Firestar~Thunderclan Leader~She-cat
Firestar climbed over a hill, stopping at the top to see Four Trees. They were the first to arrive. Firestar had chosen to bring Larkcry her deputy, Primrosesong the Thunderclan Medicine Cat, Fawnstep, Oaktail, Flintdust, Lemonnose all warriors, and Firestars apprentice Palepaw. Firestar looked over to her apprentice. This was her first gathering.

With a flick of her tail Firestar signaled to her clan mates. They began to move closer to Four Trees. As they entered the sacred gathering place Firestar turned to her apprentice. "Palepaw. I understand this is your first gathering, but there will be no excuses. You will not fight anyone from another clan. Understand me?" Firestar mewed sternly, but gave the apprentice a small smile.

The beautiful young she-cat padded beside Firestar, her tail held high. ``I'm excited about gathering.`` She meowed looking at Firestar. I'll even get to see whats going on in the other clans! As they padded through the quickly thinning forest she could see the meeting place, many cats sit there talking.

Creekstar-Riverclan Leader

Pinging: @werewolfjedi @SwootleDootle @lilMama @starlydoll

Creekstar climbed the hill, standing on the peak. She looked to her party. The members of her party consisted of her apprentice Troutpaw, Her deputy Ravenwillow, Littlecreak, Runningstream and her apprentice Pikepaw, and their Medicine Cat Illusiveheart. "As we have our apprentices joining us for the first time, I will go over the most important rule." she swept her gaze over the crowd "No Fighting Other Cats.

The she cat decended from the crest of the hill with pride and purpose.

Flintdust-Thunderclan Warrior

Flintdust glanced around the area. The other three clans were trickling into fourtrees. He nodded to his leader, but ultimately did not want to be at the gathering. He wanted to be with his mate, and his kits, not worrying about them.

Aspenstep - WindClan Deputy

@starlydoll

The moon was high in the sky when WindClan arrived. Aspenstep kept pace beside his leader, head held high with pride even though he was obviously thinner than he was at the last gathering. He gave a respectful nod to Mothstar, moving to sit in his usual spot when he came to Fourtrees.

He’d been deputy of WindClan for a few moons now, but still it felt odd to have to be careful with his words, to have to walk with a sense of balance and strength so that he could make a good impression on the other deputies and leaders. If they knew that in fact prey had been starting to dramatically thin out on the moor, they may decide to take advantage of that. Even if his legs felt somewhat weaker than usual and his ribs were starting to show, he had to show that his Clan was still strong.

Swiftpaw - WindClan Apprentice

@starlydoll

Swiftpaw, WindClan’s only apprentice as of no more than half a moon ago, was excited. Her first gathering, and she was excited to meet the cats of the other Clans and see what she would be up against if there was ever a battle. Honestly, she was also eager to show her Clan that she could be strong and professional, even if she hated idle chit-chat.

She’d been trotting to keep up with Foxtail, her mentor, and she looked up at the dark red she-cat. “I’m so ready.” She boasted. “I’m going to size up the warriors, and put down the other apprentices. Every cat will know not to mess with WindClan with me here!”

But as they arrived, she somewhat lost her determination, deflating and looking around wide-eyed. There were so many cats, some large and intimidating and some small, but still every cat looked to be a force to reckon with.

“Um …” She breathed awkwardly, struggling to regain her confidence.

Sootpaw - ShadowClan Medicine Cat Apprentice

@NickelDragons

This wasn’t Sootpaw’s first time at a gathering, but it was his first time as a medicine cat apprentice. Would it make a difference? Would cats he knew, apprentices and warriors in other Clans, have a different opinion of him.

Before too long ago, he’d been training with a warrior mentor, but he didn’t have the motivation or interest in it. Sparrowpaw, who had already been an apprentice for three moons before Sootpaw joined him, was likely able to tell pretty quickly that Sootpaw wasn’t cut out for it.

