I've been thinking about things and want to step down as head of the GWS.
I enjoy running charity raffles, but have found that despite my desires to do more stuff with the GWS, I lack the drive and energy to do so.
I'd still like to be a part of it, but I'm hoping that stepping down would get other interested folk more involved, who may be able to do a better job with getting people involved and interested in GWS things and expanding the society.
Please feel free to remake this thread with someone else as host and leader. I can also provide access to the spreadsheets.

The Society started as an idea on how to encourage RLC charity donations without having to always organize art raffles, since FR banned item raffles for charity. It has since expanded to include both IRL and FR community involvement.
Our mission is to encourage people to be the best versions of themselves, for betterment of self, the community, and the world.
[b][font=skia][size=5]Society Membership[/b]
There are two kinds of membership, with two corresponding badges: Golden Wings and Rainbow Scales. If you qualify for both badges, you'll get a combined badge. Details on membership perks and how to earn membership are posted below.
Each badge will be customized with every member's username and user ID. If you are a member and want to put your badge into your profile or signature, you must also link back to this thread. This way, people can check the member's list to ensure you an official member of the Society.

We like to see a mix of long-term and short-term participation in things, and we especially like to see hosting and helping with large projects.

When it comes to charity, it's the thought that counts! Yes, specific events and places will count as charities if the cause is a noble one and the charity a legitimate one.
