(Just a reflection piece. A review of sorts.)
Robinheart looked grim as she watched the three go. She was worried for them, but she knew that most of her worry was misplaced. Dunefoot was a capable warrior, and Robinheart knew her strength was quite strong and yet so easily controlled. A testment to the older shecat's moons no doubt.
Sandstream was a tad bit younger than herself, 8 moons younger, and was quite the protector. They seemed to be strong, but did not have as much of the control that the previously mentioned cat did.
Lastly was beandrop. The she seemed extremely capable during hunting prey, but she was unsure about fighting. Only two years behind Robinheart, the she seemed to let her energy get the better of her. But as the moons went on, she could prove to be a great hunter.
Robinheart shook her head, hearing the commotion of the keepers den and sighing. "Today is a day full of energy." Pausing before she grumbled "Now to wake those apprentices"

Kawapaw awoke lazily, blinking to get used to the light. Oh, it was morning again! Hopefully Acornstem was okay... He should be! The other cats must've taken good care of him. Kawapaw bounded out of the den, looking around. There was Pebblespine, and Fawnpad, and oh- Acornstem! He was fine. Kawapaw relaxed, pawing over to the freshkill pile.
Hm... I wonder about the coyotes. Kawapaw cheerfully tore through a bird. Chances are, the warriors will keep the information from us apprentices. Kawapaw's eyes darkened for a split second, before he returned to the bird. Yet something doesn't feel right...

Dunefoot's tail twitched, and she nodded. "If everyone is ready... We can leave camp as soon as possible." She turned to Beandrop, then Sandstream. "Are you two ready? We have time to do anything else you might need to before we go. Unless you're both ready... then we can head out." She flexed her claws, clearly impatient to leave.

Riverpaw groaned as she woke up. The mid-morning sun hit her eyes in a way she did not like. Slightly grouchy, the female rolled out of bed. Walking outside, she heard the different voices. Acornstem, thank god, pebblespine, fawnpad, and dunefoot all were present. The she let out a sigh of relief as the clan seemingly was normal.
The apprentice padded over to the pile, and retrieved a mouse for her brunch. Seeing Kawapaw, she sat down next to him and with a tired "hello" began eating her food. Riverpaw, when she didn't have anything in the morning, was a tired grumpy mess.

"Oh, hi Riverpaw!" Kawapaw chirped, oblivious to the fact that Riverpaw was NOT a morning kitty. "Have the other apprentices woken up yet?" Kawapaw asked, finishing the last of his mouse. A drop of blood stained his pristine white fur, and Kawapaw frowned. He typically liked to be clean.
"I'm glad Acornstem's okay." Kawapaw said aloud, mainly to himself. It was strange, to see Acornstem hurt and on the grass. It wasn't right; He was the medicine cat, not a guard!

"Oh, hi Cactuspaw!" Kawapaw chimed. "Come get something to eat!" He encouraged, motioning down at the freshkill pile that was high stocked. The owl was gone, and Kawapaw internally frowned, pitying the poor cat that had to taste that. It was an achievement to see it in the pile, sure, but the taste... Was lack-luster.
"As for the mentors and coyotes... For one, we just started eating." Kawapaw glanced back. "And for two, I think Sleekfoot's planning something." He noted, watchign her brisk pace and the way she looked at the apprentices.
"But don't talk that much about the coyotes. They don't know that we know; As far as they're concerned, ignorance is bliss." Kawapaw promptly informed his fellow clanmates. He made no effort to emphasize on who 'they' was, but it was pretty obvious.
