Fortuna nod her head at Crow, smiling politely as she moved to investigate the rest of the guests. She slowed some in her walk, her head lifting as she looked to the balcony, the looming death not going unnoticed by her keen senses. She stare hard, taking in his ethereal details before looking away once more. She strode among the people, making her way toward a platform where the head table sat. She stepped around it, claiming the seat bearing the symbol of her temple. Several seats were settled to each side of her, also holding the symbols of her fellow gods.

Roux walked about among the humans. Though all of them were greeting him, he could see fear in their eyes. Clearly, they were maintaining a respectful facade towards him. His movements stopped when he felt a different presence in the balcony.
Ah, so the fellow is here... Not bothering to look up, he continued on his way up a platform of seat made for the gods. His eyes calmly narrowed at the sight of Fortuna. Taking his seat, he greeted with a mysterious smile,"Greetings, goddess of fortune. Certainly a nice day among the mortals, isn't it?" His last sentence was said with that of a sarcastic tone.

Partly covered in shadow, Erebus' red eyes almost glowed in the dark when they meet the goddess'.
He kept the eye contact without blinking and seconds before she looked away, a sly grin played on his mouth. She would never be scared by his dark presence.
So full of herself, he thought.
But that wasn't his intentions: No, he wanted her to know that
he was not afraid of them.
He stood silently, for once watching them from above. For a short second, a gently wind out of now where brushed through his hair and bangs.

Her brow rose as she listened to Roux, half nodding. "Mmm. I could almost swear there are more now than the last festivity.."she murmur, glancing to him as she leaned in her seat, her elbow and palm propping up her chin gently. "You certainly took your time arriving, too,"she teased lightly as her brow quirked lightly before turning her attention back to the mortals roaming about the room.
"That one is in your realm of expertise...if he threatens the festivity, I'll hold you accountable.."She murmur at Roux as her eyes drift back to the ethereal one in the balcony, adjusting her seat.

Siobhan stopped her work, knowing very well the ceremony was to start and that the temple would do fine without her. It was a good old building, almost breathing if you took time to lay a hand on its many walls. The goddess was now sitting in her seat, and Siobhan stood on her tiptoes and wiped the fromt of her mask, as if it would grant her better vision. She stared at Fortuna before she felt a dark aura above her. It took her eyes from a god who spoke to Fortuna, much to her chagrin.
A hood covered the man's face, but she could see his red eyes shining. He slumped on the balcony, leaning, galring at Fortuna, but Siobhan sensed aomething else in his demeanor. A sense of longing in the way he sagged, his eyes flitting around as if searching for someone. Slowly she walked toward hom, up the many flights that seperated her from the upper rooms of the temple that held the most valued.

Resting his chin on his hand, Roux sneered,"Their numbers are certainly increasing. With parties like this, I guarantee it'll continue growing in great numbers." His grin was of half jest and half serious. "Worry not, I'm keeping that fellow in check. It would be a foolish act to cause disturbance in a party where gods are present."
Though considering his character, I wouldn't be surprised if he would do it. It was prohibited for him to cause death among the mortals as he pleased. His job was to punish the sinful mortals and those who were found unfavorable by himself or other gods. Gazing at the humans below, he could see the numbers above their head which was how long each would live. "I wouldn't have come here at all if it were not for your party," he huffed,"So? Has any mortal caught your eye yet?"

Crow growled softly and stood off to the side, something was going to happen at the festival and Crow didn't want to miss it. He stood off in the shadows, watching as he leaned against a pillar. A woman, no, the Snapper he'd seen early walked past him and to the stairs. His gazed followed her, but he didn't move, 'I'll wait...' he thought and returned his gaze to the Goddess of Fortune and the other God. 'Wonder what he's the god of.' Crow thought. He held his dagger in one hand and ran a finger against the blade, almost lovingly. A gold band shimmered on his left hand when caught just right with the light.

She was silent as she thought, slowly shaking her head after a few seconds pondering. "No...as with the last few decades, I've only just been disappointed.."she breathed before her eyes drift thoughtfully over the crowd. "Perhaps one who serves my temple but,"her brow furrowed, straightening up some. "Beyond the realm of the clouds, I've no idea. I've yet to see a human prove their worth--and it's been such a long time.."she continued as her tone grew near solemn, lightly biting her lip.

Erebus heard the woman from behind a moment before she showed up.
He wondered what she was interested in doing up here, when everything was happening underneath her.
The second she came in sight, Erebus took a deep breath, trying to control the savage hate than ran through his veins. He could smell her: Crispy, burnt, warm.. Whole.
There was no eyes to meet as her face was hidden behind a mask. He nodded at her, in a greeting gesture, before turning his head away.
He glared down as another had entered his seat. Oh, he felt it the moment Roux entered the room and Erebus refused to look at him.

Roux wasn't surprised by the goddesses's answer. With the years passing by, he himself could not see any human worthy of being blessed. "It's quite a dilemma, isn't it? With the years passing by, I think these mortals only grow greedier and power hungry." Without glancing, he kept the presence of that fellow above the balcony in check. "He's certainly an example of one," he softly murmured, rhythmically tapping a finger on the table. A half god tainted with mortal blood could especially never be trusted.
Confident with their parent god's power, they try to become a god themselves. Fools. "Perhaps these humans should be put to a test. A test to see their worth."
