Roleplay

Two gangs fight to control this land. Both of them are vicious, unrelenting in their task, totally focused on a singular goal: total control, to drive out the other. One group, calling themselves the Hellhounds, is a shade-touched group of fighters who want this land to live on, away from other dragons. The second group, calling themselves the Skycats, are dragons who are not touched by Shade, and want to drive out the Hellhounds because they fear the Shade. Neither one is totally good, nor bad, but their fates are about to be decided by something out of their control...

The birth of a hatchling, touched by the Gods, into the Hellhounds' group has turned everything upside down. The Skycats believe it is a bad omen, and seek to kill it. The Hellhounds believe it will be their savior. What they do with the hatchling will determine the fates of both groups as they are pushed to all-out war.

It had come. He knew. The child had been born. Stepping up to a large rock, Ilar jumped to the top of it effortlessly, spreading his wings and giving a screeching call. Many dragons began to lift their heads, stretching their wings and making their way over to the calling rock. Ilar gazed down at them, sighing heavily and deeply. It doesn't matter yet.[/i] I floated over to the middle of the group, passing through several dragons. "So, what exactly is going on here?" I asked, after hearing the Spiral's announcement.

He narrowed his eyes. "You're a hellhound. Why would you 'figure this all out'?" He pressed his face against the guardian. "You'd better watch out. The skycats have ME. Sooner or later you little hellhounds are going to bow down to my awesomeness." He walked away with a snarl.

Azaran shrugged. "I guess there's some hatchy born. Not really much of a problem. You guys have me to protect you. Just listen to what I say and then you'll be fine."
He grinned.
"The hellhounds made a mistake. They should not have messed with us. Now, we're going to give them a hard time."

I tilted my head. Wait... he can see me? "Yes!" I somersaulted in the air as I happily floated upward. He was probably looking at me weird. "Um... It's just that I'm usually not seen much. Only a few dragons in my lair can see me, and they're usually attuned to magic better than most. Weird, huh? Anyway, what do you think will happen with the child? I have a suspicion that there's more importance to it than you think..."

I've been living in the Starfall isles for all my life, so I guess I'm more used to magic?" He tilted his head. "Or it's just maybe because I'm too awesome." Slowly chuckling to himself, he wrapped a wing around the Fae. "Look, we're going to be FINE. The hatching's not really important. I'm the one that should be feared. Luckily, I'm on your side. I'm going to make sure the Hellhounds don't hurt any of us." Edit: Changed the wording of the last sentence to make it...less aggressive.
