I have read so many fiction books. like, wow.
i'd have to say my all time favorite (aside from Harry Potter) (You know what scratch that. including Harry Potter.) is Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. it is beautiful and gay and thrilling and heartbreaking (sometimes literally) and clever and has ruined me for other ya novels because it is so good. (it also has a sequel, which is even better.) it involves six edgy, eloquent megadorks plotting a megaheist.

Darkstormyheart took my first thought but i just finished The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco. Its very good! The view point switches between past and present so thats a downside.

Shardwell Series
And really, my summary of it wouldn't do it justice. But It's actually written by my math and english teachers from Sophmore-Senior year!
They put their all into the book, and I believe have 5 out at the current time. Google it a bit and definitely get your own book from a library if it's there.
