"[b]Peaceful negotiations,[/b]" he said in a monotone, though his frills were shaking with emotion and his voice was getting progressively louder. "[b]Quite a path to take. Perhaps it will aid you. Perhaps not. Only time will tell because I can certainty say that-[/b]"
The fae stopped speaking and heaved a breath. His frills quieted, as did his voice.
"[b]Your path is yours,[/b]" he said, though his frills were shaking again, "[b]though I cannot ensure your safety if you did come across those... [i]beasts[/i],[/b]" he managed. "[b]I would say you ought to fight them but... if peace is your way of doing this, so be it. I have nothing more to say to you.[/b]"

"Something he didn't tell us?" Varsinensis tilted her ears and frills in all different directions. The helmeted Fae had offered the choice - and then cursed anyone who took it. What had that grown out of, that it would hide for so long?
"Well, he left, so we can't ask. Hmm."
She flew higher for a moment, then dropped to a comfortable interaction height once again.
"Finding the Wyrmwound will probably be easier than getting there in one piece. I can work with most bacteria, enough to hold off rot. What did all of you bring to the table?"

Arabella perked up some, "I'm a battle-trained healer. My clan lives at the edge of the shrieking wilds, and they often need patching up. Dealing with contagion is new to me. Putting a dragon back together after a nasty fight is not."
She frowned, her ears laid back along her neck as her frill drooped again, "However trying to patch someone up out here is not.... well... uhmn... healthy?"
She snorted. "I took the trinkets because I was warned that any brew I brought would be.... not effective. So...."
She looks to the others a moment her frill pinned alongside her neck half open. After a breath's pause she added, "Best to make the best of it then I suppose...."
With a flip of her wings, she bowed to the others. "Introductions? I am Arabella, battle medic to the Hallowed Trio."
(me either, but hey... ^.^ fun time!)

"But anyway, my name's Mirhie, and I'm something of a scientist - give me something to work with and I can come up with all sorts of stuff! Unfortunately, I lost most of my tools on the way here, but I'm sure it'll be fine." She neglected to mention that her experiments were as likely to blow up as work properly - most people seemed bothered by that for some reason.
She turned to the tundra, thinking she was being encouraging. "I'm not sure you'll be able to get a sword, but I'm glad there's at least one warrior going our way. Having different skills is useful!
