In a world controlled by those "superior" creatures, the humans, elves, and dwarves, life is hard for those ones deemed lesser. They would not hesitate to kill a goblin, slime, or orc. Adventurers often do and think nothing of it. They are told of the horrors that the "monsters" commit; that they only want to bring destruction upon their human, elf, or dwarf civilizations. The monsters are painted as fiendish beings with lesser intelligence and are jealous of the more noble and sophisticated beings. So, to them, it is justified to attack any of the monsters on site. But from the so called monsters' points of view? They are merely trying to live in a world where they are hated and reviled. Neither are they lesser of intelligence and most are not as savage as the humans, elves, and dwarves lead themselves to think. While they do not have any towering castles, many of these monsters live in villages and outposts hidden deep within areas those who would attack them deem too dangerous to venture. Outnumbered, they just try to make by, as many have tried to fight against the others before and all have fail and actually backfired, only causing more resentment towards the monsters.
However, a chance for change has presented itself. Word as spread of an artifact in possession of the human kingdom that is incredibly powerful and could potentially have the ability to give the monsters an edge against the larger, more organized kingdoms. The information was gathered by an apparently very important human noble, as he won't cease speaking to that fact, who was very willing to give up the information to ensure he wouldn't be harmed by the Orcs who captured him wandering too close to their territory. The noble is currently being held in an Orc stronghold, so anyone who is interested in finding this artifact must travel there.

((So, this was just an idea I had where the story would be from the point of view of the fantasy "monsters" who are usually the enemies you would find in most RPGs.))

