Whilst following their own separate paths in the Viridian Labyrinth, Foxstar and Lumen quickly find themselves in danger. Chased by a molten wartoad through a thunderstorm, the only way to escape was to enter the overgrown ruins of a large castle. It looks like the giant thorny vines grew right through the castle itself.
Upon entering the castle, Lumen and Foxstar encounter a guardian male, who tells them of the danger they're in. He said the best chance of them surviving was if the discovered the secret of what happened there long ago, and gave them a lamp, a necklace and a ice pick, then disappeared. Seconds after he left, a small fae by the name of Sparrow stumbled across the two pearlcatchers. After introductions, the three entered the Main Hall.
With the floor boards by the entrance rotten with holes, the three dragons flew over the breach. They found three thrones, the smallest clawed, and a painting of a group of dragons, labeled Arsar + Dyra. After a run-in with a dangerous familiar, the dragons left the Main Hall.
After heading right towards the West Wing, the dragons find themselves face to face with an apparition, which emits a chilling laugh. Spooked, the three fled into the Kitchen.
In the kitchen they found 7 skeletons, one fresher than the others. All the older ones had very deep nicks and scratches in the bone, but with the newest it was impossible to tell what killed them. On the wall were the words "YOU ANSWER TO ME" written in what appeared to be ancient blood. In a cupboard there was a book that appeared to be a diary, and on the bench a log book.
As Sparrow remained upstairs and held onto the log book, Foxstar and Lumen descended into the Larder. Down there they discovered shelves coated with rotting food, but some was still edible. Down there they found a pearlcatcher named Carose, who had also been trapped in the castle for some time. After Sparrow came down and joined them, they went through the hole in the wall and found them in darkness....

Foxstar once wandered the Viridian Labyrinth alone, and still isn't entirely comfortably being around dragons. Wary, cautious, brave and stubborn. Kitsune subspecies, she has a fox-like body with wings and a pearlcatcher horn as well as four tails with which she holds her pearl.

Lumen only remembers the recent parts of his life due to a terrible accident. This means he is often afraid, wary and unsure of other dragons, scared he knew them in his past. Lumen is otherwise courageous, enthusiastic, talkative and a quick, creative thinker. Due to the accident, his name was lost. He called himself Lumen, translating to 'the light' because he thinks so highly of himself.
