(Sort of. Read below for more info.)

Persona:
Background: Salicit lives with Tinge. Though she is widely regarded as one of the most handsome skydancers to walk to shadowed woods, her union with her partner is more a matter of practicality. Because Tinge has other proclivities, they have never been more than friends in truth. Though Salicit had held him in her heart a long time ago, she has since moved on and stays with him as a way for them both to save face. Officially, she is his mate, but out of sight, they both do as they like. Her familiar is a sickly like thing, though she loves and dotes the little thing endlessly. It loves her as much, and will not leave her side, even though she has tried pushing it of the Tangled Wood before for the sake of its health.
Derangement: Blackouts. Sometimes, sometimes under duress and sometimes at random, Salicit will go into a tracelike state and come to only hours later, unaware of where she has been or what has occurred in that time. It hasn't happened often enough yet for her to discover what she has been up to during these intervals, though she often comes around while traveling back home after a blackout.

Sabbat Clan Duty: Leader of Mirror Pack Mate: Inconnu

Persona: Innovative as she is dangerous. Extremely energetic and alert. Admires Pneuma's strength and influence, but is also clever enough to recognize the value of running her mirror pack under his orders. She is also deeply loyal towards the Shadowbinder, and sees the birdskull armor of her pack as religious idols.
Background: Took Inconnu as a mate when he was the first and only male (mirror, because why would she give a damn about other dergs?) able to whip her butt in combat.
Derangement: Hysteria. Has no control over her emotions at any point, and her behaviors always reflect her mood at the moment. This often makes her violent, though her mate has been known to subdue her when she's about to try and attack something suicidally. She does not admit that she has any mental instability.

A holy rite made horrid, a toothsome pelt of ash A wake of bones behind it, yet its sharp teeth gnash The shadow solid, the witch’s brew, it stirs, coils, springs! It bloody laughter thunders, it strikes on wicked wings!

Inconnu Clan Duty: Second in Command of Mirror Pack Mate: Sabbat

Persona: Inconnu rarely speaks, preferring to judge others and himself by actions. He is oddly unsociable for a mirror, however,
Background: The only dragon who know where Inconnu hails from is Pneuma. Even Inconnu's mate, Sabbat, only receives an impish grin when she asks about Inconnu's life before coming to the shadows. His egg was stolen and he was reluctantly raised by a pair of nocturnes before fleeing and living on his own in the wilds. Has never actually left the shadowlands
Derangement: Hysterical Laughter.

  Cast Mate: Moonknell

Persona: While his mate collects information, Cast collects items the way a ridgeback does. However, it is much more difficult to notice the gregarious fae or the small items that tend to disappear in his wake. Unlike many of his kind, Cast has learned to make up for his inability to express emotion to other species by substituting with a wide and often flattering vocabulary. He has a formulaic approach to interpreting emotions in others as well. While their tone may mean nothing to him, he has learned to pretend that a non-fae's body must work as as an over-sized if dysfunctional set of crests and frills. He becomes quite amused and enthralled in examining the way other dragon's claw-curling and muzzle-twitching is supposed to indicate mood and will often lie about in the communal clan areas to watch social interactions - as well as to keep an eye out for unattended nick-knacks for his collections. Because of his delicate health, he is not a very strong flier, and relies on his mate's mechanical and magic skill to get around, and uses his familiar as a mount from time to time.
Background: Scientifically minded and in pursuance of a field of study, Cast left his home at a young age under a different name. Known as Riebal in those days, he moved from land to land. Suddenly though, his quest for intriguing magical mysteries to solve fell by the wayside when he met Moonknell on the outskirts of the Plaguelands. He went traveling and met Moonknell in the plaugelands. The two fell in love instantly, though it took many long months of courting before she would give him so much as her name. However, not long after their nuptials, an infection of the skin and ligaments began affecting Riebald's flight. During their return trip to the Starfall Islands, he fell even more ill. Though Moonknell was attentive in treating him with the practices she'd learned from her father, his infection was a sort known for spreading among faes. Though Moonknell's line and any children she might have will be immune to the infection due to her background and resilient genes, the risk against his old clan was too dangerous to warrant so much as a visit. Reluctantly, Riebal wrote his goodbyes to his family and continued his search for a worthy study with Moonknell's attendant care. Eventually they came to the Shadowlands and he met Umbra and her mate Havoc. Intrigued by their strange tales and enjoying the richness of the magic in the area, he and Moonknell decided to stay within the shadows where there are no other fae to risk infecting. He has been seeking to understand the magic that transforms a dragon from one species to another ever since, while his mate has fallen into the service of Pneuma. Since they settled, he took on the name Cast - short for Outcast - to disguise his relation to his distant family, as being reminded of them is painful to him.
Derangement: Obsessive compulsive. It often seems no more than a nervous tic in social situations, but the hollowed tree that Cast hides his stolen trinkets in is a monument to his obsession.

