With Zahi occupied, she had to- again- do all the work by herself. The shadows under her mask became dimly illuminated with a magenta glow, and she began to only use one clawed hand at a time to rotate the wheel. Her free hand, whichever one it was, glowed with a similar magic light, and she vaguely swung it toward the pulleys and ropes that controlled the sails- Arcane manipulation making the mechanisms move without needing contact. It was slow work, and she seemed intensely focused as she managed to raise the sails and slow their cruise to an idle drift, then a stop, as she finished the task and released the anchor. The ship jolted slightly, and gently bounced against the platform they were parked beside. After a few moments of pause, she finally turned back to see the results of Zahi's attack. She looked confused, for a flickering moment; the ice crusting the young Mirror skewed their heat signatures, making the pair look strange. It was only a moment, however. Quickly, the rest of her senses caught up, and she let out a quiet and low growl. Her tail thumped once on the deck, and then she prowled over to loom above the both of them, looking irritated.

Yang watched the captain maneuver the ship and took note of the harbor they were in. It all seemed rather interesting, but she wished that she would’ve seen it under better circumstances. Looks like this was where she would reside for the time being. The fight would be the perfect distraction for her to escape, but that also might cause more problems should she be caught.

The mirror had pressed his weight onto her and the burden was almost crushing.
The ice that had formed was a lifesaver, serving as a wall between her attacker and his frozen chest and limbs.

Tight pressure made Nacre's stream of magic weaken, but the attack didn't let up. She couldn't afford to look weak on a pirate ship of all places!

The stream of magic moved to encase her entire body in a protective sphere of ice.
She glared at the mirror and panted as she got a few precious moments of rest.

Basil stayed cowering behind the barrel. He saw the female approach the fighting dragons.
"Pirate miss, the pirate mister and Nacre are fighting!" Basil told Cirina, even though she probably already knew. She was an adult. Adults can fix anything. She can make them stop.

His front limbs and his torso had been encased in ice and it made him physically unable to push off of the small Pearlcatcher without some scrambling of his legs. His claws had still been pinning her back and neck, but as more ice is added to the equation, Zahi's claws begin to tremble and grow weak, his grip becoming almost non-existent, but still very much within her sphere since he'd been physically holding her. The numbing sensation from the cold was making it difficult for him to keep any sort of grip, his body shivering and his tongue slipping back into his mouth so his pointed teeth could chatter without biting right through the fleshy appendage. @Hisscale

As the mirror's grip weakened, Nacre pulled away to the side of her sphere. She whipped around, snapping at the mirror's paw so he would finally let go.

She'd like to think she won, but as she saw the other dragon's in the corner of her eye, she grew nervous. Maybe she would have to fight the captain and the idea made her even paler.

The young Mirror couldn't physically do much, half encased in ice and his claws trapped in the ice the Pearlcatcher used as sanctuary. His clawed gloves move around weakly, offering little threat but the smallest of graze if she tried to touch them. She bit his paw! Zahi was already hissing from the sting of the cold, now he hissed at the insolence of the small Pearlcatcher. The claw that'd been bitten finding a brief bout of extra energy, flailing to try and get her again, but that soon faded when she retreated back. His frustration soon turned to whines as his head tilts back to Cirina, his obscured eyes pleading for her assistance. He didn't seem comfortable being half frost bitten. Funny enough, the young Mirror actually did have a counter to this, though he never thought he'd be visiting somewhere cold enough for it and couldn't currently reach it anyway. He wear an ice pick connected to a black cord and wrapped around one of his wings that he usually used for... other things.

Her expression was cold as the ice Zahi was trapped in, as she glared at them and muttered, "Stupid. Look what you've caused, now." She frowned, then spared a glance at Basil. "I see it, little bat. Just keep out of the way and you'll be fine." With a sigh, then, she reached out toward Zahi's wings, going to unwrap the dark ropes and free the ice pick, which she would then hold aloft over his frozen claws. "Don't move." --- Meanwhile, two dragons approached the ship from the dock they stopped beside. The smallest one lead them, bouncing and hopping along: another Mirror, similar in size to Zahi. She was smaller, but with massive wings, unusually flight-capable for her breed. She was clearly quite young, and eagerly waited beside the ship with a Wildclaw who seemed simply to be... babysitting her. Nacre couldn't see well through the ice, but she spotted new dragons near the boat.

Was land near then?! The idea excited her, maybe she could make an escape.

...and the she remembered her pearl.

Crud, where was it? It was still on the ship, she felt it nearby...but she didn't want to break out of the ice just yet.

@eruvyreth

Yang could see the new dragons approaching and paised from fear alone. If these new dragons were aligned with the ones that had kidnapped her, things would get much more difficult for her to escape. For now, she would simply watch them, though she did forget to hide
