The soil there felt doughy and somehow sticky making slurpy sounds at every step. The smell, no, the reek of this place was becoming unbearable. The abundance of lifeforms of outer side of the Rotrock Rim changed into variety of bizarre creatures, which the spiral had to taste because of his everlasting hunger. Insects he dug off the ground were too small and wiggly, the dragon nearly despaired, but... He spotted a carcass of some animal with some meat leftovers on it. At least Wyrm wanted to believe it was an animal. He inspected the corpse closer and wried in disgust - it all was covered with small larvae. "Not in hell I'd eat something like it!", he thought. But a few moments later he was already ravening the poor carcass, licking off tiny grubs and crunching bones. By the end of his lunch Wyrm was feeling dizzy and nauseous, but he didn't want to stay in this place anymore, so he left as fast as he could in his state. He was all tottering and didn't fall into the Wyrmwound by a sheer luck. But he finally was swaying there, on the brink of the rotting cauldron barely understanding what was going on. Though the spiral was vaguely feeling danger and attempted to retreat. And no wonder his feet slipped right into the the lake, dragging his whole body down like a ribbon. Wyrm wallowed, moving all his limbs chaotically desperately trying to find something to cling to, but there was nothing to help him... But at the very last moment he miraculous managed to grab something firm enough to climb up. He got onto the bank, trembling, spewed finally and passed out.[/indent] [rule] AND I hope it's not against the rules, I've sketched this post-related pic real quick, but I'll remove it if it shouldn't be there,,, [img]https://i.imgur.com/gEJ9ett.png[/img]

She sees a mysterious dragon coming her way. Standing tall to get a better view, she is wary of this stranger. Keeping an eye on the dragon, Gilda decides it doesn't seem to be a threat as of yet.With a nose clearing snort, she continues on with her search for wonderful things to take home. Not for the first time, Gilda wonders about her parents. Do they want to see her? Are they well, or even alive? Enough!, she tells her rambling thoughts. This is not why she is here. Maybe after collecting what she can for the lair, she will return to seek them out. She continues north aware of the mysterious stranger that seems to be following.

Unlike much of the debris strewn on the shore, this one looks relatively intact. She pries it loose, and it tumbles towards her. It's not too heavy; whatever's inside could still be valuable, though. Corwin shatters the lid with one quick blow. Inside is some furry fabric with a scarf of striped cloth. It looks like a costume used by dragons to portray Beastclans -- this one seems to have been made to imitate the Longneck fighters who frequent the Arena.

Picking through the tendrils, Nines found some large chunks of fur and hide along with some impressive black horns. What manner of beast could they have come from? Something huge with a need to defend itself. He shudders to think of what creature could be so large and still need horns to defend itself. Still, that's the way life is in this land of survivors. He knows the hunters back home will appreciate such spoils to help them blend in with their prey, or the warriors to seem even more intimidating to foes. He tucks the horns in with the hide and fur, tying up the package neatly with some sinew.

Whether it was part of a rib cage or spine or femur, he didn't care.