History:
Other:
Name: Zerlocke
Age: Undefined, likely thousands of years
Species: Lich
Gender: Male (That is what he prefers plus his voice is masculine)
Sexuality: Asexual
Class: Mage (Specifically uses mainly dark magic)
Appearance:
Zerlock is what you would expect from a lich, a completely skeletal figure magically bound together so that he does not fall to pieces. A vibrant green orb, like the color of grass in spring, glows within the darkness of each of his eye sockets in the place of eyes. Arcane symbols are carved into every piece of bone he has, their meaning lost to the mages of the present. His bones are a brilliant white despite his age. Typically, he wears billowing, black robes over his skeletal form. The main reason being that, if he were to encounter any that would see no problem in attacking a lich, the robes would disguise what he was. For the same reason, he carries with him a mask to keep any part of his face that the hood of his robe might not cover hidden.
Personality:
Zerlocke is a driven individual. Ever since he woke up from hundred of years of sleeping, he has not stopped searching for what he seeks. Any lead that might even hold a shred of truth to it, he pursues it until it turns out to be merely another wild goose chase. He feels that he has time to look into all possible leads because it would be worth it if even one turned out to be what he was looking for. He has a deep disdain for necromancers and their summoned skeletons. To him, they are nothing more than those who tarnish the name of what lich used to be and merely soulless imitations. His fellow lich, who have turned into nothing more than savages after centuries of constant attack, he views with sadness and pity, but he does not hesitate to put them out of their misery. It is sort of the way a human would view a zombie version of someone they knew. Aside from these cases, he generally avoids fighting unless it proves there is no other way. Well versed in ancient magic, he is quite a skilled mage and is highly intelligent. His view of the living is that many of them are so fragile and short-lived. They require food, water, sleep, and even with all of that they can still get ill or injured easily and they only live around a hundred years or two. He dislikes those who only use force and favors those who have an inquisitive mind, not necessarily those who are very intelligent. As he feels like it is more important for someone to be asking questions and wanting to learn than it is to be naturally smart. His sense of humor is rather dry and sarcastic, although he doesn't often joke around.
History:
Zerlocke came to be in a time in a distant past, when lich were something far different than what they are seen as today. They had many thriving underground cities, a rich culture, and were some of the world's most skilled mages. Lich are something different than what many of the people today think, as they were brought to life from the magical energies from the world itself and not from trapped souls of the departed. Thus, they see necromancy as an insult. While they grew powerful in their cities, but that made them the target of another subterranean people: the dwarves. The dwarves sought alliance with the elves, who sought to eliminate what they thought was a potential threat, and waged war on the lich people. Unaccustomed to fighting but skilled with magic, the lich were able to hold their own for a while but, lacking any warrior-like members of their army, they could not hold out forever. The dwarves even collapsed the caverns holding their cities for good measure, which was what had caught Zerlocke and entombed him for centuries. He is unsure what happened exactly. In one moment, he was helping his fellows evacuate and, in the next, everything went dark and the need to recover from his injures lulled him into a deep sleep.
Upon waking up, he was met with the horrible truth that his people had lost the war and their culture had all but vanished. The world that he lived in now was cruel and harsh for him. He was seem as a monster and what did remain of his people were no more than savage groups who had turned into beings driven by hatred and would attack anything on sight. While the urge to seek vengeance boiled within him, he resisted or lest he become no better than the others. Instead, he directed that anger towards finding a way to remake his people. The way most lich were formed was through a ceremony which bound the pure magic of the world to the bones of those long dead. However, Zerlocke knows not of the specifics of the ceremony itself and, thus cannot recreate it. So, he searches for either some remnant of his people's society where he might find some ancient tome which holds the answers he seeks or something with the power to bypass the ceremony entirely. And thus, he wanders and searches as the last true lich.
Other:
((This guy will be the Orc commander at the stronghold))
Name: Durrok Stronghammer
Age: 30
Species: Orc
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Class: Tank
Appearance:
Durrok looks like he is perfectly built for battle, with a muscular build and very tall at 6'7". With his pale green skin adorned with many scars from various fights he has been on, he looks every inch the fearsome orc that haunts the nightmares of any human warrior. With chiseled features and a lower jaw that juts out a bit which reveals his lower canine teeth, he is quite handsome by orc standards and potentially others as well. His eyes are a deep, chocolate brown which makes him appear a little less threatening. Well, as long as you haven't angered him, then those eyes will show every ounce of his rage. His black hair is long enough to cover his slightly pointed ears, if he lets it down, but he usually keeps it tied back to keep it out of his face. He wears heavy armor whenever he is on duty or traveling, but only puts on his helm when it is obvious that a conflict will occur. A massive warhammer looms across his back, ready to be swung at anyone who dares attack his outpost.
Personality:
Durrok is a very straightforward and honest sort, letting you know exactly how he feels about you rather than hiding behind flowery words and pleasantries. If he likes you, you'll know it, and the same could be said if he doesn't like you. As a warrior himself, he respects strength and is even attracted to it. He definitely would be more attracted to a woman warrior than a woman who wasn't a warrior. While he doesn't have anything against magic personally, he is a bit hesitant to accept those that do use magic as he feels like they have the ability to use a weapon that cannot be sheathed and thus can be used at any moment. To most and especially his friends, however, he is quite friendly and loves to joke around and share tales of glory over a pint of ale. When it comes to his job as the commander of an outpost, he takes it very seriously. To him, nothing is more important than making sure that his people are safe and that they do not lose any more warriors than necessary if conflict arises. While he may not be exactly book smart, Durrok is quite a good military strategist. However, he hold a high sense of honor and will not use any tactics that would dishonor himself or his men.
History:
Durrok was born in an orc village near an outpost where his father was a soldier at the outpost and his mother worked as a blacksmith. His early life was fairly ordinary for an orc, his siblings and him would always be sparing and playing but always careful not to get too close to the road or venture too far from the safety deep within the forest. That was, until a small army of humans attacked the stronghold and nearby village where his family and him lived. In his mid teens years and old enough to have some knowledge of combat, Durrok did his best to help the villagers escape while warriors from the outpost held the human army off. While they had the advantage of a battle on their home territory which was enough to allow them to get everyone out, the warriors were unable to hold the superior numbers of the humans back and gave their lives fighting to ensure those in the village could escape. While his mother, siblings, and himself were lucky enough to escape, his father fell in battle that day. While he was saddened, his father had an honorable death so, it was not meant to be something to grieve. However, this event cemented his wanting to be a warrior and fight for his people and others to keep them safe. He was determined to do better and ensure that there would be no need for such a desperate tactic as dying to buy time would have to be used. So, he set about joining the ranks of another outpost and, through years of training and effort, he eventually earned the rank to lead his own warriors. Durrok even led a group to reclaim the outpost the humans took from the orcs many years earlier and succeeded, becoming the commander of the outpost afterward.

