Spellweaver's faithful comet whizzed around her, whistling encouragement, while Runemaster's Golem buzzed in quiet anticipation. Usually known as pyromaniacs and magical inventors, the Spiral pair delighted in causing mayhem--and had developed a (completely non-magical) routine to take full advantage of that. [b]At the sound of the whistle, both Spirals skated out onto the ice, their bodies undulating around each other seamlessly. The looked almost like a perfect whole, rather than two separate dragons. One entity complete in itself, their movements perfectly timed with each other. In the background a quiet piece of music had begun, providing a beautiful counterpoint to their antics. As the skating continued, however, both the graceful movements and the music became more wild, and Spell and Rune began to twist into figure-eights and combinations that accented their differences, rather than showed off their seamless cooperation. It took only a few minutes for the dragons of their Clan to realize what the athletic pair were doing: They were using their own bodies and the music to simulate one of the explosions they loved so much. The music built to a crescendo as the two Spirals twirled around each other...and then broke apart, skating to opposite ends of the rink, where they performed two perfect quarter-axles at the same exact moment in time. With a flip of their wings both dragons landed perfectly, just as the music stopped. The watching dragons seemed a little stunned at this display, so different from the gentle movements that everyone else had done...[/b][/I] @JinxMoonstone (Can't remember if we're supposed to ping or not...)

Didn't even acknowledge his frail clanmate, who so rudely interrupted the seafoam-colored Coatl's hard work by scaring him from behind. But finally his masterpiece was done. He stood back to look over the work of art. It was a very, very complex scene of the birth of the Icewarden ; complete with the bickering Earthshaker and Flamecaller. All little bigger than him, it was a wonder that he could even get his claws on a block of ice that big. But, with the help of his Cloudkeeper Herald and three whole days with very few breaks (and one hour to watch Seprina), he finished it on time. His work complete, the dragon curled up around the Icewarden's hind legs to take a nap with the three icy dragon statues. She should've known Morbid wouldn't be able to resist himself once they got to the rink. The duo, mismatched in breed but matching in colors, strapped on ice skates carefully fashioned from leather and coppercoil segments by their clan's crafters. As Morbid polished his wing blades from last year's Brightshine Jubilee, Garnet shined her precious soulbound pearl. After a few more squabbles and a whole lot of prep work, the pair headed out onto the ice. The routine, ironically, had an extremely romantic vibe to it. They topped off with the male Skydancer holding his female Pearlcatcher partner above his head, her pearl balanced on her tail tip. Or so Garnet thought it would end. Rather, it ended with her getting pulled down in true love's embrace with a big smooch to the lips, with her pearl coiled between their tails. As they bowed and curtsied, Garnet struggled to contain her aggravation toward Morbid. [b]"Didn't think they'd even make onto the ice,"[/b] Seprina sarcastically chuckled. Mairwen snickered with her, adding, [b]"I actually think Garnet's got a crush on him, despite how the love seems like it's one way!"[/b]

They already have good chemistry, and Mako really wanted to enter. Nothing appealed to her more than gliding around on the ice! Topaz wanted to enter with her, but there was too much of a size difference. Quartz stepped in to see if he could keep up with her, and found it surprisingly fun-- he just might have a new hobby!

He is a bigger dragon and doesn't like to throw himself up into the air for fear of crashing into the icy water. So, he spends his time making figure eights in the ice. Sometimes he even does it backwards. @JinxMoonstone[/center]

Day 3 - Ice Skating Eme Nature [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=9782882] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/97829/9782882_350.png[/img] [/url] Easily the most graceful dragon in the clan, Cierra was the clear choice to enter in the ice skating competition. Her twists and twirls are both elegant and daring. Add in a little bit of luck and she should have no problem dominating in this event.