And more than that, Sootpaw had started to become interested in Badgerwhisper’s work. Everything the she-cat would do, Sootpaw wanted to be there to see, whether it was an upset tummy or bandaging a wound. Maybe it was his interest, or maybe Badgerwhisper had gotten a sign, but no matter what the reason, Sootpaw was happy to be where he was now, learning to help his Clan in a way that he enjoyed.

As they arrived, he stuck close to his mentor, too shy and nervous to approach anyone. Besides, Badgerwhisper would likely join up with the other medicine cats, and there was surely something they could all talk about!

Ravenwillow - RiverClan Deputy

@NickelDragons

They were descending the hill to Fourtrees when Ravenwillow trotted up to match pace with the smaller gray she-cat who was her leader, Creekstar. “Are you going to mention the river?” She asked. In the past few days, the river had begun to show signs of freezing over. The first snowfall hadn’t even come yet, but the nights were frigid and often the river was filled with chunks of ice come morning.

Soon it would be hard to use the river for the fish that RiverClan relied heavily on. Some leafbares, it wasn’t that bad and the river could still be fished from, but the early onset of the cold and frost indicated it was going to be a long, hard leafbare ahead.

“The other Clans may get ideas.” She added warily, then glanced back at the warriors and apprentices that were following them. They were well-fed still, but that would stop as soon as the river became unsafe to fish from.

Pikepaw - RiverClan Apprentice

@werewolfjedi

Bouncing along beside his sibling, Pikepaw’s fur was wild with excitement. They were getting older, and had been training for five moons as apprentices now. Soon they would be warriors, and they’d have freedom to do what they wanted, when they wanted, and the warriors from the other Clans would look at them with respect.

“Maybe by the next gathering we’ll be warriors!” He exclaimed to Troutpaw. “I mean, it’s a long shot, but maybe if we train real hard!” His sandy brown tabby fur was puffed up in excitement, though it didn’t occur to him that he was looking and acting like an excited kit.

Oaktail
Oaktail kept his eyes and ears forward as he strode along with the rest of the Thunderclan warriors. He stayed towards the middle of the group, his tail low behind him and his bright blue eyes scanning the fourtrees grove as it grew closer. His mouth hung partially open, drinking in the many scents of unfamiliar cats as they slowly gathered in the peaceful opening, relishing in the information that assaulted the scentglands on the roof of his mouth. Occasionally, these gatherings made hi mfeel self conscious- he wasn't as large or powerful looking as many of the other clan's warriors, but he knew good and well that he could hold his own in a fight against any of them. Still, he felt far too aware of himself when they approached the fourtrees gathering.

Cautiously, his ears twitched as they picked out the warriors that were slowly gathering- some he could pick out, some he knew by heart and name as if they were old friends. He could easily drink in the smell of riverclan cats, picking out Creekstar and his old silver pelted friend- his clumsy gait was enough to give him away, let alone his smell. He concealed a smile at the thought of the oversized, klunky tom tripping over his tail or paws and tumbling down the hill. The friendship was well known, but it was also known that he wouldn't hesitate to take the cat's life if the clan depended on it. Still, Oaktail had almost been caught on a few occasions speaking with the silver pelted tom across the river when they crossed paths. No sense in useless hostility, he always thought.

Shaking his distractions, Oaktail lifted his head once more and continued to follow Firestar down into the fourtrees valley, drinking in the unfamiliar scents of new cats or apprentices that were coming to the gathering for the first time.

Runningstream
Runningstream wore a smile as he followed close to Creekstar towards the front of the small group- he knew his place, and dared not trek past the leader, her deputy, or the medicine cat, but he did like to be at the forefront of things both due to his large size making Riverclan look far more powerful, and the fact that he enjoyed taking in the scenery as soon as possible. It was known that Runningstreem was a hopeless romantic at times, everything bringing a warm smile to his face. His whispy tail was held high, swaying to and fro as they walked forward as his scent glands greedily took in all of the smells of the clan cats as they gathered far below. He really enjoyed the gatherings, and as a peacekeeper he was often welcomed- especially when fights were known to break out over the dumbest things.

