This is the dragon I'm going to use? Except she's gonna be a boy in this instance.
His hair is to his ears, and wavy. The color is a light gray. He can't seem to do anything with it on a good day. Bad day? It looks like an afro! Its so bad, that you can usually see the tiny green horns poke out from his hair. His skin is pale, almost blueish. His eyes a deep blue, with streaks of dark green in them. Dark circles surround his eyes from lack of sleep. He's a little chubby, definitely not "in shape". He has a bit of pudge here and there. But, if he has to run, he will. He just doesn't like to. He hates sweating. Summer is the worst for him. He's about 5 1". Weird tribal tatoos dot his entire being, the bright blue-green-pink eye catching. He always has his nails painted a bright blue. Carries an old camera around. Always in comfy clothing. What's the use when you don't see many trainers?
Okay. So. This dudes a bit weird. He's an insomniac named after the goddess of sleep ironically. He's quiet, and unsociable. But he's realized he needs to talk with other being besides his pokemon lol.

I can imagine Wolfgang as sort of edge lord a young man with blood red hair that probably reaches to his neck (so...I guess anime hair). His eyes appear auburn, like a mix of dark brown and red, and he has a fairly athletic (or healthy and in shape I suppose?) build from walking around a lot and stuff. His outfit will probably consist of reds, whites, and blacks. Like, a jacket with a dark undershirt probably. He basically looks like a very serious trainer, and is typically calm and calculating in battles but he can get infuriated if his Pokemon mess up or something. He's pretty strict with them.
I don't think this guy is much of a socialite either, but I don't think he minds company, and he'd probably debate for hours about strategic battling. He's in this to win and beat everyone else, but hasn't really thought of what he'd do afterward. He's not very good at relaxing or letting himself enjoy the world and stuff.

((Alright, this is the thread. You'll have to forgive me if the starters not good... I haven't RPd in such a long time...))
Phem yawned, moving his arm from in front of his eyes and immediately wincing. The sun was BRIGHT. Shielding them slightly with his hand again, he tried to move, only to be pinned down by multiple weights. *sigh*. He knew it was a bad idea to sleep under a berry tree! Looking down, he saw a few Rattatas covering his legs, two Pichus pinning his left arm down, and a Happiny nestled in his right. Around his neck twined a Yungoos, snoring softly. "Ugh" he thought, dreading waking them. They all seemed so peaceful... But he had wanted to go check out the new guy. Sighing again, he gently started to extract himself, whispering apologise to the ones that complained with wimpers. The Yungoos popped one eye open at him, staring curiously. He knew the boy didn't quit napping for unimportant reasons. "Ah, go back to sleep" he said, not wanting to drag everyone with him "I'll be back in a bit".
Getting up finally, he brushed the dirt and debris from himself, picking leaves and grass out of his hair. He really just needed to cut it all off, but was to lazy to. Walking down the trail to the new comers house, he nodded at the multiple Pokémon that drifted out of the grass to greet him. Living on the island had given him an affinity for them, and they seemed to treat him like one of their own. His parents had died of a freak Tauros stampede, so he had been raised by practically everyone, especially the kahuna here. He was like a grandfather to him. But the Pokémon felt like his real family. Reaching the new ones house, he crouched in the tall grass near by, waiting for him to arrive or come out of the house.
((Okay.... I hope this is okay! Whew. Haven't done this in forever lol))