Moonknell Clany Duty: Healer (and Spymaster) Mate: Cast

Persona: She has seen disease, death, and strife aplenty. She has seen many from her old clan succumb to infection and rot, and watched each of her offspring die of the infection that cripples her mate. Without her family and and forced to play Pneuma's spy to keep even her new home, Moonknell has plenty to fret and mourn over even now. She has a soft, quiet demeanor, but despite her sorrows she tries valiantly to mask her misery from everyone, especially her ever-cheerful mate, and when not playing the spy has a very kind heart and is a ready healer for the clan guard. Still, she occasionally succumbs to her grief when alone.
Background: Hailing first from the plaguelands, Moonknell has learned the value of survival. From her parents, she learned to wed their fortes of alchemy and magic to ward off disease and necrosis to better aid her clan. Though her family was large and sociable, she led a relatively quiet life until an arcane fae named Riebal. The male courted her at length, and after several years of persistence, won her heart entirely. Though she was loathe to leave her family permanently, she agreed to travel to his homelands to meet his at least, but before they went far Riebal fell gravely ill with infection. It took all of her skills to keep him in health long enough for them to find safe lodging in the Tangled Wood. Though she was luckily immune to his infection, the infectious nature of it made him a living hazard to any other fae's, and they were forced to make permanent residence within Pneuma's clan, where they are no other of their race. In exchange for their lodging, Moonknell has become an informant for her clan leader, surreptitiously listening in on her clan mates from the shadows for information to pass along. Though they have found safety and even some happiness here, out of their many hatchlings there has only been one surviving offspring.
Derangement: Manic Depression. She tries to obscure this to her mate, and non-fae have a very difficult time spotting her lethargy, but she often swings back and forth between blind optimism about the world as a whole, and relentless dread over anticipating her mate's death to his disease.

Sable Clan Duty: "Slave" of the Mirror Pack Mate: None

Persona: Sable is impossible to faze. Though this is usually not unique in tundras, in Sable this is more than a mere assured calmness. Though she has lived with a hoard of violent mirrors for several years, she has never batted at eye at their aggression and battles. She cares for her strange, adopted family deeply, and shrugs off their occasional disrespect and remarks with an easy grin, as she has the utmost confidence in her position among them. Sometimes, she will even help them track a wounded, escaped foe with her excellent nose for them and calmly munch on a fruit while the mirrors tear their prey apart. She is almost always humming and in a good mood, though when her tail starts thrashing it's best to leave her be. She is extraordinarily vain about her luxurious, soft coat.
Background: When she came across Sabbat's hoard of mirrors, they claimed her as a slave, but she only yawned and announced that she had come to join them anyway. Though this puzzled the mirrors at first, and though they have insisted on her position ever since, she is a de facto member of the troupe by now. She tends to the wounds they suffer in battle and keeps track of their armor and supplies.
Derangement: Hears music. Constantly. Usually this keeps her calm, but sometimes it harasses other responses out of her and makes her behavior shift without regard to the social setting. Many settle with branding her crazy, as she has no qualms or embarrassment about describing the music she hears.

