The endless flat plains strewn with organic reminders of its treacherous conditions offered little in the way of hiding. Its teeth clacked in thought as it wondered if such bright coloring was more dangerous, or empowering. It decided that perhaps the boldness was equal parts assertive and a potential invitation for trouble. The mirror gave a lazy stretch, arching its back as the gesture rolled down its spine, settling with a wiggle of its tail. It started for the Guardian at a trot, calling out once it was within a few paces. "Good 'morrow, glad to see you bear the gift of our last encounter. Please excuse the absence of proper introduction. I only give my name to those which are met twice, for they have proven a measure of survival is within them." It slowed to keep pace with the Guardian. "I am Claw. Would you impart unto me the honor of knowing whom I greet in this second of days? @sylvain 10/8 Exploration [Quote][center][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=8378659] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/83787/8378659_350.png[/img] [/url] The borderlands where wind and plague converged was awash with gentle combat; the contagion at it's furthest reach did its best to breech the elemental divide whilst enchanted winds deterred it; the playful winds crossed and devolved into hot, pungent currents that danced inland towards the boneyard, wafting about persons and things that did little to break the collective momentum. It was at this juncture that a haggard-looking beast regarded a positively exotic spiral. It found the waves of fine hair bursting with color fascinating. The spectcles, were they real? Then the lights and zing of electricity within them... topped off with a festive dash of plague in the form of the hewn fabric at its middle. The guardian's mouth twitched into a smile, hidden beneath her furs and helm. She drew in an audible breath, and when she exhaled a fine, green-tinged smoke was expelled. Close to protection and shelter, yet exposed to potential spread or eruption by the most potent of all diseased matter. Some said that the contagion roots fed from the bottom of the pit itself. Those same believed that this tainted the groundwater as the tendrils strove to leech its strains to the edges of the plaguelands. From a darkened entrance at the inner ring of Rotrock, a luminescent being emerged with a cloud of sound: [I]whirr, click, whirr, clang...[/I] It came to Ragrima, drawn by his silken mane, as though spun from the deep-seated plantlife of the Tidelord's domain. As the thing reached a polite distance it stopped, sharply swiveling it's head, as mechanisms shifted and settled along its jaw and neck. Laser-bright pinpoints could be seen through its goggles. Then its lower mandible extended, mouth agape, and a voice issued from its throat that its maw did not animate to: "Creation... Create... I-I do... I fell into the cauldron. Now the cau-cau-cauldron is me... Take these and create... c-c-create..." Arrerun glanced around once more, and spotted what looked like a fox-horse- something looking back at her. It warily padded forward as Arrerun sat as still as a statue. The creature nestled into the fur on her side, and she realized it was friendly-at least to her. "I guess we are in this together now, huh?" She said to the patchwork creature, which almost tweeted in response.