Wolfgang wished that Alola had snow, because right now the temperature was making him irritable and not wanting to leave the house. Coming from the much colder region of Sinnoh, Alola in contrast was like living in an oven. He knew that his parents wanted to move here because they had saved enough money to retire and all that, but he had no idea why
here of all places. Why not Unova? At least it wasn't scorching hot there or something. But no, it had to be Alola.
Well, on the possible bright side, it was a completely new region to explore. Wolfgang had never been to Kanto or Johto, but he heard that this place had received a lot of influence from them. There were also many new species here that he had never heard before, so that was exciting. Wolfgang had traveled around both Sinnoh and Unova in the past couple of years, battling and trying to grow stronger, but he had never gone past the Elite Four, and that frustrated him. The Pokemon he had trained with him were now scattered--some of them released (because it seemed evident that both the Pokemon and he wanted to part ways), others with relatives back in Sinnoh. One of them even decided to stay in Sandgem with Professor Rowan to take care of the other Pokemon.
The only one that decided to stay with Wolfgang was a small, young Gible. He was the son of his mighty Garchomp, a strong and stubborn dragon that went back to the wild. Before she left though, she gave Wolfgang one of her eggs as a sort of gift of remembrance or something. He loved that powerful Garchomp, and hoped that her son could surpass her.
After he helped his parents with the move, he was at a bit of a loss. He heard that there were no gyms in Alola, so was there anything here that he could win against? He mulled over it while lying on his bed, soaking the cold air and trying not to think how unbearably hot it was outside. Gible was sitting on his stomach, biting on one of his chew toys.
Eventually he got fed up with just lying down and doing nothing, so he decided that he might as well try to go outside. He tied the jacket around his waist and made sure to wear shorts instead of pants. And then after some more minutes passed, he opened the door and walked outside. He knew that it wouldn't take long for him to start sweating, but at least Gible seemed to enjoy the atmosphere. He looked around, trying to remember where they landed. Wasn't the city to his right? He supposed it wouldn't hurt to follow the dirt pathway.
((Well, not sure if Phem would ambush him or just follow him xD))

((How does this "subscribe" thing work? And, if you can think of anything I'm doing wrong, feel free to point it out! I want to be able to fix things. I won't be offended. I find that sometimes I switch between 1st and 2nd person, and I don't catch that sometimes... Sigh))
Popping a bit out of the grass, Phem cocked his head to the side. "Huh" he said to himself, "I guess he's going to the city?". The city wasn't such a bad place anymore, as they had made space for the pokemon on Alola. But he was pretty sure they didn't do that anywhere else. He wondered if the new kid would be surprised. He didn't look to much older than him, maybe a few years? Phem himself was just 15, a bit late in starting his island challenge. He had been scared to start his, as any pain his Pokémon went through, he seemed to feel himself. Well, he says "his" pokemon, but really it was just one. An overly attached one. The little one had kind of shown up one day, sticking to the boy since he was a child.
Thinking of him seemed to call on the little guy, because in the next moment he felt a soft touch on his arm. Looking over his shoulder, he saw the small Sylveon crouched by him, mimicking Phems head tilt. Trilling softly, he stayed crouched down. He had played hide and seek before, and he knew not to be seen. Laughing softly, Phem whispered "Its okay Syl. Its stalking, not hide and seek!" Which was answered with a small wave of the tiny creatures tail. Curling a feeler around Phems wrist, he tugged him gently forward, following the other human down the path. Of course, keeping a bit of space in between to not look suspicious. Though it was kind of hard not to with a Sylveon tugging a teenage boy along. He wasn't very good at stalking.

There weren't a lot of people down his path, but every now and then he'd pass by some adults who seem to be doing chores (or work? He wasn't sure), but he had yet to see any trainers. That was fine, he thought, since he wasn't sure how well Gible would work out in a battle. He'd wager he was even younger than the starter Pokemon professors normally give out since he hatched on their way to Alola. It might be why he seemed so used to the hot atmosphere.
The small dragon type had noticed the Sylveon and the boy behind them for a while, but wasn't sure if he should alert his trainer or not. At some point, it seemed to be clear that they were keeping an eye on Wolfgang, so Gible tugged on his trainer's pants and let out a small cry. Said young man stopped in his tracks, wondering what was calling his Pokemon's attention. He glanced at the direction Gible was pointing. "What about them? You won't be able to win against that Sylveon, it's a Fairy type." he commented, but then his Pokemon shook his head, implying that was not why he was pointing at them.
Wolfgang furrowed his eyebrows as he glanced at them again. Were they looking at him? He supposed that since he just moved here, it was bound to attract some attention from the other kids or something. A normal person might've tried greeting them, but Wolfgang wasn't really here to make friends. "Let's keep going, Gible. We'll see what they want later if they keep tailing us." And so they kept on walking towards Hau'oli City.

