She wiped their genes away with a magic herb brew and ordered her familiars to keep an eye on the hatchling as it grew. However, we also understand that sometimes in order to get a roleplay rolling, minor controlling is needed. However, power does not always bring happiness. Perpetually losing lovers to her volatile tastes, Circe is plagued by her self-made isolation. More than anything, this causes her to despise the love in caring couples, particularly those with nests. After years of jealousy, she devised a plan. The sorceress perfected a magical potion and sent her familiars to steal the eggs of the most beautiful and loving dragon pairs they could find.
