Sans looked at the mirror with a mixture of curiosity and respect. He, himself, had seen much worse in his time, and flesh wounds were nothing new to him, the other two, however, didn't have as strong a stomach for such things. It took a moment for them to process what they were seeing, but, once they did, their first thought was how. Papyrus then wondered how a wound such as that had been inflicted, and by what. Tech didnt have the luxury, and all his willpower was devoted to not losing his meal.

"Makes sense." Sans said, unchanged by the grotesque visual. "How would you perfer we set thst in stone. As I am sure you know, talk is cheap, and, even with witnesses, it is easily manipulated."

Her true appearance had incited some kind of discomfort in at least two of them, and what she took to be awe in their leader. Appropriate responses. Pleased with their reactions, and delighted with the Skydancer patriarch's attitude toward her demand proposal, she smiled in agreement-- although it appeared more like a sneer due to how her face was twisted. This diplomatic success would definitely double, no, triple the sacrifices to be made later to the Filthy One before slumber; surely this clan had been sent to them as a sign of goodwill by the Plaguebringer, after all!

Well, I'll be, Kakkab thought, amused by the horrified expressions the two dragons had on their faces. "Don't you folks worry, it isn't contagious or anything." He roared in laughter. For the Fae, he was only relieved and glad that the Skydancer had been quick to accept the notion of an alliance. "Indeed. How should we solidify such an undertaking?" he asked, as Kerrigan replaced the mask.

((There used to be this thing called a Blood Compact waaaay back in the 1800s. Basically, the relevant parties (i.e. leaders and reps) cut their palms, let some of the blood drip into a cup, and the participants basically drink each other's blood from the cups in order to signify brotherhood or being equals, in a sense. But, I do imagine that Plague dragon blood is riddled with dormant (sometimes active) vectors of disease, though... just a little bit would probably, at best, give your dergs a bit of a cold and some susceptibility to catching other illnesses :x drinking each other's blood might not be such a healthy exercise.

Alternatively, if we send each other regular ambassadors, this'll allow me to introduce one of my canon Lightning dergs, Rarity Deinomache. Kerrigan values all of her kids highly, so it's almost as good as sending a hostage over to your clan for goodwill or something lmao.))

(I have a plauge derg, that is also a healer. I think I would be ok, but alas, you are correct. I probabpy isnt the most hygenic of practices. XD

That was my initail thought. It would also give us a chance to maybe establish a few relationships, maybe? One derg from each lair spends a set amount of time in the other before going home. Say, one derg spends a few weeks out of each season?"

((Yes, I think that ought to work. I'm tempted to send over my MLP fandragon over, but I don't consider her as included in my clan lore hahaha))

(Back in character then.)

"Well," sans said after a moment(and a quick glance at his companions). "There are many ways, but it is a tradition amongst my forebears to set up a embassy of sorts. One dragon from either clan stays with the other for the space of three weeks out of every season. If this...ambassador is harmed by malicious intent, or they do fail to check in, then the alliance is forfit. Missing anything?" He asked, looking over at his mirror companion, who thought for a moment before shaking his head.

"Then the terms are set. " sans said, turning back to the fae. "What do you say?"

Beside the Fae, the Mirror smirked. "We accept," Levi answered, with a nod. "It is understood that should a scale on either of our representatives be harmed, then it would be akin to such a nullification. I would, then, like to advise you that my Queen looks upon each of the dragons of our Swarm as though they were her very children." Whatever threat Kerrigan intended to pass on went unspoken as the Mirror watched, silent. "Please take utmost care of our spawn; likewise, we will treat the dragons you send as though they were one of our brood." Levi's frills flapped as he spoke in an effort to convey gratitude. The gesture, however might have been lost on any dragon if they were not well-versed with the body language of the Fae. The Fae spoke up, again. "In the spirit of initiative, I would, then, like to introduce you to our one daughter imbued with the Stormcatcher's power." As if on cue, a Wildclaw emerged from one of the doorway-like openings of the cavern and came to stand by Kerrigan. Curious, she stared at each of the new faces. "Her name is Deinomache, and she is both parts a fighter and a lover of the sciences," Leviathan continued. "Honored to meet yo-- oh, that's some interesting gear you've got there!" The Wildclaw broke off and approached Tech, admiring the thingamajigs the Coatl wore. "I've been scrounging for the parts to make doodads like these, you see. I'd like to replicate this technology, but it appears that such equipment can only be forged in your region. Oh, but forgive me, I did forget that we were in some sort of a formal event." It seemed as though the dragon spoke entirely in one breath, and scurried, quick as a whip, back to her place before her adoptive parents could react. Leviathan merely shook his head, and the Mirror butted the Wildclaw-- affectionately, it seemed, albeit roughly. Turning once more to the Skydancer, the Fae spoke. "We can send her with you tonight as you go, or have her brought to your clan by the next night. "

(I never answered your question. yes. it was diana's birth mother that they went to pay respects to.)

After a quick glance back at his companions, papyrus nodding and tech looking somewhat proud of himself(others didnt often compliment his handiwork) sans turned back to the fae. "This is a monumental decision, and I am must decide on our own ambassador. Give us, shall we say, two days. Then, send an envoy that shall deliver your ambassador, and escort our own."

((... oooooohhh daaaang. no wonder Diana was such an angry derg and Undyne was very eager to fight.))

The Fae bowed again in response. "By all means. We will eagerly wait for your ambassador's arrival." Turning towards the Overlord and Matriarch, the Ridgeback asked for their leave. "I'll go on ahead and prep the extra quarters." At the nod of Levi, off Kakkab went, from the hall through which he'd entered.

Deinomache almost appeared relieved, but a little disappointed too; she really was looking forward to seeing the technology of her homeland. At least it's some more time with Sinag, she thought.
