He had wanted help, but he hadn't expected her to swipe the tool from his wing. He's relatively still, as still as he can be while shivering from the cold while Cirina retrieves the pick. Then she says 'Don't move', and he does his best to freeze and shuts his obscured eyes under his skull mask, his whole body tensing at the idea of the older Mirror swinging the pointed tool in his vicinity.

Zahi would have given up by now if he were simply stuck, but the fact of the matter was that he was half coated in ice and it did nothing but leave behind a numbing sting that was all around discomforting. He shifts and hisses at the sting while he awaits Cirina's assistance.

One was encased in the ice, the other thankfully obeyed- the best he could, at least. Cirina smirked, and the pick came swinging down at the frozen ball, all her strength behind it. It would take her two more tries before any progress could be made, as long as the Pearlcatcher within did not panic further and try to reinforce the casing. The pick was certainly aimed toward the ice on Zahi's forelegs, intended only to separate the two young dragons... But that could be hard to recognize with an obviously dangerous dragon doing the swinging. To boot, her aim was poor, and Zahi's arms and hands were in complete danger of being impaled if the ice was not as thick as Cirina expected.

She eventually called out, with a bubbly voice, to all of the occupants of the ship. "Hey! Aren't you coming? I told everyone we're here! C'mon, c'm- What's that sound?" She seemed intrigued by the clinking of metal on ice, and immediately abandoned the bemused Wildclaw. She spread her massive wings, and sprung up, flapping madly until she caught enough air to swoop back and forth, above and around the ship, finally lighting back on the crow's nest that she took off from before they parked. She leaned heavily over the edge of it, peering down at the collection of captives with her tongue lolling out.

Yang fell over the side of the boat and barely stopped herself as she landed rather ungracefully in front of the wildclaw. A nervous smile then spread across her beak, though she didn’t make an attempt to move. “H-Hello.”

The flowery Wildclaw stepped back as Yang tumbled right down in front of him. He stared at her, taking in her appearance, and noting the bound wings. No smile was offered in return, only a curious tilt of his head as he leaned forward to peer at her with one eye. He clicked his long sickle-claws on the damp wood surface, then whispered lowly to her.
"I assume... You are cargo. Hm... Would not like you off the ship like that."
Then, he did give a tiny smirk. "You seem nervous."

Yang felt a chill roll down her spine as she moved back slightly, fearing what his words meant. Was she going to be sold to the highest bidder like some trinket? “I... I was taken f-from my home. I suppose it would make sense for me to be nervous.” She didn’t look him in the eye, not wanting to anger him.

The ice was giving way and Nacre panicked, not at all pleased the ice pick had the growing potential to hit her.
She decided to speed up the process, while ensuring a get away.
Her wings spread as far they could in the space and charged the remaining spurts of her magic.
With a great flap the ice exploded into sharp shards.
Nacre speed away from the looming mirrors, eyes set on reclaiming her pearl...then...escape?

For a time, Petunia only watched as the chaos unfolded before her. The fae's head fins well raised in attention, her head turned and twitched between the different movements. So much had occurred for her to witness, but now they were at the island. She would have to redeem the slip up quickly and ensure things did not get worse if she was going to avoid further punishment. The Skydancer of their group had already tumbled away, but she at least seemed more cautious than this ridiculous child of a pearl catcher.
As if activated by her bitter thoughts, ice shards had begun to fly out from the struggle. It only took a few steps closer to the docks, that was all the fae needed to reach the source. Her claws still held the oversized map with care, but her eyes went to focus on the pearl that had come to settle to a stop. A soft pink sort of glow surrounded the object, before it flew up and over to hover near Petunia as she turned her head to the Pearlcatcher.
"That is enough."
Though her voice lacked tone, she stood as tall as a fae could with her head fins and what was left of her wings spreading out. It was all Petunia could do to try to look menacing to the pearl. There were many things she wished to say, but she kept such cruel words to herself. In a way, the arcane dragon knew she only had herself to blame.

The captain screeched with surprise and pain, ducking her head behind one arm as the frozen shards hit her and stuck into her clothes. A few grazed her neck and wings, but many ended up bouncing off her mask, then melting sadly onto the deck where they fell.
The ice pick was forgotten, as was Zahi himself, whatever state he might have been in. Cirina dropped to all fours, and allowed the hatchling Pearlcatcher to gain some distance. She swung her head about, hissing softly, and finally her four eyes settled on Petunia. There was a pause, then Cirina began to snicker. It quickly turned into outright cackling, her jaw hanging open and pale blue tongue curling out as her humorless laugh carried across the deck. Her Fae had the pearl.

"Not surprising. Hm... Meek. Be eaten alive here." He shuffled his wings, then turned away from her and began to walk away. His cape dragged behind him, soaked in seawater and sand and tattered from running along the ground. His temporary job was done, and he evidently had no further interest in the Skydancer's plight.

Yang’s eyes widened when the wildclaw began to leave and knew that returning to the boat would be resigning herself to her fate as a captive. Still, it was better than the relative unknown of the town, so she stayed where she was. If nothing of interest happened, she might explore a bit around the area.

Nacre was running towards her pearl, but slowed to a halt when she noticed her pearl was in the telekinetic grasp.
She frowned.
"Hey." She struggled not to sound breathless, "Give me that."
Nacre then bowed her head, ears perked for any signs of attack.
"Unless you want a fight too."
She had little magic left, but her horn was plenty sharp.
She frowned.
