Of course! I am going to be doing this for a very long time (possibly the entire time I play fr.)
And yes, you can send around 16 different items via messaging [emoji=comment size=1]
Or around 36 different items via Crossroads [emoji=trade size=1]
If you have more than 99 of a item then another slot will be taken.
Once you are in either one, by clicking the boxes you will be shown your hoard in which you can choose what you wish to send.

Both ways you can. Messaging sends it directly without any need for acception but it has less slots, while the crossroads I have to accept the trade, and it has more slots

Of the millions of birds in the vault, yes. Otherwise I aint quite sure what ya meant.