((That is so very neat! Its new, so they must have added it after I went inactive lol. I was wondering when they would fix it XD
Also, the Fairy thing was totally unintentional, I forgot that fairy is super effective against dragon :( just wanted to make sure you didn't think I wanted to one up you. Sylveon is honestly one of my favorite pokemon!))
"Syl, you are horrible at this" Phem said, laughing. "This isn't stalking. This is just poor tailing." Grinning, he crouched down, spotting a Rattata eating a berry nearby "This is stalking" he said, proceeding to make a fool of himself, Sylveon mimicking him. Getting within a few feet of the thing, Phem stopped, gathered himself, and pounced. Of course, he didn't notice the tree he was gonna hit as the stupid thing dodged. Smacking his head, he hit the ground like a sack of potatoes, groaning softly. Sylveon rushed over, a worried look on his face. Running his feelers over Phem, he checked to see if he was hurt anywhere.
Phem pushed the feelers aside, sitting up with another groan. "Well okay, don't do it like that" he said laughing, ruefully rubbing the new formed bruise. He seemed to collect a lot of injuries, seeing as he played with pokemon with claws a lot, and his own klutziness. Getting up and dusting his canvas shorts off, he looked around, wondering if anyone had seen. Shrugging, he thought "Oh well!" And again headed after the boy.
Seeing the city ahead of them, he felt his stomach grumble loudly. He was HUNGRY. Maybe he should forgot about his stalking game, and go to the café. Though he didn't really want the boy to notice him... Waiting till the road widened a bit, he walked past him, making sure not to make eye contact. He didn't know if the other kid had seen him run headlong into a tree, but he didn't want to find out. Sylveon trotted along, trilling a greeting to the two strangers as the went by.

((Yep! It was a recent fix :D
And that's alright, really xD Wolfgang pointed it out because he's a trainer that wants to ensure victory, so he'd definitely consider typing first.))
Wolfgang flinched a little at the sound of something colliding against a hard surface. He instinctively glanced back to see what it was, only for it to be the boy who was tailing them hitting a...a tree? The trainer was kind of concerned, but not so much that he'd rush over to see if the guy was okay. Gible let out a small cry of confusion as well, it seemed, but they continued walking.
That was until the stalker guy went right passed them, trying to pretend that they were completely innocent or something. The Sylveon seemed to wave at them though, to which Gible replied with a curious noise. Wolfgang had actually stopped in his tracks for a bit in surprise, not really sure what they were up to. "Should it be us that's tailing them this time?" he muttered to himself more to anyone else, but his partner seemed to have decided on his own and ran ahead of his trainer. "Hey, Gible! Wait up!"
They were probably only at the city's border when Gible approached Sylveon with an inquisitive look. He had never seen this kind of Pokemon before after all, and the feelers looked like something he wanted to try biting. Some moments later, Wolfgang managed to catch up and picked Gible up from the ground, "Don't just go running off like that, okay? We may be on an island but it's still huge and you could get lost." the Pokemon cried in reply, not really fazed by the scolding.
He let out a sigh before turning his attention to Phem. "Sorry about my Pokemon. He's still young, but I guess I should ask also why you were following us a while ago?"