Camarilla Clan Duty: Artisan Mate: None

Persona: Camarilla is remarkably small and frail for an imperial. Though she is supremely beautiful in form and voice, there is a discernible softness to her that shows that she is entirely incapable of hunting or extended exercise. When she must fly, she dons mechanical wings to lessen the strain. She has a retiring manner that often comes off as meek or even stupid. In truth, she is overwhelmingly shy and becomes easily flummoxed in the presence of others. Though she longs for companionship, she still mourns the loss of her beloved after the many, many years since his death, and dotes on her buttersnake familiar, fancifully characterizing its well past the capability of its limited intellect.
Background: When Camarilla's egg was laid, her father, a seer, laid white orchid petals over the shells of his offspring and foresaw fortune, bravery, and tragedy within the nest. Camarilla's lot, unfortunately, was tragedy. As her brother and sister grew in bravery and cunning, Camarilla grew in beauty, but lingered ever-near her parents' watchful protection. A delicate waif of a thing, the imperial developed a knack for the artistry of weaving and sewing fine cloths and silks to keep her from venturing too far or becoming entangled with teh dangerous sort. Nevertheless, her heart fell for the love of a young warrior of her own kind. though she was little more than a girl yet, the warrior was kind to her, and promised to return to her once the legion he was from had pushed back the beastclan threat harrying the borders of the Wispwillow Grove. Tragically indeed, Camarilla's love perished in battle and rose again as a monster. The Emperor nightmare that rose from the bloody field bore his visage and nearly annihilated the legion as it pushed closer to her family's clan with singular purpose. The horror was eventually slain, but not before coming close enough that Camarilla could hear and distinguish the baleful screams of her perished beloved's head from the cacophony from many miles away. She spent many months in mourning for the imperial her heart had barely known but her heart had wedded to. Eventually, when her father admitted he could sense no other doom awaiting her, she fled her home and the memories therein. Ire, one of those who had managed to slay the emperor threat, insisted on accompanying her out of a sense of debt and honor, and they stopped eventually in Pneuma's clan. The place was restful, wecoming, and well defended by guardians. Though Camarilla has never much cared for Pneuma, she was content to find a quiet corner of the clan's lands and practice her art in peace and relative solitude.
Derangement: Hyperesthesia. Her senses are easily overwhelmed by excessive or strong light, sound, touch, or much of anything else. She becomes easily overwhelmed in the company off boisterous or numerous dragons and sequesters herself to handle her aversion to too much stimulus.

Shade Clan Duty: Member of the Guard (and Assassin) Mate: None

Persona: Shade is a cold and distant member of the guard. Her expressions and tones of voice, when she bothers to try and create them, are clearly forced. Though she is a zealous guard of her daughter, Cabal, she is otherwise distant and unapproachable to most, who find her uncanny and strange. She would not be welcome even in the guard of her clan if she were not an excellent fighter. She is extremely expert at sneaking up on a foe and finishing them off in a single blow.
Background: Though Shade hails from the Windswept Plateau, she was never like the bubbly, friendly sort that typically populate that region. She was never quite rude, but growing up she never bothered making friends, and even those that insisted on attaching themselves to her eventually blew away like withered leaves in time. When the drive for her Search came, she spread her wings readily and sped north in search of purpose. Though she was sure in her unknown destiny, after several years her eagerness dimmed and she found herself ill and in need of respite in the shadowlands. By luck, she stumbled across Pneuma's clan, and while he allowed her recovery he also listened to the story of her life and pointed out that she had never cared about anyone or anything. Once recovered, she lingered long enough to have a nest with Pneuma, thinking she might find something appealing about motherhood. But she cared for the nest only out of custom and even sold the second egg of the tiny clutch to a traveling merchant before Pneuma knew of it to lessen the burden. She felt nothing, though when her daughter Cabal hatched, she knew immediately that she had found her Charge. She had found something she cared about, and under Penuma's instruction, she also found that she had one other skill besides caring for her daughter that brought her pleasure... Killing. She became Pneuma's assassin and joined his clan's guard as a front for the role, but she has always looked forward to receiving his private instructions. Her charge, troublesomely enough, developed strange hungers of her own, and Shade has been supplying her with ingredients for year. Though she has only once joined her in a 'meal,' she found it failed to rouse any emotional response from within her.
Derangement: Desensitization. Feels no real emotional connection to anything. Though she does obey Pneuma explicitly, she does so without ardor. She does feel something when she kills though. Something like pleasure, or even guilt at times, and it is in pursuit of this ephemeral feeling that she practices her art. Her reliance on Pneuma is mainly so she has someone to lend legitimacy and usefulness to her skill so she will not be branded as a degenerate and lose control of her habit.

