({That's a relief; I don't want to stop either. Sorry again if I sounded passive-aggressive or something.})
Vera Piui Hato
Vera exhaled a breath she didn't knew she was holding. There was someone else here. The voice wasn't cheery like the unnecessarily happy one. It was shaky and unsure. Definitely the aquapath.
"Oh thank god. Listen, kid. Do you know where we are?" She inquired, making a conscious effort to soften her voice. Listening for a response, she checked her person. She managed to wedge her stump arm in the metal flap to keep it open. She grasped her silver locket, surprisingly still around her neck. Unfortunately, her phone and the strange vial were missing.
"Damn it!" She blurted out, not meaning to sound desperate or worried. Vera switched her arms back, as the position was tiring.
James "Jamie" Marianum
Bad. Everything felt bad. He could feel his muscles aching before he even regained consciousness.
Jamie awoke to his body already sitting upright. Disoriented, he glanced around his room. He gained an odd sense of familiarity and security. However, the illusion was shattered when his mind cleared.
Muffled shouting leaked into Jamie's room. He crawled along the cold floor, wondering if he was on the floor to begin with. He reached the door and fumbled with the metal flap.
"S'anyone thhhere?" He slurred. His tongue felt foreign in his mouth.

((No no, your fine ( U w U ) I sometimes take forever, and need a kick in the azz to get going again.))
Happy that the women wasn't screaming at them again, they easily responded to her. "No...... they didn't say anything about this. Just dropped me off to that location and an order to keep you guys there..."
They felt like it was pointless hiding there task now, since it seems they wouldn't be seeing the twins anytime soon. Suddenly they thought they heard a noise, but it sounded muffled and strange. "Did you hear that?" They softly asked the lady.
Val straightened his fake glasses with their mini camera hidden in them, as he followed the sniveling little man of Castro Corp. The little man seemed excited to entertain him once he was flashed a bit of money.
"So as I was saying. We just got 3 new test subjects. One has been examined and shows promise to be a part of the defense unit."
Val barely paid attention to the mans words, and instead looked about where they walked. Allowing his twin to see what he saw through his glasses. "Hey...... Where are the new merchandize?"
The man blinked and then nodded his head vigorously while grinning. "Oh yes, right this way sir. We don't know what the other two are yet, but the one we deemed fit for defense is interesting. They seem to produce spikes out of their body! Truly a spectacular sight to behold."
As the man finished his spiel, he brought Val to a corridor of white doors with small barred windows. Walking slowly down the hall, he peered into the room with a wild looking women. It was the same one that was giving them trouble earlier, he noted silently.

Vera Piui Hato
"Shh!" Vera commanded as she backed away from the door. The sound of footsteps were getting closer. She stood up, ready to fight anyone and everyone. Slowly, agonizingly slowly, a figure walked past the tiny window. She was a short woman, so normal people towered over her, but this man was a giant.
"Hey tall, d0uche, and pastey!" She antagonized, "I want my goddamned arm back!" Vera glared the man dead in the eyes, sending every amount of hatred she could muster. She lunged towards the door and pressed her forehead against it. She wanted to get as 'in his face' as possible.
"You f#cking piece of scum," she spat. Vera knew this was no way to get her arm back. She didn't even need it that much. What she did need was information. She needed to know what kind of people ran this place. If she could get him taking long enough, she might find out their plan for her. Then she'd be able to make a plan.
Vera stood her ground. She had to show this dillweed she wasn't afraid of anything. Having no idea of who this guy was didn't matter. He seemed important to the a$$-kisser in the labcoat, so he was an enemy to her. Besides, he looked like he was high up the foodchain. She'd be able to get something out of him at least.
James "Jamie" Marianum
He heard a commotion right outside his door. Most of it being the woman's yelling. He dragged himself on his feet. His legs throbbed under his weight. Jamie peeked out his window, careful to be unnoticed.
Right across from him was a tall, pale man. He had a frightful energy about him. Jamie had always been told to trust his instincts, and all his instincts were screaming run. He swallowed hard, silently observing the situation. A short man with glasses was in front of him, looking offended on the tall one's behalf. The adjacent cell had the barely visible face of Quinn in the window.
He gave a little wave, a slight twist of his wrist, just enough to get their attention. Jamie felt a need to communicate a message, but he didn't know what. They both shouldn't hide; the lady could be in trouble. They couldn't do anything trapped in their rooms, but they couldn't just sit there and watch. Then again, this man was bad news for everyone. Jamie didn't know if it was better to be a witness or to hide.

