The notorious phrase rings out throughout Sornieth, reaching dragons all
across the land- symbolizing the start of the Sornieth Games. There were 11 “regions” in which dragons came from, and the Capital of all the regions- located in the heart of continent. The Sunbeam Ruins, located nearest to the Capital, was nicknamed the 1rst District. The dragons from there were sunny, shiny, but cunning. The Scarred Wasteland, located west of the grand Capital, was dubbed the 2nd District. These dragons were survivors, these dragons were trained for the Games. Then came the Shifting Expanse. They were named the 3rd District. These dragons were intuitive, and crafty. The 4th District was the Sea of a Thousand Currents. These dragons were also trained from early on. These dragons were usually flowing, but could pack a powerful punch if angered. The Starfall Isles were the 5th District. These could bend arcane into impressive energy, used to fuel the nation. Thus the Windswept Plateau became the 6th District. These dragons used their dominant torrents to transport whatever they could across domain. Having many trees, the Viridian Labyrinth was the 7th District. These dragons were “natural”, and proceed with the lands around them. Going on, the Tangled Wood was the 8th District, weaving their tales of trickery and theft into their tapestries. Being such a cold place, the Southern Icefield was not an ideal place for grain, but it was the only choice for the Capital, so they chose it. These dragons imbue their ice with the grain they produce, increasing assembly with their strict, rigid structure. Thus, they became the 9th District. Earth dragons carry livestock upon their wide expanses of terrain, earning them the title of the 10th District. Being so large and already carrying grain upon their lands, the Southern Icefield also was in charge of Agriculture combining the 9th and the 11th Districts into one. For District 12, the Capital turned to the last of the flights- Fire. Already having techniques in masonry, coal was no problem for the fiery hearts of the dragons of the Ashfall Waste. But somewhere in the 12 District, there was a 13th- where the Fire dragons put their passion to the ultimate test, creating Nuclear Weaponry in hopes to rid the continent of their once so beloved Capital, once and for all.

Now with the Capital willing to do anything it takes to control it's territory, it has put forth the Sornieth Games- where each flight sends forth dragons to compete in a fight to the death. Dragons could choose to volunteer, as winning one of these games earned you honor, and pride. So dragons volunteer, receiving training. If they are not seen as fit, they are eliminated. There is one trainer for each district, all hardened to stone by their countless battles. But they are willing to help. They are willing to teach all they know to help you reach the top. And perhaps kill you to get what they want. District 1 has Aurum, a Wildclaw who's friendly when you meet him, but has a nasty habit of losing his mind when angered. District 2 has Panoukla, a vicious Fae who has a tendency to kill you as soon as you meet her. Or at least lure you into a trap, teaching you survival efficiently. District 3 has Fulgar, an ingenious inventor who clings tight to his secrets. He'll teach you as much as he wants you to know, then abandon you. District 4 has Minerva. She's cool and collected, but can lash out without warning. District 5 has Mediocris, the dreamer. But his attitude towards things, and his stubborn ways can lead others into trouble when in fights with him. District 6 has Mercury. A fierce fighter, with a brilliant mind and a dirty set of claws that slash at anything they can get on. District 7 has Quinn. A gentle, patient soul, but when it comes to the battlefield, he's all-out chaos. District 8 has Nightingale, who has a beautiful voice, but will use it as she sees fit. District 9 has Katrina. A quiet soul who's unpredictable and unstable. She's deadly with her mind, her claws, anything really. District 10 has Apollo. A sweet Earth Wildclaw who acts nice but has a streak of deadly madness boiling inside of him. District 11 has Frigidum. She might be ice too, but she's got a cruel taste for her victim's blood... and her own. District 12 has Cinere. A passionate Wildclaw who'll just about do anything to either reach her own ends or help someone else reach theirs. District 13, has Ember. Not much is known about her, but what is know, is dangerous. |
