I made Zeus a Skydancer partly to reflect his dominion over the air and sky, and partly because of his association with Eagles and other birds. So feathered wings were definitely a must-have. Also, Skydancers are, in my opinion, the most handsome breed, which is fitting for such an... ahem, active lover... as Zeus.
I made his primary and secondary Raspberry, in an attempt to capture the ill-defined Tyrian Purple color. Zeus is the king of the gods, and for the Greeks and Romans, Tyrian Purple was the color of nobility, with people like emperors wearing clothes dyed solidly in that color just to show off their power.
His tertiary is Cyan Crackle, to match and extend the lightning effect from his eyes to his entire body.

I chose pearlcatcher, because it has a mane xd To show him as a golden boy. That's why his mane color is gold. The second and third genes I choose, I wanted it to look like lightning in the sky. As eyes I stayed by the lightning element but I choose glowing in on eye type. After all, this is a deity ;>

Old, craggy, and full of bluster, I picture Zeus as a giant Gaoler with an equally giant attitude. Whenever angered, his eyes would crackle with raw energy. His wispy blue fur would billow in the wind with every step and gesture. Who knows what color his mane and wings once were - they have been permanently streaked and highlighted with his flashes of lightning fury. And his horns and claws would curl like the swirling clouds he looked down from. (Periwinkle Phantom, Cyan Breakup, White Gnarlhorns, Lightning Primal eyes)

I wanted to create the apperance of lightning rippling across a dark storm cloud. I made him an imperial because the imperials are a very regal breed and fitting for a king

Going with the turbulent nature of a storm, this Zeus has the darkening heavens in his wings. The clouds from his eyes swirl around the rest of his body through the smirch gene as a constant storm, with pinstripe to give a feeling of harsh gusts of wind.

Zeus' appearance mirrors the turbulent personality of the
Thunder God. Like his stormy nature, Zeus' wings portray
the rolling thunder clouds that may cover the sky when his
mood darkens. Lightning ranging from blinding yellow to
fluorescent blue can be spotted flashing through the dark
storm clouds. Yet when Zeus is at peace, the sky turns to
a calm, clear blue.

Zeus is well known to be very extravagant and over the top. Thus, he had to be an imperial decked in gold. However, it's also well known that he has a bit of a temper. You can literally see the lightning flaring around his body... I'd get out of the way if I were you.

I wanted to make Zeus a skydancer because of his association with the sky and the ability to turn into an eagle. I also scried him to make him look uninteresting and likethe common folk (or dragon). This is a nod towards his ability to shapeshift and to take on the voice of other people.
Disclaimer: Sorry if there’s typos, I’m half asleep rn

Zeus is not all he used to be. In the ancient times, his imposing, royal form could send lesser men to their knees, cowering under his might. And whilst that may still be true, Zeus's pride has been ruptured in the modern age. No longer does he have devout worshipers, praying to him for safe passage at sea and bountiful rains to end a drought.
No- instead the mortals have become cocky.
Now they harness Zeus's power like a toy- letting his lightning race through circuits and wires, inhibiting it's true glory for their own pleasure. They don't need Zeus anymore- a lightning storm seems more like a parlour trick compared to their imitation.
Hera tells Zeus he's being unreasonable, and should be glad that the mortals are becoming more self-sufficient. Indeed- with better divorce laws, Hera's own work at struggling to keep even the most incompatible marriages together has finally become obsolete, and she's nothing but glad for it. But if one thing had stayed consistent- it was Zeus's ego.
And so he fled to lesser planets, soaring across the universe. He electrocuted meteorites in his rage, whipped up terrible storms on Jupiter, and brought down jails of acid rain on Venus. The stars began to embed themselves in his scales, begging for mercy from an angry god. But Zeus would not relent. A lonely galaxy has no voice to plead.

I chose smirch to simulate bolts of lightning across the cosmos, as unlike crackle, this tert seems to glow with energy and stains the surrounding body with its colour. I also thought it looked a little more lightning-like than crackle, at least in the way I've used it here. As explained in the lore above, the (overcast) starmap prim is meant to represent the stars embedded into Zeus's scales, wrought with woe from the angry god. And I loved the unity that noxtide brought with the cobalt colouring. The imperial breed was chosen because Zeus is heralded as the king of the gods, and having a suitably royal breed seemed fitting.