I'm here for you CosmicSymbols! Lol, let's party.
Quinn started to physically shake when they saw Val walking the halls. They tried to make themselves as small and insignificant as possible from Val's sight. They knew they should have tried to help the women out, but they didn't want to be more involved with the twins plans then need be.
From the corner of their eye, they saw James waving to them, but they didn't want to acknowledge him. The twins scared Quinn to their very bones, if they could be forgotten by the twins for even a moment then that would be a blessing. Yet they felt bad since it was their fault these two people where here.
"Uhhh... Sir. C-can you te-te-tell us what w-we are doing here......... pl-please?" They softly squeaked out while looking everywhere but Val's face. Quickly they glanced at James and tried not to break down as Val came over to them.
Val took his time before looking at the barbaric shouting coming from behind him. He glanced at the cell holding Quinn and saw them pale in horror for the women, finding it rather amusing they still worried for others.
Finally looking at the women, he heard Ann in his earpiece suck on her teeth sharply before chuckling darkly. She will be fun to play with brother. Was all she said before going silent again.
He had to agree with his sister, it had been quite awhile since they played with anyone with such spirit. Quinn broke so easily in the beginning, once I a while they show some fire, but it dies quickly.
The little man that was escorting him about immediately paled at the women's words before turning a dark meaty red. "Why you insolent wenc-" The man's little fit of rage was cut short as Val held up one hand to him.
Brushing the man to the side, Val walked up to the women's cell and peered down at her. Finding it amusing such a small thing dared to snap at him. Roaming his eyes over her like he was examining some beast for sale, he finally looked at her face with cold sadist eyes. "You are just adorable.... even if you do come already damaged. We will enjoy playing with you when the time is right." With unexpected swiftness, he reached up and ripped a few strands of her hair out. Smelling them while watching her and smiling. "A souvenir." Was all he said before moving away, completely ending any further talk between them.
Really he had plans to use her hair to learn more about her backgrounds, but it was fun trying to creep her out. Which his twin seemed to agree on as she giggled away in his ear. Hearing Quinn's tentative voice calling out to him, he turned toward them. Already a mean little smirk playing on his lips. "Hello pet." He sneered out while strolling closer.

