We're at 4,430 pounds of sand--can we hit 5,000 before the week is out? There are only two days left to get in your sand and secret badge guesses!

As a lot of people are struggling with #3 (seems I might have made that one a little trickier than even the trickiness I was aiming for--oops!), I will offer up another hint in the hopes it helps you all a bit without giving the whole game away:
"Metal detector" is meant more literally than the actual device... :)
