A very scary night?!"[/i][color=#643F9C] Peals of laughter erupted from behind a crumbling gravestone as an old Pearlcatcher swept into view; she held herself in a manner that spoke of her old age and antiquated lifestyle. She coughed and chuckled in an apologetic manner- you supposed that it was uncouth of her to behave in such a way. Her pair of thick rimmed glasses reflected the shimmer of moonlight that filtered through the corpse of trees that lined the edge of the imposing ramshackle property. Movement in one of the windows sent shivers down your spine and you fluffed out your wings nervously, scanning all the windows but not finding the figure that you had just glimpsed previously. [color=#C1272D][i]"Oh that's right- we're holding a [b]big[/b] raffle and a bunch of stalls and competitions inside our [b]supposedly[/b] haunted house, with a fair few prizes available to be won by you, our beloved guests. We'd love it if you could join us as we celebrate our wondrous holiday, Trickmurk."[/i][color=#643F9C] Turning, the old lady glided- almost as if she was floating- up towards the front of the mansion. Curiously compelled, you followed her up the gnarly overgrown path to the front door. An ornate brass knocker was hung on the door, the ring held in the maw of a ferocious looking Ethereal Trickster. Grasping the knocker, she let it bang once before the door creaked open, letting the dragons past. Out of the corner of your eye, it seemed as though the eyes of the knocker followed you and that it's mane was really made out of wisps, like it was in real life. Upon closer inspection however, the knocker was just that; a knocker. Taking a deep breath to settle your nerves and attempt to flatten your fluffed up scales and fur, you dutifully trotted behind the Pearlcatcher. [color=#C1272D][i]"They're fairly easy to win, the prizes I mean; enter dragons for tickets and play some games in the rooms throughout this house whilst we total up and draw the winners towards the end of the festival week."[/i][color=#643F9C] She paused, turning in the foyer of the home to give you a big eerie grin. As she turned within the moonlight streaming through a large archaic window, her form flickered becoming opaque, tendrils of smoky mist cascading off her seemingly incorporeal form. Stepping towards you and out of the moonlight, she once again looked... well as normal as she was before. You blinked several times, trying to process what you had just seen. [color=#C1272D][i]"Oh please forgive me, where are my manners? My name is Pandora, and I will be your guide this Trickmurk,"[/i][color=#643F9C] Smiling sweetly, she waited for you to take in the knowledge and respond in turn, before indicating the various doorways that led to rooms throughout the mansion. After some contemplation, you head off towards one particularly interesting doorway. As you reached the doorway, Pandora spoke up, addressing you one final time before you exited the foyer. [color=#C1272D][i]"I must warn you however- this mansion is extremely large, and seems to have new rooms and hallways added to it almost constantly, some 'magic disaster or some such'. In any case, please try not to get lost...
