Hello. If this RP is still open, I might be interested in joining.
One quick question before I work on a form though- the RP title says you need humans, but does that mean only humans, or can I still make an OC of another species? ))

@InsanityAbyss I just need to know....
would a Celestial Narwhal count as a mythical sea creature, and could I make a character for that?

Name: Delta
Age: Ancient
Gender: Female
Species: Sea Guardian (Indian)
Personality: Delta tries really hard to please everyone, which can make her come of as a sort of suckup, but she just wants everyone to be happy. She went from an actual background character to one of the five most well-known beings on the Earth so quickly that she still struggles to comprehend it. She’s usually extremely nervous that she’ll accidentally destroy the world (although that’s highly unlikely), and she’s also highly susceptible to others views of her, causing her to be taken advantage of very quickly. Because of this, she tends to end up rushing things and messing things up even more than before, which makes her feel extremely guilty and apologise way too much before kind of shutting herself off and staying quiet. She loves praise and comfort, though, and is much more open, less awkward when she feels incredibly comfortable with others.
Appearance: Delta has what could be considered two and a half forms. She has her main, Guardian form, which she prefers among most, her mermaid form which she uses around her family and other mermaids, and her humanoid form, which she uses when interacting with humans. The mermaid form and humanoid form are identical other than the fact that the humanoid form has legs.
Delta’s Guardian form looks sort of like this:
(I don’t own the image) except for three major differences. For one, she’s much bigger, by maybe three or four times. Her coloring is also different; she changes color to blend with the type of water she’s in (turquoise near the surface, dark teal deep underwater, and rusty red in the red sea). The last difference is that she has many more bioluminescent areas on her body, sort of like the blue people from Avatar but covering her back like the patterning on manta rays and some of the rest of her body.
Her mermaid form is sort of like this:
but with much longer hair (it gets annoying but it’s mermaid custom to have very, very long hair) and gray eyes. Her human form just has legs instead of the manta ray lower half, but the coloring is the same.
Bio: Delta was once one of your everyday manta ray merfolk, minding her own business and searching for food for her family when she bumped into the Sea Guardian of the Indian Ocean, lying on his side on the ocean floor. She was preparing to swim away from the gargantuan creature, but soon realized that he, Mathias, was dying. Alone. How Delta knew of this fact, and how she knew there was no way to save him she didn't know. Delta hesitated for a moment, but eventually decided to stay with the Guardian and keep him company. She sank to the ocean floor and curled up in the sand, observing the majestic being. She had been sitting there for a while, Mathias' eyes opening after some time and observing her in return. She didn't react in any unusual way, just smiling at him softly. They watched each other for about an hour before Mathias closed his eyes once more. Delta knew at this moment that they wouldn't open again. She swam up to the Guardian, and rested her hand on his gills, amazed by the sheer size of the now dead being. She smiled solemnly once more, whispering a soft goodbye to him, before swimming away slowly, considering what she'd just witnessed. It took some time for Delta to understand the weight of the situation, but when she did she also felt compelled to change. Change what she wasn't sure, but she obeyed her conscious' request and felt her bones shift and muscles stretch until she herself had morphed into a Guardian, the new caretaker of the Indian Ocean. She accepted this newfound discovery with a mix of panic and shock, but immediately left to search for some sort of guidance. This was new, and confused wasn't nearly enough to describe how she felt.
Extras: Delta has fire and wind magic, but they were both rather newly acquired and she has literally no idea how to use either of them. She's also the youngest Guardian, so most of what she does can be summed up as, "what is going on who are you what is this what am I doing help." She tries her best.

@InsanityAbyss ((I made a raider, how do they look?))
Name: Mayze Trevil
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Species: Human (Raider)
Personality: The most sarcastic, sassy, no-nonsense woman you'll ever meet. She has a tendency to interrupt other peoples' sentences, and get herself in trouble for speaking out of turn. Thankfully, she has a way of words that helps get her out of the many sticky situations she gets into. She, like most raiders, doesn't believe in the Sea Guardians. Her logic is, "what you can't see after traveling the seas for so long probably doesn't exist." She calls herself a master of disguise, even though her disguises usually consist of wearing glasses and a cape. So masterful. She also demands everyone to call her Commander, even though she technically isn't one. Despite her silly side, she's actually pretty clever, and is extremely skilled with killing sea monsters...
Appearance: Mayze has strawberry blonde hair which she wears in corn rows with beads, bones, and feathers threaded throughout. She's pretty pale despite her time spend in the sun, but she does have a whole lot of freckles all over, and dark hazel eyes. She's about 5'8", and takes pride in the number of scars covering her body from especially tricky sea monster attacks. Her clothing usually consists of light, flowy tops with equally flowy skirts that she typically pins up with belt straps or chains. Throughout her trips to various kingdoms, she's also collected a large amount of gold jewelry, which she wears like trophies.
Bio: Mayze was raised as a raider and inherited a ship once her father died and her mother ran off with another man. Mayze never heard from them again, but she never liked her cowardly mother anyway. Once she had the ship, all she needed was the crew; her father's crew was more than happy to serve and guide the spunky, 16-year-old girl. That is, until an especially nasty accident with an unexpected storm and unwelcome sea monster, where Mayze was flung from her ship, and her crew swallowed whole. The sea monster knew she was still alive, but left her to tell the tale and suffer the nightmares of her new family being eaten alive. As of now, she purposefully searches for sea monsters to kill in order to enact revenge for her crew, working alone until she can find more raiders to join her. The nightmares still haunt her at night.
Extras: Her new ship from after the incident is treated with the greatest respect by Mayze, and she keeps it in pristine condition. She also has a screaming tickbird that she wears as a hat. His name is Rubert, and he warns her of intruders. By screaming. Loudly.