Jamie swiftly put his hand down as to avoid more embarrassment. Jamie was sure Quinn saw him, but they didn't do anything. Jamie wondered if Quinn knew something that he didn't. Well, of course they did. Jamie had been on a blind journey from start to finish. Every bad thing that had happened to him was a direct result of his own impulsiveness. He still wanted to trust people, especially Quinn, as he knew kind-hearted people existed. Martha was just one example.
Martha...
Mom...
Dad...
Jamie felt tears welling in his eyes as he thought of the possibility of never seeing them again.
"No," he whispered, finding his resolve once more. He would get out of here, he would see his family again, but most importantly, he would come back stronger. He wasn't going to let himself be broken. Jamie vowed there and then to never give these people the satisfaction of ruining his view on humanity.
He glanced one more at Quinn who seemed like they were about to cry. He understood the feeling. That man was veritably unnerving. Even though Jamie had yet to see the man's face, he had a feeling this man was the embodiment of evil.
"Umm, excuse me, sir?" Jamie called out to him. He tried to pretend he was meek and frail, but he didn't need to act. His voice wavered with uncertainty. "C-can we please know why we're here? Will you spare us that much?" Jamie's strength in his legs returned, but they still couldn't support his weight. They were shaking so much Jamie could practically hear his knees clacking together.
Vera Piui Hato
Vera suppressed the urge to shudder as the man indirectly violated her. Her face remained stone cold as he sauntered to his next victim.
"At least buy me dinner first jacka$$!!" She retorted. She wanted to scream. She didn't feel scared or intimidated. She felt furious. Wrong. She held it inside herself. No good would come from letting him know he got to her. Instead, Vera grinded her teeth.
Unfortunately, a bout of anger rose again. With no outlet and a need to fight, Vera slammed her fist against the wall. Pain instantly raced up her arm. She let out a soft groan, pulling, almost peeling, her hand away from the wall. She left a decent sized crack just bigger than her fist.
Dust fluttered from her glove as she tried to move her hand. Her pinky finger couldn't even move without causing immense pain. Vera took her glove off as soon as she saw blood trickle out of it. Putting the wrist end to her mouth, she shakily pulled it off.
What she saw was a mess. Roots of her blooms were unearthed, the blooms themselves looked like they'd been trampled by elephants, and her knuckles were covered in red with white speckles. She didn't even want to think about what those were. Vera crouched down, cuddling her hand in her short arm's elbow.
"Oh that a$$hole's gonna pay. Damaged my a$$! He's gonna eat his words when I'm outa here. If only I could've got him talking a little longer. All I could get from him is that he's a huge d!ck." She winced as she tried to move her fingers. They were almost feeling... better? "Wait... didn't he say something about a plan? Of course these science freaks got a plan, but what about him? He's not taking this seriously at all, like the outcome of whatever this is doesn't affect him. He's gotta be up to something. I better get closer."
Vera scooched closer to the door. She pressed her ear against the metal door. Unbeknownst to her, Vera's hand slowly reformed. She only noticed when her fingers twitched and there was no pain. She brought her hand close to her face, inspecting the fresh skin. The blooms, unfortunately, looked more healthy than ever before.
"Well this is new..." She muttered, still staring at the back of her hand in disgust.

Quinn wasn't trying to be brave by not moving as Val closed in on them, its just that their feet were stuck and weren't budging an inch no matter what they did. Val seemed to lean into the room and dampen the light inside the room as he looked down at Quinn.
"You will see soon enough...." Val softly hissed just for Quinn to hear. Quinn was desperate to get answers and did something they haven't done since the beginning of the twins training; they reached out and grabbed Val's shirt.
The tall man slowly turned and looked at Quinn's hand and then the kids face. "I see someone need to be reeducated." Smacking the hand away, he turned to the fat little man, when another voice caught his attention. Seeing another that almost reminded him of Quinn before he and Ann "fixed" him, Val strutted to him and looked down at the shaking boy. "Why? Simply because I want it so."
Ann cackled loudly while gasping out how that was a complete fat lie and laughing even harder. Ignoring his twins taunting, he left the mess of future experiments and looked to the little man. "I want all three pitted, and the female examined even further after the matches...... if she lives."
The little man rubbed his hands together slowly and greedily. "Of course...... just need some fundi-" He was cut off by Val as he nodded his consent and walked out the room. Leaving Quinn just short of a hyperventilation attack, and the others to think.

James "Jamie" Marianum
Jamie watched in stunned awe as the man completely ignored him and proceeded to hit Quinn. After the man left his line of sight, Jamie was able to snap out of his trance.
"Quinn! Quinn! Are you okay?" Jamie cried as he threw himself against the door. His attention trailed to the direction the tall man walked away in. "Who is was that guy?" He absentmindedly thought aloud. Jamie's eyes snapped back to Quinn, who looked like they were about to pass out.
Jamie's heart ached with sympathy for Quinn. Not even an Oscar winner could hide the amount of worry in his face.
Vera Piui Hato
"...If she lives." Vera froze. What did she just get herself into? She shook her head. Like hell she'd die here. She vowed right there and then to survive whatever they threw at her. Vera would never let them get the satisfaction. She would come out on top. Muffled voices started back up again, so she returned to the window to get a better look.
"Of course...... just need some fundi-" The little man's prattling was cut off by D!ck Jerky.
"So he's throwing money around like it's worthless. He's definitely high on the food chain... Examined? Is that what they did to anime boy? Hell no. There is no way I'm letting that happen."
She glanced to Spikey, of whom was thoroughly freaking out.
"What's going on? What happened?" She demanded, albeit less bossy and more wanting to be informed.