Cabal Clan Duty: Acolyte of the Darkened Sisters Mate: None

Persona: Always bubbling and cheerful, though not particularly talkative.
Background: Cabal was born and raised within Pneuma's clan. Somehow though, despite her closely attentive mother and her father being the leader of the clan itself, she always seemed half feral to most. Unbeknownst to any but her parents, she grew pulling apart large insects and trying to skin any rabbits or mice she caught as a hatchling immediately when she discovered the corpse of a slain mirror on the edge of the clan territory. When her mother found her hours later, the mirror's corpse had parts of it eaten away, and even Shade found this disturbing despite her usual lack of emotion. Because Cabal was her mother's charge, however, Shade had little choice but to try and protect her daughter, and has made sure no one else has ever known about Cabal's peculiar taste for other dragons. Kept from joining the guard by Shade (who didn't wish her to become skilled in fighting and recklessly begin gathering her own meals), Cabal developed an interest in singing and prayer. She now serves the darkened sisters as an acolyte.
Derangement: Cannibalism. Sometimes she gets very creative with this in preparing complex meals for herself, but she is always careful to obscure her fixation from her clan. she keeps no bones or souvenirs for more than a day or so, as her mother will not allow it.

Bolshie Clan Duty: Alchemist Mate: Hallow

Persona: Molshie is nothing if not rude and irritable. He is as likely to bite any appendage that he thinks infringes on his personal space as he is to return a hello with a sneer. Surly with age and bitter regard for the world and those that inhabit, he has little patience for others. However, he takes his craft very seriously - even more seriously than his instinctual urge to travel. At least - he claims to reside in the Tangled Wood out of a professional interest in the magic properties of the area, though perhaps his arthritic knees give way to the fact that he is long past being able to stand up to the rigors of much travel. He is not very inclined to be helpful to others, but when given any sort of alchemical problem he immediately focuses all of his attention to the task. So prideful is he of his skill, however, that he is actually rather susceptible to flattery and will either teach or help those that are adequately fawning of his mastery. Bolshie is surprisingly fond of his mate, Scale, though he never admits as much to strangers and complains about her constantly when the two are not alone.
Background: Bolshie claims to be hundreds of years old. It is difficult to gauge his age, as he is unsure himself, but he has certainly lasted for more than just one century. Most of his life has been typical for a snapper, wandering with his herd in endless spiraling routes while he perused his life-long obsession with alchemy. However, his was not a large herd, and by the time he came to stop in Pneuma's territory, he and his mate were the last of their number. He is bitter about the decline of his old tribe, but is too old and venerable to do more than circle the territory from time to time. Pneuma tolerates the old thing for respect of his skill and out of expectation of his pending death.
Derangement: Narcolepsy. To other dragons, this seems like a mere side effect of old age, but given that snappers do not sleep his occasional napping is unheard of and strange. He finds dreams to be disorienting and upsetting, though his mate and mimic familiar usually managed to shove him awake before he does more than nod off.

