cat den is at the base of the cave. The nursery is also at the base, opposite the medicine cat den. Elders have dens dotted around the cave. Hunting takes place in the forest surrounding the mountain. Primary prey is small birds and small mammals. Mountain lions, wolves, and foxes are the clan's biggest threats, but they aren't often seen. There are also snakes. In the deepest part of the forest, untouched by almost anything but the clan, is the Great Cave. All of GraniteClan's history is recorded here. Their are carvings in the soft rock of the walls, and paintings make from prey blood and berry juice. He's always willing to put forth effort to get things done, so gets upset when he sees other cats slacking off. He enjoys conversation more than anything else, and often has to be physically shut up by putting a paw up to his mouth. He is a good friend though, and always pushes those he is close to to succeed. [b]History:[/b] Born to two warriors of RiverClan, he grew up in an extensive family. Of the litter, he was the middle child and it showed. He wasn't as small and weak as his younger sister, and he wasn't as big and bulky as his oldest brother, Floodstone. For these reasons, he was often overlooked. He learned quickly that he had to put in all of his effort in order to be acknowledged, but often it wasn't enough. She has a big heart and hates doing nothing, always wanting to help in some way. She is optimistic about even some of the worst things, although sometimes she is weighed down by trying to look up.
