You stand up, pushing yourself forwards with your back claws. Well, at least they still work. You open your eyes wide and gasp. A dome covers the overhead ceiling with delicate gold decor and glittering chandeliers. You could make out tiny familiars up there, whizzing about. There dragons buzzing about, yet there was a strange quiet in the air. You saw all twelve breeds of Sornieth in the room, and antique desks that lined the expanded hallway. “Can you please do your job? The poor dragon is looking fairly confused right now.” The Fae huffed. You turn towards the Spiral, whose large pink eyes looked seemingly kind. He clears his throat. “Welcome to the Lair of the Forgotten Exalted. Here, we take care of the ones who, er, seem to have forgotten their birth flight! How ridiculous is that?” He let out a small laugh before patting you on the shoulder. “But it's totally alright. You’re in good hands.” You resist the urge to roll your eyes. “Go ahead and pick up one of those letter in that shelf over there. It’ll tell you everything you need to do! Have funnnnn!” [i]Forgot my flight, huh? I wonder why they can’t tell from my eye colour.[/i] But you realize your mistake as you stare at the shined floor. Your eyes were a dull gray. You’d be surprised how many dragons do that, actually. Our final goal is to try to help you remember which flight you belong to. Until then, try to make the best out of your time here. We work much like a regular Exalted Lair. Perhaps you have heard from your family and friends about what that’s like. You will be learning much, working hard, and having fun! Hello and welcome to this roleplay forum. I would first like to say that I follow all the basic RPG roles. [b]MAIN IDEA[/b]: This is mostly fantasy, with a touch of adventure. It’s kind of like a school, where you get to make friends, bond with other characters, and have a fun adventure. Over time, you should start getting flashbacks about your flight, and that is completely your choice. On that note, we should talk about eye colour. For this roleplay, you can ignore your dragon(s)’s eye colour. However, throughout the roleplay, your dragon’s flight colour may show in their eyes for a second before fading away. This happens when they recall memories, which can be shown using [i]italics[/i]. [center]IT IS CURRENTLY [b]MONDAY[/b], morning (P1, P2, P3)[/center] ----- [center][size=7][font=broadway][u]CLASS INFO[/u][/font][/size] A/N: Ah, finally, the [s]long-delayed[/s] class schedule (and stuff). Hopefully I get everything clear in this short information post. Enjoy! OwO[/center] ----- [center][font=broadway][size=6][color=#2a1a72]How this Works[/color][/size][/font] [b]YOU MUST READ THIS. PLEASE DO NOT SKIP THIS.[/b] Each dragon has three years of learning, and each year has four seasons (duh). The dragons are sorted within groups and years (e.g. Lorien would Soleil Year 1, and Ginger would be Ombre Year 2). Each season, the Lair becomes open to new pupils (and depending on how fast we want that to happen, it will happen). After your third year (and still have not remembered their flight), you have a choice to either to become a Magister, or drop into a Coma. Comas are very risky. It either enhances your memory restoration or it completely kills you. The magic behind these Comas are ancient and no dragon alive has any idea how to properly stabilize the results. Currently less than ten dragons have been through Comas and four of them passed away. One dragon remains in the Coma and that is a Coatl named Esther, and she has not shown any signs of waking up. The Magisters can only pray. Enough about Comas. As the Exaltation Master said in her letter, mornings are for class and afternoons are for training. The Years alternate for training with their group Magister. When you are not training in the afternoon, you can chill out with Poppy and Fret either in the library or elsewhere. You have classes every weekday and Saturday. Sundays are feast days where the whole Lair eats together and participates in contests for most of the day. Also, you have two schedules that alternate every other day. After, dragons are brought outdoors (weather permitted) and the four groups compete with each other in several different games and contests. Dragons are free to roam around with their friends, entering in whichever game/contest they please. The games/contests consist of the following: [list][*]SPEED FLYING: A good old-fashioned dash around the school. It’s usually looked over by Fret, as the fastest flying Magister. [*]MAGIC-BALL: Usually recommended for high-level aura users, dragons gather up a ball of magic in their jaws and shoot at the opposing team’s wall. They can use their aura to sense weak spots and each hole counts as a point. The game goes until forfeit or the wall breaks down. Overlooked by Poppy and commonly played as two v.s. two. [*]IMPOSSIBLE MAZE: Try to find your way through a maze made by Violet and Storm with clever tricks and twists. Wings are clipped at the entrance. [*]AIR SEARCHERS: A game loved by hatchlings across Sornieth. The game master (Mistal, here) tosses an object into the air that is usually very tiny. They enchant it to stay afloat and you compete against several others to try and find it first. Occasionally you get to keep what you find. [*]KICKBALL: Basically soccer, except you can use your wings to boost your speed and strength. No aura allowed. [*]THE TALENT SHOW: Organized by the star pupils, you get to go on a stage and do what you do best! Dance, sing, play an instrument, demonstrate some cool familiar tricks, ahow off your aura skills, and more.