Hallow Clan Duty: Herbalist Mate: Bolshie

Persona: Here her mate is unpleasant at all time, Hallow never seems to have anything bad to say about anyway. She is a stout, motherly sort, and ignores her mate's complaints with a matronly surety. Though not quite as old as Bolshie, she is very aged for a snapper. Still, she can move around the territory fairly well despite the gembond that infects her aged hide. She likes listening to stories and supplies the clan with the rare herbs and plants that she cultivates and finds.
Background: She happens to be a good friend of Moonknell, who relies on her calm council.
Derangement: None Manifested

Art by InsaneDachshund Keen Clan Duty: Second in Command of the Guard Mate:None

Persona: A member of the clan guard, Keen has earned her position as guard through her skill in battle and her cut-throat attitude. She is more clever than her brutish behavior would suggest, and after a good fight cheers up immensely and is far easier to get along with. However, she only takes orders from Pneuma and, when the matter is formal, her captain and Charge, Ire. She actually does not get along with the red imperial, and is blatantly jealous of his rank. However, she is unable to challenge his position since, because he is her Charge, she could never bring herself to harm him even in sparring. The rambas she keeps tied up by one of the clan's territory are not so much familiars as a favorite snacks.
Background: Keen learned everything she knows about fighting from her father, who was captain of the guard in her old clan in the plaguelands. She was indifferent towards staying loyal towards the clan, but was reluctant to go on her Search. She worried that she would collect some ridiculous Charge, such as a tree or piece of crockery, but there was no denying the urge to travel when the time came. She did not expect Spindle - the half-blind, cryptic imperial of her clan - to attach herself to her, but the embittered dragon made a surprisingly good traveling companion until they stumbled across Pneuma's lands within the Tangled Wood. There, she found her Charge rather unexpectedly, and joined the clan guard to better watch out for Ire.
Derangement: She is thrown into a blind rage in heated battle, and will go to any lengths to protect Ire. When her vision goes as red as the color of her eyes, she becomes a violent monster, and after the dust settles she can rarely recall anything that happened in her battle rage.

