[b]LOG 1[/b] So! As if I don't have enough breeding projects already [s](this will be #14)[/s], I decided to start up another project. And since this one's going to be my biggest project yet (having to breed 2 different lineages to eventually become the final breeding pair), I've decided to keep a log of the whole thing. So I ended up having to break it down by color and gene - get a laced dragon of the right colors and a toxin dragon of the right colors and breed them for appropriate colors and genes. And then duplicate that with 2 more unrelated dragons for Lineage B. Unfortunately, a lot of the dragons with orca/x/ice have a white-ranged secondary color, so that means I'll need an extra generation to find a partner that has a far-off secondary color to get me close to the final colors of splash and soil. They're due to breed on 7/25 and should hatch on 7/30. In the meantime, got to look for a second pair of grandparents for Lineage B! Decided against getting [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=53137719][color=#e3b044]53137719[/color][/url] since he's a bit above what I want to pay for this project, and since he's the only laced gene dragon with the right color range, decided to just go for colors and toxin in Lineage B and focus on laced in Lineage A. Next step was to hit up the AH for a mate for Finnye in either splash-chartreuse or soil-spring range to get a splash or soil tox baby respectively. I got pretty lucky and found Robin here at exactly 10kt, with a secondary just a bit past splash at robin, and with the appropriate gene and breed rarities to make it more likely for Finnye's genetics to breed true.
