avanari Naw, Verdant just calls himself Verdant. He has no last name, he doesn't see the point for one, as long as people recognize him. :3
((Also, thank you! Verdant is my fluffball cinnabun who likes hugs. His power varies depending on the hatred or love around him... so in really scary situations, he is pretty much useless lmao))

Okay. Totally fine.

Douglas’s human form looks too inhuman. Normal humans should be able to tell he’s a creature in hiding.
Subtle differences please.

Avanari Not sure if editing an @ in a previous post will notify so putting it here just in case.
*Human form: Appears to be a human child with extreme facial vitiligo, shaggy dusky hair and very dark brown eyes. The hair also covers their ear holes. His teeth look between being too sharp and being that way because of poor dental health. Still has no tongue, but the human disguise spell makes it look like it was cut off instead of not being there in the first place.

That should work. Just update it on the actual form and it should be good. Thanks!

Username: Emeraldwaters
Name: Liam Dawson
Age: 34, though that's about the equivalent of 7 or 8 for his particular species.
Gender: Changes with transformations, though he identifies as male.
Race: A Caucasian human, or whatever the equivalent of that might be in this roleplay world.
Species: Shapeshifting/Shadow Demon
Role: He usually hangs around towards the center of the city, near the castle and where the more rich people are, using his shadow-traveling and shape-shifting powers to steal food or supplies when he needs them. He sleeps in empty stables, alleyways, or other places where guards aren't likely to find him. He's a citizen, though I don't think the Hunt considers demons citizens, so a rogue demon, I guess?
Appearance:
Human: A young boy, about 8, with black hair, pale skin that has a very noticeable lack of color making people think he's sick if they see him sometimes, and brown eyes is how he usually appears. He usually wears a cotton tunic, and dark grey trousers in his human form, as wella s some worn leather shoes. Not exactly high-end dressing, but it's fairly comfortable, and the trousers are loose enough to hide his tail, which is dark grey and spotted, with a tuft of white hair on the end. When he twines his tail around one leg, you can hardly tell it's there. He will take other forms of humans, too, if needed to disguise himself, though it's easiest for him to appear in forms he's used to, and he uses this form so often that he can even sleep while in this form, and not revert back to his own natural form. He also wears a hood that hangs over his face a little, or a hat if he can manage to get his hands on one, to hide the horns that are beginning to grow. His teeth are slightly pointed, though it's barely noticeable.
Demon: Shapeshifting demon, can also travel through shadows up to a distance of 4 miles. In his natural form, he appears mostly like a human child, but with grey fur that is thickest around his neck and on his spine, and softest/thinnest/lightest around his face, ears, and throat. He has pointed, slightly stretched out ears, the tips of his white horns are just beginning to show through his hair, which is black and shaggy just like in his human shape, and his tail is long and thin, not large enough to be prehensile, but very flexible, and he often twines it around himself or chews on the furry white tip on it when nervous. In his demon form, he wears pretty much the same exact thing as in his human form, though he doesn't wear a hood, or shoes. (I'll probably make art of him soon)
Personality: He keeps to himself, and is very quiet in general, rarely interacting with anyone except for when he's being chased for stealing things. He rarely trusts people in general, and trust in adults is even rarer, this goes for both human and non-humans. He's very good at being stealthy, is a quick thinker, and great at solving problems. He can be very cold and even sort of mean, though he doesn't realize when he's doing something wrong, as he's never really had guidance on that sort of thing. Even though for humans he might be young adult/close to middle age, he is still a little kid by demon standards, and he absolutely LOVES playing games, sweets, money (for buying sweets or food for his pet rat), and solving riddles. He sometimes might try to play with other humans, if there are no adults around, and he's made friends, though they never lasted long, and he always ended up alone again. He has a few weird customs of his own, that he probably made up just for fun, but then became routine for him. He also hasn't taken a bath, in like, years. He likes baking, but he never gets a chance to do it, for reasons that are probably obvious.
Brief History: Liam's mother was a demon, and his father was actually a baker. His father had given shelter to her, taking pity on her when she had knocked on his door, desperate to escape the Hunt. She lived with him for 3 years, and they had taken to each other quite quickly, eventually falling in love. However, the Hunt was still after her, and they had heard a report from a neighbor, who had spotted Liam's mother in the tiny garden behind their house, while she was tending to the garden, as neighbors usually didn't look back there. However, it was not safe, and the Hunt was already on their way when his father ran in, and insisted she fled. He would stay behind, to direct the guards away from her, in order to buy her time, and also to take care of the rest of his family. So she fled, with a few pieces of food from the bakery that would barely last a few days. Only a few weeks later, however, she realized she was pregnant with the baker's and her son. She went back to tell him, but his house had been abandoned, and he was nowhere to be found. She then had to retreat again, before she was spotted, and never was able to find clues of where he had gone, or if he was alive. She never stopped searching, however. Eventually, Liam was born, and his mother, who had no last name, gave him the last name of his father, Dawson. As she continued to search, it got more and more dangerous, however, and instead of putting her son in danger, she believed he'd have a better chance if she left him to fend for himself. So, she abandoned him at the age of 19, when he was about the equivalent of 6 in human years. He had developed his shapeshifting abilities to a limited amount then, and as he walked down the street, looking for his mother after nearly a day of her being gone, and getting hungry, he saw a little boy with black hair, looking at him curiously. The little boy stared at him, and he stared back, but the little boy's mother gasped as he saw the demon-child, and quickly pulled the little boy inside. Liam had seen him enough, though, to be able to copy his form. As his powers weren't developed all the way, though, hints of his being a demon stuck, and he hasn't been able to get rid of them since, even though it's much less obvious in other forms, those traits always stuck with him, no matter what human form he took. He figured out how to hide them, though, and when he got hungry enough, he stole from a market, his thievery getting more refined and skillful than spontaneous and risky as he grew and got more practice, eventually becoming skilled in his shadow-travel as well, until he came to where he is in the present. He hopes to steal treasure from the castle one day and sell it, so he could be rish for the reast of his life and move far away, to live in the country. (very wishful/optimistic thinking, but he's a kid, he doesn't think logically about some things)
Extra: He has a pet rat named Yvette, who he adores and is very protective of (and Yvette also happens to be pregnant, but he hasn't discovered that fact just yet)

So, is Liam just a Citizen then? That part is a little unclear.

Since we have so many creatures and Untamed would any of you be willing to make one or two normal humans? Like part of the hunt, royal family, someone who just works in the castle, or just an everyday human citizen? I want to balance this out more. I know how fun creatures can be but I’d like this rp to be a bit more even in terms of creature/human ratio. (I’m not pinging Burrito or Fox because they have a second normal character in the making)

@/Avanari yeah, sure! I had originally planned on making one, but forgot, oops, but I'll start working on the form now.