Zeph Clan Duty: Caretaker of the Sunken Grove Mate: None

Persona: Zeph is an endlessly calm and resolute young guardian. Her relaxed self-possession stems from her certainty and devotion to her charge - the lands of the Sunken Grove. As long as they are not in jeopardy, she feels that every other problem is minute in comparison. Towards others, she is good natured and friendly, but on matters of her land she is unyieldingly obstinate, and her good humor will vanish if she discovered some imbalance of the land. Although she is a de facto member of Pneuma's clan, she has been aloof from forming attachments to others and doesn't consider herself a friend of much of anyone, except perhaps Pneuma.
Background: As a young wind dragon, Zeph never could imagine her beautiful, airy home. Even when the urge of her Search came, she spent many years winding her way through every crevice, rise, and aerie of the Windswept Plateau for a dragon, item, or place that drew her. None did, and after finally stopping to meditation on the matter, she realized there was a definitive pull. Her heart fell when following it drew her from the warm, windy skies she had always known, but she carried on and on for many moons, until she found her Charge. It was nothing she had expected, but there was no defying her place or role once it had been found. Within the Tangled Wood, she had stumbled across a particularly low divot of land, overgrown with impossibly sized trees whose canopy roofed a new, dark world. The place was rich with obscured life and beauty, but also in decline and imbalance, overrun with a destructive hoard of mirrors, as well as a small clan of dragons led by a guardian named Pneuma. After some discussion, they formed an agreement. As his clan expanded over what she considered to be her lands by right, it was agreed that they would follow her edicts about where and what they could hunt, and that the destructive mirrors would have to be kept out of the lands she came to call the Sunken Grove. In return, she would keep lookout over over the Grove, and their home would benefit from her stewardship. She doesn't tend to lose her temper, unless either her smith work or her mate, Jinx is insulted. Though the two of them may often find attraction toward other dragons, Rachis is still fiercely protective of the spiral. He talks entirely too much and seems to have no filters to keep from spewing any and all thoughts that enter his head. He is, nevertheless, a surprisingly clever dragon, and quick to point out humor and irony wherever he perceives it. He has little interest in the persecution of those that call him a vagabond and layabout, and feels no shame for his occasional thievery and insults he vollies. In fact, he seems to feel little shame about anything at all.
Background:When asked where he came from or why he came to join Pneuma's clan, Jinx spouts a different story each time he is asked. He has claimed to be a prince that lost his inheritance due to betting. He has called himself a reformed bandit, as well as a terrible scientist that created a new strain of blight so heinous that even the Plaguemother was compelled to banish him. The truth, however, is that as a young spiral he stowed away in a merchant caravan. After many weeks of traveling, it was too late to return him to his home when he was finally discovered. Since then he has been a vagabond, wandering from clan to clan until washing up with Pneuma's group. It is uncertain whether he will stay or not. At the moment, he serves no practical function to the clan and has only managed to pay back his lodging with the dubious virtue of his company and jokes.
Derangement: Mushroom Addiction. While Jinx does not admit to his addiction, even to himself, he is nevertheless very dependent on the newly budded glowing mushrooms on the edge of the clan territory. He is the only nature dragon in Pneuma's clan, yet his magic is quite weak and he gets headaches from using it. He is still dedicated to growing and tending crops and flowers (often at Scale's behest), but he achieves this mostly through hard work and the strength of his back. This has given him a particularly robust frame for a skydancer - yet another thing that embarrasses him. Oddly, his mate's obsessive behaviors - despite their frequent awkward social ramifications - seem to be the only that doesn't bring a stutter to his speech. He is more protective of her than he is even over his own garden, and will humor any of her strange behavior no matter how strange it makes the pair of them seem in public. Luckily, they are both reclusive enough that they don't disturb their clanmmates very frequently. His hedgehog familiar is really just a pest he didn't have to heart to kill when he found it demolishing his herb garden. He feeds it nuts to deter it from cuasing further damage, but the thing is still more pest than pet.
Background: Though Lax was fascinated with the splendor of nature as a hatchling, he never developed much skill by way of magic. He learned as much as he could and grew things by dent of physical effort, but by the time he came of age he grew hopelessly outclassed by better gifted nature dragons within his clan. He left in search of more interesting flora when he came of age. It felt like an excuse to escape the shadow of his peers at the time, but as he traveled he fell in love with the new varieties of plant outside of the Verdant Labyrinth. Eventually though, it was the glowing mushrooms and varied ferns of the Tangled Wood that kept his attention, and he found himself recruited into Pneuma's clan by virtue of his influence over nature. He has grown herbs for Scale, flowers with healing blooms for Moonknell, and tends to the might oaks that Zeph cannot care for to the best of his effort, though his clan has often grown impatient with his limitations. Still, he works hard, and ever since Cosset walked into his life he hasn't been able to dream of leaving his new home.
Derangement: Stutters. Salicit
Clan Duty: Ambassador
Mate: Tinge. (Sort of. Read below for more info.)
  • Persona:
  • Background: Salicit lives with Tinge.

  • Derangement: Blackouts.

Sabbat
Clan Duty: Leader of Mirror Pack
Mate: Inconnu
  • Persona: Innovative as she is dangerous. Extremely energetic and alert. Admires Pneuma's strength and influence, but is also clever enough to recognize the value of running her mirror pack under his orders. She is also deeply loyal towards the Shadowbinder, and sees the birdskull armor of her pack as religious idols.
  • Background: Took Inconnu as a mate when he was the first and only male (mirror, because why would she give a damn about other dergs?) able to whip her butt in combat.
  • Derangement: Hysteria. Has no control over her emotions at any point, and her behaviors always reflect her mood at the moment. This often makes her violent, though her mate has been known to subdue her when she's about to try and attack something suicidally. She does not admit that she has any mental instability.
Quote:
A holy rite made horrid, a toothsome pelt of ash
A wake of bones behind it, yet its sharp teeth gnash

The shadow solid, the witch’s brew, it stirs, coils, springs!
It bloody laughter thunders, it strikes on wicked wings!

