Obsidian nodded “yea, it’s easy to pick out the rich ones at those schools. But you ain’t going to your home turf, your going to downtown king high school, anons run like the Black Plague in their”

Obsidian ripped a pad of paper out and handed it to Franky “ok here’s the plan, we’ll be waiting at the school for you to get their, we’ll meet up, find the kid, and try to prevent the beast. Got it?”

Franky looked at them wide eyed, king high school!? That place didn’t even breathe towards people like him, how the hell would they get him in there. You know what he’ll just go along with it why not.

“Yeah sure, and what do you mean beast?” Before waving his hand for they could speak dismissing it before they answered “you know whatever, got it meet up at richville” he said before he turned away, well if they got caught wouldn’t be the first trip to the jail house for him. Nothing to lose.

Obsidian waved goodbye to the boy, slipping him the note as he passed.

Seraph took off his backpack, revealing three sets of bold red wings “do you think this will work?”

Obsidian nodded “have I ever failed you?”

“Yes, twenty five times”

“Ok, that was just because I had too much to drink”

Franky glances over his shoulder at the men as they left and sighed once they were gone before looking over to the clock, he still had some time to pretend the world didn’t exist so he yelled at the lady that he was going back to work to which he got a bored wave in response.

Grabbing a dirty towel he threw it over his right shoulder and went back to the car he was working on previously as he mumbled above weird guys and annoying front desk ladies.

(At downtown king high)

“Ok class, today you will have a very special prodject, you will be paired up with a student from another school and be tasked with researching and sketching our schools fine architecture”

Nancy shuffled her papers and loosened the collar on her stiff uniform, she hated working in a group, partners were worse since if they weren’t nice their was nobody else to work with. She could sense that it won’t go over well, last time she was with a partner she was stabbed in the leg with scissors, but that was a different story.

“Hey featherweight” a girl from behind her hissed “move your head down your crazy ponytails blocking my view”

Nancy rolled her eyes and tried to tighten the large cloud of black frizz at the back of her hair. She hated this school, well more of the people in it. Their all kids who think anything less that the best is awful. As the teacher called out names of the groupings nancy slowly sank into ideas of revenge, first Their was swapping out her 100$ foundation for a cheap brand, then to something involving a snake, then to-

“Nancy.s, you’ll be paired off with Franky”

Nancy nodded, writing down the name on her hand in case she forgot.

((Time skip))

Franky woke up on the only furniture he owned..a crappy questionable tan couch, giving a yawn and sitting up throwing his legs over the side of the couch he leaned over and rubbed his face with his hands..another day over restless sleep, lovely.

He made a tired groan as he stood up and towards the small knee height fridge the owner gave him when he fixed it up, per their deal for it. He grabbed a water and chugged it letting the water stretched his stomach since he didn’t have any food.. he was planning on using the money to buy some real food later today.

Going towards the bathroom he took a quick shower using a old bar of soap to wash himself and clean his hair, he got dress in his usual cloithing a old black shirt, and his blue mechanic jump shirt tied at his waist. He walked to the front door sitting on the floor to put on his grungy boots.

After finishing he pushed the door open and walked around closing it not bothering to lock it, he didn’t have anything to steal so there wasn’t a point too.

Walking done the street he almost went to his school but remembered He had to go to the preppy school, sighing loudly he continued to walk past his school and slowly as he walked the town was slowly getting richer and richer and he scoffed. When he saw the school up ahead he rolled his eyes at the sight of the school, it screamed rich kid.

“Heya buddy!” Obsidian appeared from a street corner “ready for your mission?”

“Yea!” Seraph fluttered down to the ground with his pair of wings. Folding them back into his backpack

“We got info on who you’ll be with, your supposed to be with a partner in order to talk about rich people buildings, but try to instead find the rich kid by asking her”

He took out the old phone again, showing him the picture of his partner “Here’s your partner Nancy, remember, don’t ask suspicious and just act casual”

“Unless she punches you” seraph added “then go crazy”

“Yeah whatever got it” he said with a nod “do I get paid for this” he asked again before he went into the school grounds. This Nancy chick better be worth it or it was a waste of his time.

The students were all gathered around in the main lobby, a well blended mix of dirt poor and filthy rich. They all wore name tags to make identification easier

“Franky right?” Nancy tapped Franky on the shoulder, giving him the best smile she could with as little anxiety showing through “I’m nancy”

Franky stood around feeling completely out of place like all the other that were in his shoes felt, like dirt on a fancy a** shoe. He was made to wear a name tag with his full name Franky Dobber, he hated his last name not only was it a reminder of what happened it was also plastered all over the news a few years back, though he was held back some years being 18 in sophomore year was a pain but then again he wasn’t alone in that either. Not many star genius in his school.

When o girl came over to him he looked down, he was at least a half a foot taller than her and he nodded when she said his name “Yeah nice to meet you nance” he replied give the girl a nickname already.
