Quests & Challenges

Hey... So one day I thought to myself, hmm. How can I [s]torture myself[/s] challenge myself today? I was playing around in the Scrying Workshop looking for a challenge idea and then I thought of this. Why don't I try to breed myself an XXX dragon for each color of the traditional rainbow? I don't believe anyone has done this before. I'm going to try to get some dragons for red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. I'm not going to just buy the dragons I need, because that's cheating the challenge. [s]and too expensive.[/s] I will buy dragons to narrow the range though. Just to make it harder for myself, in the end I want them all to have the same genes and breed. When I have all the colors I'll just buy them the changes, but AGHH SO MUCH MONEY I DON'T HAVE WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELFFF!? Hopefully I'll eventually be able to hatch a nest every day for this eventually, but my virtual wallet is suffering enough already, and will suffer so much more through this challenge, so we're gonna have to wait and see. Let's start! I was digging through my lair for some potential starting dragons and I found Aya. She has the colors Marigold, Marigold and Orange, which is a good start. Funny how we're not starting with red, huh? His tert is Ivory, which could be better, but tbh it could be a LOT worse. Also I hope the babies pick up more of their mama's genes and breed. Aya and Aurelius are now RTB! They sit on a nest of 4 eggs! Wowza, off to a great start aren't we? I guess I will see you guys in 5 days. Hopefully, one of the babies will have the colors I want, but if not I'll just pick the one that's the closest and try to get them a good mate who narrows the colors more.

Update! Woo! I managed to get 2 dragons that will help me in the challenge. Unfortunately, none of them ACTUALLY have the colors that I need, but they're in a good range. Also they're pretty This is Clover. She isn't RTB until September 20th, so I have plenty of time to find her a mate. This is Gleam. He's RTB tomorrow so I'll try to find a good mate for him that can get me Violet. I'm legit not trying to get Imperials, they're just the dragons I'm finding. These two are also probably permas. I should be here soon with another update. Probably tomorrow when I find Gleam a mate and put them on a nest.

ALRIGHTY! Update time again! Most importantly, I found Gleam a mate for any 7kt on the AH. But I mean, I can see why so inexpensive. This is Roxy! They aren't even my favorite dragon) She has Amethyst, [b]Violet,[/b] and Grape. Great purple range for the two of them. They're now sitting on a nest of 4 eggs. 2 quadrupelets in a row? There goes all my luck for this challenge. I bet their all gonna look just like Roxy. I also got Clover a mate, this is Emerald and he looks [b]Great![/b] think I found myself a perma if I maybe change his tert gene. More in the purply range, but I guess Indigo itself isn't that fair off from purple anyway. This guy will be RTB in 12 days, and I should have an indigo mate for him soon. Why is this challenge mostly imps and faes so far? I mean, I don't mind, they're great, but what? Anyway.. I'll get back to you when I have another update, but I won't post multiple times a day ofc. If you forgot, Aya and Aurelius' nest are hatching in 3 days!

(Aya is staying with me because she's on my main coli team) He is an XXY, so perhaps I'll try a few times on the swap thread or something. If anyone wants Amba's siblings, they can post here to buy one. Tomorrow they are going on the AH. On a less exciting note, I found Prism a mate on the AH. Star has Lapis, Lapis, and Cobalt.
