Dragons whisper softly to each other as they wait for the night's activity to start. Many have come to share their adventures, some true, some not. The Tavernkeep takes to the center in front of the fire, many seem ready to hear of his time fighting the evils of the world. “Who wants to start?” He looks around the room. Eager dragons rise up and the quiet of the night is broken. “I'll tell the story of the time I fought a fifty foot serpent!” “Last week it was forty!” “What about the time I faced the harpies to rescue the lost hatchlings?” “You've told that ten times!” Chaos erupts in the room until the Tavernkeep roars drawing attention back to him. He looks around the room, trying to decide the answer. It seemed the regulars had all grown tired of the same stories. They needed something new. A wide grin spreads across his face seeing some newcomers at the back. “I’d like to tell you a story… but I say that all the time. Tonight, I think you should tell the story. Don't be shy now, tell us of your adventures.” “No, no, tell of us trickery!” “Perhaps romance?” The Tavernkeep sighs, “Well, seems we all want something different.” He thinks for a moment, “I think I have an idea.” [Center]--------------[/center] Pinglist: @Keyina

Welcome to this odd raffle.


Short version: Fulfil writing prompts, get tickets, don't be a jerk to anyone.


Long version:

First some rules and an explanation. Below you will find dragons with different requirements wanting different stories. Each have different prizes, you can enter into each section but you can only win one prize overall (Depending on entries, so if only three people enter each section, they'll each win something from each section). Bumping is not included, anyone can win bumping prizes.

It is a raffle, this means anyone who enters and meets the requirements gets a ticket for the prize. As long as some effort is made you get a ticket. This does mean I don't expect to see any text speak in the stories, unless somehow it makes sense. You may tell the story in any way you see fit though. Letters, first person sharing, second person, third person, a poem though that may be odd, even a piece of art depicting a story is welcome, anyway you want as long as the story is conveyed.

Character wise: You are encouraged to use your in! But, if you wish to use other characters that's fine, and yes that includes fanfics. If you need help just let me know.

You will receive a reply from the dragon(s) the story is for once you've earned a ticket for their section. This may take up to 48 hours, but likely be under 24.

Can you write one story and cover multiple requests? Yes. Just start with a note saying who the story is for. This likely won't work for Thrugzug and Francis though, they're weird.

Length is up to you, I just hope everyone has fun.

I'll draw a group of names for each section at once, this way if your name is drawn for multiple sections you can choose which one you prefer. (Or just give me an order of preference if you enter more than one)

I'm not judging based on your writing, because that would biased and I'd feel bad. It would feel like I would be saying someone's effort wasn't enough that's why it's a raffle. Meet the requirements of the writing prompt, get a ticket. So don't be a jerk to those who win. Don't bring someone down for their writing. Everyone here is on equal ground.
I appreciate the effort anyone is willing to put in but it is ultimately just for fun. Enjoy yourself, don't stress.

Pretty straight forward, read the prompt, write the story fulfilling the requirements for the section you want to enter.

You can begin each post stating which dragon the story is for but it's not necessary. Please do put stories in individual posts unless you're going to attempt combining prompts, which you can do just let me know you are!

Please do not use a blinding font colour and avoid making your text super tiny. Chances are my read through will be on a mobile device.
