The goal of this event is to help some of your dragons find love with some of the young Bachelors & Bachelorettes of Everbloom Vale. The story is told from the perspective of a dragon who is visiting the town during their spring festival, hoping to possibly meet your one true love. Each day, a new dragon will be posted to the Daily Theme page, along with some lore about how you encounter them. They will also have lore in their biographies that can tell you a little more about their personalities. Then, you can you submit one of your dragons that you think would make a good mate for that dragon and, once the day is over, all the entries will be judged, and a winner will be chosen. A new piece of lore about the two dragons will be added, and the dragon of that day’s theme will be given to the winner. Then, the next day’s theme will be posted, and it will start all over again. This event will run from May 26th to June 1st, with the last winner announced on June 2nd. The square sits on the edge of town and is full of attractions ranging from carts filled with the foods and wares of the local merchants, to a stage for music and acrobatics, and beyond! In the center of the square sits the giant fountain for which it is named. The fountain depicts a large stone Wildclaw playing a lute and spitting water, which the townsfolk cover in flower garlands of all shapes and sizes. Many dragons congregate here to relax and escape the heat, and more recently, to take part in the ever-growing tradition of romance. Every year, young bachelor/ette dragons congregate by the fountain and adorn themselves with leis and garlands from the many flower carts around the square, hoping to find their one true love. Caught up in your clan duties, you didn’t have time to make it for most of the week and are just now arriving at the festival. You head straight for the fountain square, hoping that maybe you’ll get lucky and meet somebody nice this year, but you arrive to find it completely deserted. The various carts around the square are empty, and the garlands that adorn almost every surface re beginning to wither and dry out in the heat. You gaze around at the abandoned square, and your heart sinks as you realize: Spring is over, and everyone is going home. You’ve missed your chance. Your hopes crushed, you turn to leave when suddenly, you hear the sound of rustling fabric coming from behind you. You turn back around and see that, where a moment ago there was empty space, there is now a dragon sitting on the edge of the fountain watching you. She looks otherworldly sitting there, her golden feathers catching the sun and scattering little pinpricks of light across the ground. Golden silks adorn her legs and wings and a pair of white antlers grow from her head, further enhancing her ethereal appearance. The moment your eyes meet, she gets up, stretching her claws out like a cat. As she hops down from the fountain and walks towards you, you feel your heart begin to pound in your chest, but you have no idea why. She stops right in front and rears on her back legs, placing a paw on your chest to steady herself, and stares deep into your eyes. It’s almost as if she’s searching for something and you stay stock still, awaiting her next move. The two of you stand there, motionless, for what feels like hours but in actuality is probably less than a minute. Unable to hold it in any longer, you let out a breath and, like a spell has been broken, the dragon darts away from you. She stops on the edge of the square, right where it leads off into forest, and turns to look back at you. Looking at her, you can tell that something’s changed from a minute ago. She stands taller, stronger, and her eyes almost seem to glow. After a moment of just standing there, her tail twitches, as if beckoning you. You realize that she must be waiting for you, and you take a step forward. The moment you do, her eyes narrow and a slight, mischievous smile comes over her face, before she takes off again, bolting down the forest path. You feel your feet start moving of their own accord you find yourself giving chase. As you run deeper into the trees, you hear laughter all around you and are surprised to realize, it’s[i] yours[/i]. Alright, so, while this thread is still under construction, our pinglist is open!

Currently there are only two pinglists. One for opening day, and one for every day. (I will be adding pinglists for the different days individually, so if you are interested in getting pinged for a day's prize, that is also an option)
