[nextcol]As you stumble through a copse of trees and into the next patch of the wood, you spot the facade of an unfamiliar structure. The tree itself is old and gnarled, its tapering branches rising up through the wood in spirelets that seem to outreach to the sky beyond. An elegant sign swings above the entrance that reads [i]The Heartwood Rescue[/i] in a rather stylish script.
You venture a look inside, curious now that your wandering has brought you this far. Upon entering, you immediately encounter a young, stern looking Skydancer who fixes you in her gaze at first sight.
"Hello there," she says. "I am Lia, the keeper of this home. Who might you be?"

Without giving you a moment to answer, Lia carries on, already heading off in another direction. You scurry to follow her as she prattles on. How can one who looks so serious be so featherbrained?
"Yes, now that you are here," Lia says, "it would be most appreciated if you were to take one of these fine younglings home with you. Now now, I know that they are not all so young, but everyone needs a home, you see. No room to judge in this wood, so mind yourself."
Lia stops abruptly at what appears to be a spiraling staircase, leading up and up into the elder tree. She whirls around and her unsettlingly stark gaze finds you once again. "Now then, the choice is yours. Continue up this set of stairs and you will find all of the rescue's temporary residents. Of course, they cannot stay here forever, which is precisely where you come in. Listen carefully once you've made your decision..."

[*] This is not a fodder thread, so please do not adopt with the intent to exalt. At the very least, I'd like you to keep them long enough to breed them at least once, but if not that, 5-7 days. You could also return them here if you no longer want them so they can find another good home.
[*] When asking for a dragon, [b]please include the BBCode - not their ID number or their description[/b]. [b]Also tell me what you would like your dragon to be named![/b]
[*] Please ask for dragons politely. You don't have to go overboard or anything, but a little friendliness goes a long way! Be nice to others as well.
[*] First come, first serve! No ping list privileges other than knowing when new dragons are in. Whoever asks for a dragon first is the one who receives it first - unless they do not collect their dragon from the CR in time, in which case the dragon will go back up for adoption.
[*] On that note, please pick up your dragon from the CR within 2-3 days. I will not be holding dragons for the time being, so if you miss out on the trade and do not respond to me within that time frame, the dragon will be placed back up for adoption, as stated above.
[*] All dragons will be unnamed unless otherwise stated. I will not send them out unnamed, so please remember to provide a name for whichever dragon you ask for in order to make the whole process easier. If a dragon is already named and you dislike it, I may be able to provide you with a scroll of renaming, but this is not a guarantee.
