Welcome to my garden! This week is a time to celebrate for us Nature dragons and so I’ve agreed to open my garden to those of you who want to explore nature yourselves. My roses take pride of place in the centre of my garden but there’s a lot more to see if you take the time to have a look. For those of you who might need a little guidance or want to share what you find, I’ve created a little scavenger hunt for you. Each day I will give you something to find and all you have to do is post it here for all to see! You can either take a picture of this item you’ve found yourself IRL or post a picture from the internet of your favourite item if you are unable to take a picture. This way you don't need a garden to join the hunt! Take a picture of any flower you pass today, be it in your own garden, a vase or even a flower in a florists window and post it here for all to see! Perhaps, like Loreka, it’s pouring with rain outside and a walk in the garden isn’t really possible! Nevermind, just post a picture of your favourite flower instead! [b][url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/2685314/10#post_39085928]Day 2 - Insects - Monday[/url][/b] Some insects are welcome in a garden whilst others can be a pain as they nibble away at my beautiful plants! What’s your opinion on all things creepy and crawly? Are you scared or do you love them? Perhaps you may even have them as a pet? Take a picture and show us! [b]Tips:[/b] Bugs, insects, arachnids, molluscs etc all count. I know it can be quite difficult to get a picture of one, so posting pictures from the internet is absolutely fine if you can't. Please no dead ones though if possible, i'm not sure if everybody would agree with that. [b][url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/2685314/19#post_39100458]Day 3 - Animals-Tuesday[/url][/b] You won’t find many large animals roaming around the rose garden ([url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&id=319838&tab=dragon&did=35953917]Ralas[/url] tends to scare them out for me) but there are usually plenty of mice and birds that like to visit the garden that prey on bugs and worms. We’ve also been known to have the odd cat jump over the fence and even a few moles ruining the grass! Mice and moles might not be that easy to take a photo of, so if your pet is lounging around instead, send a photo in! [font=verdana] [b][url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/2685314/26#post_39114635]Day 4 - Minerals[/url] [/b] Perhaps at first glance not such an interesting topic but if you look hard enough there are plenty of objects in the garden that aren't brimming with life but are interesting all the same. Maybe you have an old statue or a cool ornament in your garden? Most rocks might be pretty boring but some minerals come in beautiful colours and many people collect them. They might be worth a bit of money too! Maybe something alive has left something behind, like a huge cobweb covered in dew. If you look hard enough that twig might just look like something else too.... [/font] [b][url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/2685314/31#post_39127999]Day 5 - Pond Life![/url] [/b] In the far corner of the garden is a small pond which seems to be bubbling with life. You can see a few fish swimming around and if you weren’t mistaken, a frog just hopped behind a plant. It’s not quite big enough for a duck but you’re sure if you asked nicely, Rozsada might just let you submit one of those too. Post a picture of anything you might usually find in or by a pond! [b][url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/2685314/36#post_39141367]Day 6 - Edibles[/url] [/b] Many people grow gardens to spend time to relax in and to admire beautiful plants but others grow plants for more practical reasons. Growing vegetables can be really rewarding when you see your hard work come into fruition. You might also find some wild mushrooms on your travels or fruit growing in an orchard. Apart from feeding yourself, you might also put out nuts and seeds in the garden for birds, especially in winter. Whatever you grow, it's all good for a picture! [b][url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/2685314/41#post_39158198]Day 7 - Wild Card[/url][/b] For the last day I thought I'd leave it up to you to show me something in your garden that you'd like to share with us and haven't been able to already. It could be a view of your garden, balcony or wherever nearby you've been taking pictures from. If not maybe you'd like to write some RP from one of your dragons exploring the rose garden or enjoying Greenskeeper. Maybe there's something you've been dying to show me all week and it just hasn't fit any of the topics so far. The decision is up to you!