((Lol, I didn't know how to bring them together, so, I figured klutziness and embarrassment would be a good starter XD
Though it was a bit rushed...
I understand. I'm just saying, fairy in pokemon is suuuuper new to me. Its thrown me off so much its not even funny. Plus, it didn't help I haven't played pokemon in YEARS!))
Phem flinched a bit, not hearing the other boy come up behind him. Turn into looks at him, he cocked his head to the side again "Well, that's kind of a stupid queion isn't it?" He chuckled, twirling Sylveons feeler around his hand and fingers in a nervous gesture "You would be curious about a new person to, wouldn't you?" He finished hesitantly.
Meanwhile, Sylveon was trying to get the attention of the tiny... Lizard? Pokemon in the boys arms. He hadn't seen anything like it either. Trilling shrilly in curiosity, Syl walked up to the other boy, twinning around the other trainers legs. He wanted to climb the other trainer, but knew from past experiences it was considered "Rude"? He had gotten scolded pretty badly for it. The only one he could climb it seemed was Phem, so he limited it to just him.
Sighing, Phem looked down at Sylveon. "I'm sorry. He's kind of... Insistent?" He giggled a bit as the dragon pokemon seemed to have just as much interest in Syl as he had in it. "Though I feel like you may have the same problems as I have with Syl" he grinned slightly, turning towards the city again "Well, since my cover has been blown by my Pokemon's not so great stalking skills, would you like to go with me to the cafe? They have great food!" He said excitedly "Oh, and my name is Phem by the way. What's yours?" He said in an off handed manner, pretty much heading for the city already.

((Sorry for the late reply! There's a typhoon here and it knocked my internet senseless for a long time @ - @ And well, RPs aren't ever perfect when it comes to time and order of events, to be honest xD And yeah, it took me a while to get used to Fairy as well, but once I got the hang of them they're really awesome.))
Wolfgang furrowed his eyebrows a bit, feeling the boy's reply to be a bit blunt, but it seemed that he was right anyway about why they were following him. "Yeah, I figured, I suppose I wanted to ask in case it was some other reason." he said, glancing at both the strange kid and his Sylveon. He visibly flinched a little when he felt the feelers curl around his leg, but that was simply because he wasn't used to it.
"That's fine, Gible is kind of a handful too." he let the dragon Pokemon down before giving Sylveon some pats on the head. Gible started to make some noises as he played with the feelers, gently biting it with his teeth (if biting could be considered gentle). Wolfgang turned his attention to the boy, who seemed to be inviting him to check out the cafe. "I guess that's fine since Gible and I were headed to the city anyway. I'm sure he'd like something to eat." he said casually as he glanced at his partner Pokemon. It seemed like the stranger was more eager for the food than talking, but the trainer didn't mind so much, he supposed. "I'm Wolfgang. I don't mind nicknames so long as they aren't obnoxious."
((Also you got extra alerts because I messed up with pings haha))
((Sorry for the late reply! There's a typhoon here and it knocked my internet senseless for a long time @ - @ And well, RPs aren't ever perfect when it comes to time and order of events, to be honest xD And yeah, it took me a while to get used to Fairy as well, but once I got the hang of them they're really awesome.))

((Its honestly no problem, as I live the country and completely understand you. Crapy internet knows no bounds in jacking stuff up... Haha.
And I know, I just don't want to get stuck on one event for to long. I run out of ways to talk about things lol.
I'm sure I'm going to screw up the pings one time or another. Just give me time XD))
Sylveon winced slightly as the tiny thing bit his feelers. They were sensitive. Making a quite sound of discomfort, he felt the other pokemon, feeling the warmth of its hide. He seemed quite at home with the hot nature of the islands. Though honestly he wasn't that small. He seemed like he was going to be huge when he grew up, unlike Sylveon. He was stuck being small. And he disliked it. He wasn't very intimidating... Walking a bit away from the youngling, Sylveon looked back at the other pokemon, motioning with a free feeler to follow along. He left the other in its mouth. He wanted to monitor him so he didn't get lost...
Walking along the paved streets of the city, Phem breathed in a deep sigh. He honestly preferred the softness of nature to the roughness of the city. But when you were hungry, you were hungry. He winced a bit as a stone dug into his foot. He glanced down then over at Wolfgang, realizing for the first time that maybe he should have work shoes today. The other boy had them on... Shrugging, he turned to face forward again, just in time to not run into... Well he didn't know who it was. They were strangers in this part of the island, but apparently they had been stealing pokemon.
And it seemed he had gotten their attention now... The guy whipped around as soon as Phem ran into them, a sneer on his face. "What have we here?" He said with a sinister grin "That's not a Pokémon I've seen before". Reaching for Wolfgang's Pokémon, he grinned " I want it!"
((Whelp. Here we go lol. Hope I didn't wreck it to bad XD))