Clan Duty: Second in Command of Mirror Pack

  • Persona: Inconnu rarely speaks, preferring to judge others and himself by actions. He is oddly unsociable for a mirror, however,
  • Background: The only dragon who know where Inconnu hails from is Pneuma.
  • Derangement: Hysterical Laughter.

Cast
Mate: Moonknell
  • Persona: While his mate collects information, Cast collects items the way a ridgeback does.
  • Background: Scientifically minded and in pursuance of a field of study, Cast left his home at a young age under a different name.
  • Derangement: Obsessive compulsive. It often seems no more than a nervous tic in social situations, but the hollowed tree that Cast hides his stolen trinkets in is a monument to his obsession.

Moonknell
Clany Duty: Healer (and Spymaster)
Mate: Cast
  • Persona: She has seen disease, death, and strife aplenty.
  • Background: Hailing first from the plaguelands, Moonknell has learned the value of survival.
  • Derangement: Manic Depression. She tries to obscure this to her mate, and non-fae have a very difficult time spotting her lethargy, but she often swings back and forth between blind optimism about the world as a whole, and relentless dread over anticipating her mate's death to his disease.

Sable
Clan Duty: "Slave" of the Mirror Pack
Mate: None
  • Persona: Sable is impossible to faze.
  • Background: When she came across Sabbat's hoard of mirrors, they claimed her as a slave, but she only yawned and announced that she had come to join them anyway. Though this puzzled the mirrors at first, and though they have insisted on her position ever since, she is a de facto member of the troupe by now. She tends to the wounds they suffer in battle and keeps track of their armor and supplies.
  • Derangement: Hears music. Constantly. Usually this keeps her calm, but sometimes it harasses other responses out of her and makes her behavior shift without regard to the social setting. Many settle with branding her crazy, as she has no qualms or embarrassment about describing the music she hears.

Camarilla
Clan Duty: Artisan
Mate: None
  • Persona: Camarilla is remarkably small and frail for an imperial.
  • Background: When Camarilla's egg was laid, her father, a seer, laid white orchid petals over the shells of his offspring and foresaw fortune, bravery, and tragedy within the nest.

  • Derangement: Hyperesthesia. Her senses are easily overwhelmed by excessive or strong light, sound, touch, or much of anything else. She becomes easily overwhelmed in the company off boisterous or numerous dragons and sequesters herself to handle her aversion to too much stimulus.

Shade
Clan Duty: Member of the Guard (and Assassin)
Mate: None
  • Persona: Shade is a cold and distant member of the guard.
  • Background: Though Shade hails from the Windswept Plateau, she was never like the bubbly, friendly sort that typically populate that region.

  • Derangement: Desensitization.

Cabal
Clan Duty: Acolyte of the Darkened Sisters
Mate: None
  • Persona: Always bubbling and cheerful, though not particularly talkative.
  • Background: Cabal was born and raised within Pneuma's clan.

  • Derangement: Cannibalism. Sometimes she gets very creative with this in preparing complex meals for herself, but she is always careful to obscure her fixation from her clan. she keeps no bones or souvenirs for more than a day or so, as her mother will not allow it.
Bolshie wrote:

Bolshie
Clan Duty: Alchemist
Mate: Hallow
  • Persona: Molshie is nothing if not rude and irritable.

  • Background: Bolshie claims to be hundreds of years old.
  • Derangement: Narcolepsy. To other dragons, this seems like a mere side effect of old age, but given that snappers do not sleep his occasional napping is unheard of and strange. He finds dreams to be disorienting and upsetting, though his mate and mimic familiar usually managed to shove him awake before he does more than nod off.

Keen
Clan Duty: Second in Command of the Guard
Mate:None
  • Persona: A member of the clan guard, Keen has earned her position as guard through her skill in battle and her cut-throat attitude.
  • Background: Keen learned everything she knows about fighting from her father, who was captain of the guard in her old clan in the plaguelands.
  • Derangement: She is thrown into a blind rage in heated battle, and will go to any lengths to protect Ire. When her vision goes as red as the color of her eyes, she becomes a violent monster, and after the dust settles she can rarely recall anything that happened in her battle rage.

