Orb did look truly happy. The butterflies swarmed around him and then rested on his face face. Orb was surprised by this but giggled like a little girl Intel he fell over laughing. Lavender squealed at this and ran over to her father and climbed on top of his head to get a better view. Symphony agreed. "Your right we'll stay a bit longer."

Upon hearing this, Jolly jumped and bounced all about, chirping all the while. Flare wondered briefly how long his brother would be able to chirp at all. Later in life, Jolly would be able to mimic any bird call at all, unbeknownst to his brother. Jolly would be chirping for the rest on his life. Pale sighed, he knew he might be here for a while, so he went ahead and went to sleep.

Feeling the little pats, Flare looked up to his daughter, wondering what she wanted. The apples in his wings weighed them down, but it didn't bother him. They shone beautifully in the rays of sunlight that poured down from the apple tree leaves. It lit his shining gold and yellow scales up as well. Flare was just a brilliant bright yellow and red mass from a distance.

Flare stood up when the dragnets finally got tired or stopped playing, "Now would be a good time to head back." He smiled at Symphony as he picked up Orb and placed him on her back. He then called for Jolly, the only dragonet who had not calmed down, to walk home with them.

Symphony nodded in agreement and started down the path. When they got home Orb went right back to practicing making butterflies on a stone not wanting to use up all the precious paper. Lavender took interest in her brother wanting to read so she made her mother read to her.

Pale had woken up when they got home and jumped off of his mother. While his sister had their mother read to her, he got Flare to teach him to read again. Flare sighed, but understood how desperate his son was to learn, so he went with it. Jolly just goofed off and did crazy nonsense things like play with bones he found in the storage cavern and found ways to attach these bones to himself.
