[center][u][b]Wednesday - Lore Question[/b][/u] My Clan is canonically huge, so they can grow their own food, they have a herb garden, hunters and foragers that supply the Clan with food, and they also buy food. Plus my plan was to make [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=24697084][img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/avatars/246971/24697084.png[/img][/url] Radiance a solitary Witch that uses her Water Magic abilities to foresee the future to know which medicinal herbs she should grow in her garden. I'll probably design a proper Clan layout someday in which I'll include a farm that works with magitek; I honestly hadn't thought about adding a farm to design until now if I am to be honest. Hm... I'll probably put the farm on one of those floating isles that are found in The Starfall Isles, I think it would look pretty cool! [emoji=pink star size=1][/center]

The bulk of the clan's food is traded or purchased from other lairs -- groups of dragons that specialize in gardening, farming, fishing, etc. Most of these goods are purchased in nearby towns or marketplaces. The clan does have its own gatherers, however. The hunters, fishers, and foragers prefer to gather within the Sunbeam Ruins as it is considered safer, but they are also sent into other regions fairly frequently. There, they may make contact with allies or other local clans to facilitate gathering. This is both for safety reasons and to avoid encroaching on other dragons' private property. Food taken to the lair is stored in suspended animation to keep it nice and fresh. It is split fairly evenly between the clan residents and the [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=28592608]Crispy Phoenix Restaurant[/url], which serves a lot of customers every day.

I just made one of my favorite veggie dishes this weekend. I'm not really sure now where I got it, but I've been making it for years.

Calico Corn Salad

1/2 pound fresh or frozen corn, thawed
1/4 cup diced peppers (two colors)
1 T fresh cilantro (if you use dried, try a little less)
1 T lime juice
2 T mayo

The quantities are approximate because because I don't really measure.
Mix it all up and chill at least an hour.

I've also made it with fresh basil instead of cilantro, which gives it a little punch. :)
