Username: Emeraldwaters
Name: Bast Salizen (Goes by this name, but has nicknames for each head)
Age: About 98
Gender: Multiple
Race: A tan human of mixed ethnicities.
Species: Hydra
Role: Mercenary/Bounty Hunter/Assassin for hire, they don't care who's hiring as long as it isn't the Hunt or someone allied to them, and they pay well.
Appearance:
Human: A tan human with swirling, patterned and scale-like tattoos covering one arm, shoulder, the back of their neck, and nearly half of their back. Their hair is black and pulled back into a long ponytail. They're covered in small scars, though they have a larger scar on one cheek, and quite a few larger ones on their limbs. The largest, most noticeable one, however, is on their right shoulder, and it is a large, nasty-looking burn scar that is centered between their neck and shoulder. It doesn't hinder their movement much now, and doesn't hurt them (except for occasional pangs of pain, but not major pain), but it is rather ugly, and they prefer to cover it up when they're in human form, which is most of the time. They have somewhat scarred/disfigured lips, though that is because of their incredibly sharp, long teeth even in human form, and the habit they have of biting their lip while thinking. Their teeth, plus their long, grey-green, forked tongue, cause them to have a major lisp.
basically sollux's lisp. They wear no armor, as they have some rather tough skin, though they lack scales, they prefer to be able to move around as much as possible, and if they ever find themselves in need of something like that, they can just switch into their hydra form, where their scales make for perfect armor. They carry a crossbow and a shortsword, the blade of the sword and the bolts of the crossbow which they've doused with their own blood, making them extremely poisonous, extremely painful, and much more dangerous. However, there is a cure, which they actually keep a good amount of on hand, just in case. They wear most dark grey clothing, but the belt they use to hold their crossbow and shortsword, as well as their boots, are a dull yellow, slightly duller and less orange than one of their eyes (both extremely reptilian with slitted pupils, one the orange and yellow of the right head, and one the white/icy blue/grey of the left head.) They wrap light grey cloth over their lower face, hiding their nose and below, and wear an almost-black cloak with a large hood that keeps the rest of their face shadowed.
Monster: (like this, but with two heads + one burned stump)
Personality: They have a bit of a conflicting personality, and often act strangely, sometimes even arguing outloud with themself in human form. However, the things that they always seem to be motivated by, to varying degrees, are wealth, shiny/magical things, and food. After that, they might disagree or agree on anything. They sometimes play pranks on other people, especially if the people are people they hate, or people they like, it's hard to tell. However, they can often be found muttering about how stupid pranks are right after they do one. The same goes for their hobby of gardening; they own a small house cramped between many others, having killed the previous owner to move in, and have a small garden behind it. They might, for example, spend an hour replanting some tomato plants, then promptly kick or stomp on the plants, and then gasp and stare in horror at what they'd just done, and then start yelling at themselves. It can be kind of entertaining to watch. Because of their strange conflicting personalities, however, it can be hard to judge them, gain their favor, etc.
Brief History: Their parents are both members of the Untamed, though Bast has no idea whether either are still alive, and frankly doesn't care. Family usually isn't a very big thing for hydras and reptilian monsters in general; after they were old enough to leave the nest, they were kicked out, and knew better than to come back, even if their life was in danger. After that, they had to find out how to make a living for themselves, first serving the Untamed, then disappearing, wanting to decided for themselves what missions they might go on, who they might kill, or who they might fight for. So they served as a mercenary, and eventually gained a reputation, especially among people in need of someone to do their dirty work for them. They've even done work for lords and other nobles before. (Not Royalty though, just people on the higher end of the social structure).
Extra: They live in a small, cramped building in the busy part of the city, between the center of the city and the slums. They have a small yard/garden area behind his home, but do most of their business in the alleyway to the right of their house, as well as the basement under the house, which has two entrances, though the second one, the one not leading out to the alleyway, only he knows about. He has multiple informants, both human and monster.
