Polemos' frills trembled in what appeared to be restrained anger for a second as the dragons took the bag of trinkets.

"Peaceful negotiations," he said in a monotone, though his frills were shaking with emotion and his voice was getting progressively louder. "Quite a path to take. Perhaps it will aid you. Perhaps not. Only time will tell because I can certainty say that-"

The fae stopped speaking and heaved a breath. His frills quieted, as did his voice.

"Your path is yours," he said, though his frills were shaking again, "though I cannot ensure your safety if you did come across those... beasts," he managed. "I would say you ought to fight them but... if peace is your way of doing this, so be it. I have nothing more to say to you."

With one finally piercing glare, he took to the skies, leaving the dragons below to find their way.

The helpful little fae, who assumed that everyone with trinkets and little baubles would be straight on the path to peace. In some circumstances, peace would be the most effective, and in some, violence or treachery. Being peaceful didn't mean that you wouldn't get your hands dirty, and being willing to fight for your beliefs didn't mean that you wern't peaceful. Good Icewarden. Why. He just had to put out the LITERAL (and metaphoric) sense of "the path is yours" He didn't give the trinket dragons a path to walk on unlike the healing potion group, and the sword group. After saying that very helpful piece of info, he just flew away. When the fae first spoke of the trinkets as "usless" He may have chosen his words from a biastic feelings, so Torrent was sure thathe would find an alternate use. If not, then his magic would be a good stab-in-the-back trick if the circumstances were right.... Now. They had to find a path to tread on. After that dreaded fae had dumped them in the middle of a wasteland. With no direction whatsoever.

@stanzascale @lamenting @DomiTheMystic @Giratina @AsmaetheFox //OOC: my apologies to everyone who engaged something with Arbol, I was unusually busy today. Assuming this is what happened without having to stress myself over work today and reading everything until this part I'll just hopefully assume this happened and I can pick up here without too much of a problem. Feel completely free to correct me~~ also lmao a poor pouty Arbol. You don't see that often haha Arbol's conversation with the imperial wasn't interrupted because she technically wasn't talking, just silently looking each other over. Quite awkwardly might she add. So Arbol was slightly relieved when the presence of another dragon stuck conversation with him. She ignored them both, hoping for them to each find another dragon to converse with leaving her alone to still contemplate about her choice. Lost in her self she completely blocked out the other dragons around her, overthinking her choices as she usually did. Her attention was brought back to her when the tiny fae who was their guide returned, only then did she notice fully new dragons were standing near her. She wondered how long she'd been lost in thought. She looked at the others to see the imperial still around. She gave a look of confusion, 'why is he still here?' she thought to herself unknowing that this was her new group. Realization hit her when the fae continued and she was shocked. Her heart skipped a beat and she got immensely worried. The strange Spiral, the princess-delicate fae, the strange, silent imperial, and the arrogant skydancer. 'no, no, no,' she whispered in her head. This was not an efficient team. The words sore loser came to mind but she brushed them off. As an ambassador she always needs everything to go as planned or the clan or herself run into big problems. She only takes the most efficient dragons with her to these trips, knowing if she failed, her crew and soon her home would most likely become nothing. Knowing this and assessing her team gave her instant fear. She looked desperately back to Polemos, but he was already far off. She wanted to slump right there and not get up.

Guessing by the first look of confusion at when he was left behind by the others, and when the fae explained further groupings, the guardian had a striken look plastered onto her face, full of worry. And also the desperate look-back at the dragons that already departed, as if searching for someone and then the evident look as if she had already lost a battle. A large majority of ice dragons wore masks, due to it being almost second nature, tattoned into the ice element. Tattooned into your icey egg from when you were a hatchling. He thought while the guardian looked that way, good chance it was largely cause of the other group-member's. Somewhat discontent with this band. The reason was why. He mustered up some courage to speak, his voice surprisingly clear and crisp for a dragon who rarely spoke. "What are you discontented with, choosen to give up on the first steps" He asked, as he pulled the hood a bit more over his head.

Imperials could keep on flying for weeks on end, but due to the vulnerability of lack of maneuverability, air combat was a LARGE weakness. He was rather glad he didn't have to air-travel tho... Despite being especially nimble and stealthy for a imperial, he wanted to avoid that as much as possible... Deciding not to speak, he shook his head as a gesture that there were no paths nearby. Being the largest dragon in the group, he could see father than most, and their were only the paths of the dragons who already left. They might as well start in the general direction to the wyrmwound, he decided not to say anything, again, and start walking in the general direction, not on any sort of path. He decided that he would step onto a path, once encountering one... The terrain didn't seem to have any natural "traps" like snowbanks, avalanches, cliffs, separating icebergs... It should be fine. Right?

He stood tall as he engaged into the group, "To quote a great fire dragon 'Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry we could not travel both and be we travelers, long we stood...' ofcourse this is an impromptu abridged version but I find it rather fitting."

He leaned to his left, where a deep purple guardian stood, "How are you today miss?" He looked to the male imperial and skydancer, " and you two gentleman?"
