There is no place for such noble concepts. In a land full of pestilence, it’s all about survival. The strong ones survive, the weak perish. Survival of the fittest, plain and simple. And yet there are ancient bloodlines who have braved the Scarred Wasteland for many generations, prospering in the grimmest conditions where others struggled and failed, fading away into oblivion. They say they have been there since the creation of the Wyrmwound, the festering wound at the heart of the Scarred Wasteland, created by the Plaguebringer herself. And they are proud to be her most resilient children. Until they weren’t. When a new Virus, now widely known as the Nosos Virus, emerged from deep within the Plaguelands, their time had finally come. They were tested and failed. The old families were the first to be infected and many of them wasted away. Some stayed in the Scarred Wasteland, now mere shadows of their former pride and glory, some were expelled by warmongering neighbors or rivals. And the Virus spread, it spread faster and wider as anyone could have anticipated. But who were the first ones, who was “patient zero”? Maybe we’ll never know. Yet there are rumors they still live among us, trying to find a cure for the curse they brought upon their fellow coatls. Participants with a drawn ticket will be ranked from first drawn to last drawn and asked to respond with their choice in prizes depending on their number, for example #1 picks one prize, #2 picks two prizes, #3 three prizes and so forth. #1 would receive their chosen prize, #2 the first available prize on the list and so forth. The lore can be about a afflicted you have, would like to have (like scry or something), one someone else has. Or based off the lore in general (just writing a story).