Zeph
Clan Duty: Caretaker of the Sunken Grove
Mate: None
  • Persona: Zeph is an endlessly calm and resolute young guardian.
  • Background: As a young wind dragon, Zeph never could imagine her beautiful, airy home.

Clan Duty: Member of the Mirror Pack
Mate: None
  • Persona: Still harbors residual loyalty to the Plaguebringer. Friends with Vinicullum, who is simpleminded and reminds her somewhat of her father.
  • Background: Daughter to her old clan. Joined Sabbat's mirror pack out of respect for her leadership, but Viscera is still considering trying to overthrow her anyway.

  • Persona: Chipper, spirited young male. Ever a grinning optimist, his peers often see him as naive and foolhardy. He loves children and games.
  • Background:
  • Derangement: Msophonia. Acumen can't stand certain sounds, and most of those noises correlate to battle. The clash of metal and battle roars involved in battle incites rage in him and strips away his cheerful demeanor.

Rachis
Clan Duty: Metalworker
Mate:Jinx
  • Persona: Easy-going, unbothered by the caustic tongue of her mate or others since, as a fire dragon, she's seen too many flaring tempers to be much disturbed. She doesn't tend to lose her temper, unless either her smith work or her mate, Jinx is insulted. Though the two of them may often find attraction toward other dragons, Rachis is still fiercely protective of the spiral. She considers his tundra daughter, Murk, as something of an adoptive daughter of her own, though her patience is often tested by the girl's self-centeredness.
  • Background: Native fire dragon, came to work as a smith for Pneuma's clan.

Jinx
Clan Duty: None
Mate: Rachis
  • Persona: Wry and insensitive, Jinx always has a sharp joke or barb on the tip of his tongue, depending on his mood.
  • Background:When asked where he came from or why he came to join Pneuma's clan, Jinx spouts a different story each time he is asked.

  • Derangement: Mushroom Addiction. While Jinx does not admit to his addiction, even to himself, he is nevertheless very dependent on the newly budded glowing mushrooms on the edge of the clan territory. He usually spends several hours a week in a near-unconscious stupor, and will disappears for days to gather the best specimens.

Lax
Clan Duty: Farmer/Gatherer
Mate: Cosset
  • Persona: Lax is the odd man out in almost every situation.

  • Background: Though Lax was fascinated with the splendor of nature as a hatchling, he never developed much skill by way of magic.
  • Derangement: Stutters. Though usually stalwart, Lax is frequently embarrassed and his stutters to the point of incoherence when under enough social strain.

  • Persona: Vain layabout. Keeps his own lair completely lined with glowing and shiny trinkets.
  • Background: Camarilla's son. The lovechild of a wayward romance, generally scorned among the clan for his mother's erring. As a light dragon, he has grown up rather wan and stunted in the pervading darkness of the tangled woods.
  • Derangement: None Manifested

Frenzy
Clan Duty: Member of the Guard
Mate: None
  • Persona: Practical, ruthless in battle, and terribly protective of Augury. He is not in the least bit troubled by having come to the shadows after living with his old clan among the Sunbeam Ruins, though some would consider it a betrayal. He cares nothing for the gods and enjoys the battles he has as a light dragon among the shadows.
  • Background: Stole Augery's egg during a raid while he was little more than a hatchling himself. Though he and his old clan had hoped for a wildclaw, what hatched was a plaguling coatl that came to be named Augury. Though he has guarded Augury as a friend ever since, their relationship usually seems platonic at its warmest. Frenzy's interest wanders towards males, while his coatl friend has no love besides her magic.
  • Derangement: Frenzy never speaks. Though his screeching, hissing, and roaring in a fight demonstrates his ability to physical ability to communicate, he has never once spoken in his life.