Creekstar's words rang in his head- no fighting other cats! He chuckled to himself- not like he could have that problem, but he knew others did. Shaking the thought, Runningstream was quick to follow the sequence down the hill and into the grove of fourtrees. It brought him a feeling of excitement and peace whenever the gatherings were held. His eyes sparkled as he observed everyone, waiting for the word from his leader to allow the group to split off and commune with the other clans.

Thornstar - Shadowclan Leader

Even with her clan nearby, and the buzzing energy of her apprentice and fellow warriors, something within Thornstar still left her incredibly exhausted. Later on she would need to speak to Badgerwhisper or Sootpaw about something to help her sleep, or prevent an oncoming illness. It was certainly nothing serious, but the low energy was enough to cause a noticeable difference in the noble leader.

A glance over her shoulder met her apprentice, and a warning look was shot as the others began to mingle with friends from other clans. It was a combination of a glare and a warning look, tail swishing in the grass.

"Sparrowpaw, I don't want another repeat of last Gathering. Behave yourself, or you'll be gathering herbs with Badgerwhisper and cleaning the elders den until you're a warrior. Have I made myself clear?"

Primrosesong - Thunderclan Medicine-Cat

A small sigh of relief washed over the dainty she-cat when she noticed they had been the first to arrive for the gathering, meaning she wouldn't have to dodge around others to get to the perch she'd meet the other Medicine-Cat's. Steadily she made her way across the clearing, a small purr and a twitch of her whiskers at the conversation between Firestar and Palepaw. Her head was held high, quite proud of the speed she was making. By the time she was comfortable, however, other cats from other clans began to fill in.

When she recognized Sootpaw, a small mewl was given to call him over. Certainly his mentor would be joining him soon enough but, for now they could just talk. Medicine-cats were always quite friendly with each other, it was best the little one got familiar with the rest of them.

Troutpaw - Riverclan Apprentice

The wide eyed tom trailed behind his mentor, still in shock that he was picked by Creekstar to be her apprentice over his littermate. While he wasn't falling behind by any means, he wanted to keep light conversation with his brother. After all, this was their very first gathering. It was something they were going to remember forever, and something they were always going to share. His fur was a little fluffed out from the excitement, and his energy reflected in his voice.

"Maybe, if we're super lucky!" He mewled, bouncing around a bit as they came close and closer to meeting the other Clan cats. "Wouldn't it be so cool to be announced as warriors at our second ever gathering? That would be something to remember for forever!"

Sootpaw - ShadowClan Medicine Cat Apprentice

@werewolfjedi

Hearing Primrosesong call him over, Sootpaw slowly separated from his mentor's side to trot over and climb up to the perch that the pale yellow she-cat was seated upon. As he got up there, he sat down, giving a shy nod to the ThunderClan medicine cat he had met only once -- at the last half-moon which was also his first.

"Hello, Primrosesong." He meowed in greeting. "ThunderClan was first to arrive today." His eyes scanned the other warriors in the clearing, then looked back to the medicine cat. "How are you? Is ThunderClan well?"

Pikepaw - RiverClan Apprentice

"Wow, that would be so incredible!" Pikepaw exclaimed, already imagining what it would be like to be announced as a warrior at his second-ever gathering. "We just have to try really, really hard! And I guess we have to make a good impression this gathering."

Turning his head, he looked over to Runningstream, his mentor. He loved the older tom. Runningstream was strong and wise, and very patient; a great mentor, honestly! "What are we supposed to do at gatherings, anyway?" He asked. "Do we just ... sit and listen? 'Cause that sounds boring."

He tossed a glance at Troutpaw, who he knew would agree with him.
