...Too many trinkets in a row. Since I don't really want to draw [i]again,[/i] I'll do some lore.
I'm going with the headcanon that dragons age from hatchling to adult fairly quickly, and after they're grown up, their aging slows down.

Winsor has been stuck in this place for some months now. He doesn't know for sure exactly how long he's been here, but it's been long enough.
He's noticed a lot of strange things here.
For example, the sand isn't yellow or pearly white like he was told. Instead, it was iridescent and changed from pink to light purple, and sometimes blue depending on the time of day. During the night, it gave off an almost eerie glow and made him feel like there's more to this place than he initially thought.
The sandstorms here were also, to put it simply, mystifying. More than once he swore he saw someone he may have known or a member of his clan, wandering within the eye of the ferocious winds. But in the blink of an eye, they were gone.
Maybe he was just hallucinating.
...
Where exactly was "here," anyways?
Winsor doesn't know.
He doesn't know a lot of things.
Like why the stars in the sky seemed to swirl every night, or why the sky wasn't blue anymore and was a rather muted pink, or why he never saw a single other soul in this place. He doesn't know.
What he does know is how to survive.
And right now he's surviving.
But is just surviving really [i]living?[/i]

Hey, there’s a glitch to where Materials show up as Trinkets! As someone who has been to the Mire more times than is healthy, I can tell you that Hematite is in fact a Material and not a Trinket! Be sure to double check anytime you get one from now on!