We're currently in need of humans in higher position (King/Queen, Prince/Princess) if you could fill out either of those it'd be perfect ^^
But yes you can still make another character, but humans are in need and we'd appreciate if you can make one
@CelestialNarwhal It would ^^ And yes you can make one! Be creative!
@SteampunkGriffin Your form is perfect!

@InsanityAbyss
I probably won't be able to take a human position. I don't have very much experience with human characters.
However, if nobody else takes the roles and you really need them, I might be able to take one of them. No guarantees though. Sorry.
I'll start working on my mythical creature form for now.

Name: Andrew (Drew for short)
Age (Except Sea Guardians, they're ancient): 20

Drew has a very go-with-the-flow kind of person. He is kind, loyal, and calm. He is a beast in a fight when he cares about it. Silent and deadly.

Average build male that stands 6' 4" and he is quiet fit for his build. He has blonde [messy] hair and deep blue eyes. He typically wears black metal armor with a matching sword. Drew has lived as a Prince his entire life. He was taught how to act at a very young age. He learned how to fight after not much longer. He holds every thing in the kingdom as a sacred monument to the Aspidochelone and the Sea Guardians. He takes pride in everything there, whether he shows it or not. He wishes to keep his people safe and hopefully meet his protectors, the Sea Guardians. One time, his kingdom came under attack from a ton of Raiders and he struggled to keep his kingdom from being destroyed. The Pacific Sea Guardian heard his prayer and came to his rescue. Name: August
Age (Except Sea Guardians, they're ancient): 25
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Personality: Not exactly what someone expect of someone who had been raised as royalty, August is an individual with a lot of emotions. He seems to feel everything more than other people- not because he's got some magic empathy, but because he just has very poor emotional control. He tries to seem cold and aloof, like a prince should be, but it's an easily broken facade. August relies a lot on people, and is very clingy and loyal when it comes to his friends. The man can be incredibly aggressive when it comes to protecting his friends. On first meeting, he's generally nervous. All around not the most suited to princedom.
Appearance:
theres so much wrong with this drawing its so oooold August stands at a fair 6'3, though his broad-shouldered build gives him extra presence in a room. His hair is black, while his eyes are a deep brown a few shades lighter than his skin. He, predictably, wears the clothing his station affords him, with expensive coats and well-tailored shirts and pants. Blue accents light clothing most of the time.
Bio: August was adopted into the royal family at a young age after his father, a famed knight, passed away saving the king and queen from an assassin. As such, he has no real claim to the throne, but that's just a relief to him- he's a follower, not a leader. He grew up alongside the royal siblings and considers them his brothers and sisters. He always stuck out like a sore thumb, though, and as he grew became a little shy and withdrawn. In general, he had a good childhood. Things got a little different when he got older and talks of arranged marriages started to happen, aiming to pair him up with a lovely young woman and have babies and all that thing which royalty is supposed to do. Beyond being a hopeless romantic who dreams of star-crossed lovers and such things, August -is pretty sure women aren't his thing-. The chaos caused by the rumors of the Sea Guardian's death have been a welcome distraction, and August plans to help figure out what, exactly, is going on. Er, as long as someone else takes the lead.
Extras: ahh i hope this is alright! If something is wrong please just let me know ;u;
Appearance:
theres so much wrong with this drawing its so oooold
August stands at a fair 6'3, though his broad-shouldered build gives him extra presence in a room. His hair is black, while his eyes are a deep brown a few shades lighter than his skin. He, predictably, wears the clothing his station affords him, with expensive coats and well-tailored shirts and pants. Blue accents light clothing most of the time.

Alright, here's my mythical creature OC. if you really need, I might be able to make a human later on. But for now,
Name: Ventulus (Latin for 'breeze')
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Species: Griffin
Personality: Quiet, calculating, intelligent. Ventulus rarely ever shows herself to anyone she doesn't know, as she doesn't enjoy social interaction. She is an expert at seeing the intentions of others, so it can be quite difficult to hide big secrets from her. She is also extremely good with battle strategies and tactics. Although she is highly intelligent, she tends to avoid battle if possible, as she tends to have very low defenses in battle. She tends to avoid any contact with other creatures as much as possible, as she despises social interaction of any sort. She never gives her trust easily. If she is forced to interact with someone, she is typically quick-tempered and fierce towards everyone she meets. She can also be rather sharp-tongued. However, she does have a calmer side, a more caring side. But it takes some effort to bring out this side of her. If you manage to earn her trust, she is extremely loyal and protective.
Appearance:

(( image is NOT mine ))
Like the above image, except her front talons are dark silver-gray and her eyes are a light cyan blue. She also has a few scars on her back legs and paws. She is somewhat small in size, a little bigger than an average horse.
Bio:
(( Can I fill this in later, or work it out as we RP?
But for a quick summary of her present life, she's wandering the island on her own, staying hidden in peaceful solitude, uninterested in the lives of humans. ))
Extras:
- Has decent knowledge of magic, but does not use any.
- She is aware of the humans' kingdoms, although she purposefully avoids them.
- She is extremely quick and agile, as well as intelligent. However, although her deadly appearance and attitude might suggest otherwise, she is not a very good fighter. She doesn't use magical attacks, and she has very little training in physical attacks or defenses.