Hey! :3 Yay, someone is interested in the roleplay! :D And okay, take your time. :3
And aw, thanks X3. I was actually having trouble describing how Zerlocke looked because how much detail can you really put into describing a skeleton? XD And I'll never turn down OC art lol. :3

AbyssRanger Ooh! Mind if I slip a vampire into the mix?))
Name: Lawrence Hale
Age: ...Old. Appears late middle-aged.
Species: Human vampire.
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Pansexual
Class: Druid (Ability-wise. Not an actual druid.)
Appearance: Hale is a thin man standing at around 5'7, with sharp features and a tall, narrow chin but an oddly 'kindly' look about his face. His hair has long since gone white, retaining only the slightest blond tint, and is tied back in a shoulder-length ponytail. His eyes are yellow, 'hawklike' things with smallish pupils, and his lips are unusually pink compared to his paper-pale, lightly freckled, slightly wrinkled complexion. The teeth in his mouth are bright and in good condition for his visible age, and the canines, particularly the upper pair, are quite large and wickedly sharp.
He wears simple clothes, a faded blue tunic and darker trousers, a belt, leather vest laced at the front, simple, worn boots... Nothing out of the ordinary save for a dusty, leather-bound book that seems immune to the outdoor elements, even water. He talks to it as though it were a person.
Personality: Hale portrays himself as a harmless, fairly austere and innocent old man clinging to an unachievable but noble goal; to learn just a little bit about everything there is to know. He smiles a lot and tends to alternate between stubbornly cheerful and briefly melancholic. Inward he is a selfish, spiteful creature, ever distrustful and constantly over-analyzing the actions of others, bent on little more than the accumulation of power and gaining true immortality, whatever the cost. He does genuinely enjoy company and is particularly fond of being around small children and their mothers, though he somewhat envies the way they look after one another. He is very patient, knowledgeable about mathematics and reading, and it is hard to get to him with insults or accusations.
History: Where Hale originally came from is anyone's guess, for he has lived through many ages and his memory is not much better than that of living man at its peak. He can recall such occupations as shoemaking, teaching and fighting for pay, but names and places easily escape them unless he has some sort of sight to jog his memory. He's kept a fairly low profile throughout history, and recounts that Lawrence Hale is probably not his original name.
Other: Not harmed by sunlight, most definitely hurt by certain herbs, warding symbols, silver, etc. Can shapeshift, but only at certain times of day or when exposed to certain kinds of magic. He is around 2-3 times stronger than the average working-class man when out of the light, but all his powers abandon him when exposed to the sun. He has other magic abilities but they likewise rely on environmental conditions and a steady supply of mortal blood, human or otherwise. Think Dracula-esque lore, but less brute strength and more opportunism.

Lawrence looks good and is accepted! I do have some issues with Nicholas, though. Given that his appearance is so drastically different from humans and he is a half-demon, it would be unlikely that most humans would be so accepting of him. If he attracted so much attention, then he probably would have been met with an angry mob or they would try to kill him. Also, you might want to have a reason he would help find the artifact as well. Lawrence I can guess wants to find it because he wants to achieve true immortality, but I can't really venture a guess why Nicholas would, you know?
