Rules of my challenge will be in the next post, and they've been written up by myself. This locke will NOT be lore heavy and I don't aim to level dragons to 25 and risk exalting them. [i]All the Light Touches belongs to the Lightweaver.[/i] Her life giving rays bring hope and bounty to dragons all across the land. But there is one region where her light struggles to survive, to spark the potential for growth. On the outskirts of the Hewn City, the ruins of a long since past clan crumble and sink into darkness. It breaks the Lightweaver's heart to see such a thing happen to her land. A once thriving community now infested with ghosts and taken over by beastclans. This must be fixed. And so she has placed her blessing upon a select few and sent them on the path towards remedying this problem. A new clan will be forged, bringing peace and Light to a world in danger of falling into darkness. Unnamed dragons will be given a name via randomizer unless I have something specific in mind. [b][u]RNG[/u][/b] Roll one of these numbers (1-200) every day. Follow instructions for that number. [b]1-50 =[/b] Death Number. Whatever number I roll (1-50) I roll that many times to avoid my death number (any number from 1-10, rolling a random number from 1-100). If I hit a death number, roll to see which dragon it lands on. Flip a survival coin. Once a dragon has been hit with a death number OR the initial number of rolls is completed, the challenge is over. [list][*]Halo apparel is blessing from the gods - autosave [*]If a dragon hits a death number and survives they are injured and wear bloody bandage apparel for 3 days. If they hit a death number again in that time, they die. [*]Only adults qualify for a death number, hatchlings are exempt.[/list] [b]51-75 =[/b] New Dragon (AH) [list][*]1-12 Random breed (no bogs or snappers cause I don’t like them - keep even gender ratio in lair). All unique coli drops (apparel, familiars, chests, eggs…) are added to locke funds. Trinkets and food will not be kept track of (too complicated). Any fest items gotten during locke grinding time belong to the locke. Dragons fainting means nothing, as coli isn't the focus of my locke. [b]151-175 =[/b] Art/lore day! Either order it or draw it/write myself. [b]176-200 =[/b] Breed any eligible dragons OR buy hatchling from AH and flip survival coin. [list][*]Flip survival coin for all hatchlings from a nest. Special eyes survive automatically. [*]Dragons on a nest cannot die.[/list] [b][u]Pinkerton[/u][/b] Only a few special Pinkerton drops will mean anything in my locke. Food and Trinkets/Materials mean nothing. [b]Familiar = [/b]New dragon (AH) [b]Apparel =[/b] Breed any eligible dragon OR buy hatchling from AH and flip a survival coin. Any alive new dragons get this piece of apparel once they grow up. Any special eye hatchlings automatically survive. Dragons on a nest cannot die. [b]Battlestone =[/b] Death Streak. Roll a d6 for all dragons in locke, a 1 means death. Halo protection applies. Stop if someone fails the survival check. Hatchlings are exempt. [b][u]Misc.[/u][/b] No rules about what familiars they have (I’m coming in with many awakened), but all familiar chest contents for locke dragons go to locke hoard. [b][u]End Goal[/u][/b] The End Goal is to fully expand my hibernal den! I will be coming into this with 100 item slots unlocked and no gem slots unlocked. The Locke dragons can either grind for items or use funds to purchase them, or they can use funds to purchase gem slots.

Too young to be a real leader, but a devout follower of the gods, Eren struggled with his decision before agreeing to follow the Lightweaver's request. He told no one of his departure save his two best friends and bodyguards, Josilyn and Maddex, who agreed to come with him. Eren still experiences dreams in which the Lightweaver talks to him and offers him guidance. A serious little fae, Josilyn is a strategist and thinker. She does not act rashly. To her, traveling secretly to Light was a matter of course. Eren was her best friend, and it was her duty to protect him at all costs. There will be many dangers, and she must take them all down so he can survive. He sees running away to Light as an excellent adventure, even if he doesn't quite believe that the Lightweaver spoke to Eren personally. He might not be the best bodyguard in the world, but Josilyn makes up for that. Instead, Maddex has the friendship part covered. Things in Light are tough and they can be discouraging to the small party. But Maddex's optimism is often what keeps them going, pushing ever onward in their quest.[/columns] [columns][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=50109589] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/501096/50109589_350.png[/img] [/url][nextcol][b][u]Sekiro[/u][/b] Male Wind Spiral Timid and innocent, Sekiro is not a typical choice to help lead a brand new clan to survival. He doesn't really want to hurt anyone, and his compassion for all living creatures can cause him to hesitate in a fight. But having witness Josilyn's death at the hands of the beastclans, there started a quiet kind of anger in him. She often keeps to herself, not talking much. Her connection to the shadows allows her to see the ghosts which haunt the area around their clan much more clearly. By now she has come to live with it, but it still scares her. She would like to help them find peace but is afraid of admitting to her clan that she can see them at all, in case they turn on her. The clan is all she has in the world. Bex has even grown into a matronly figure, having helped to raise several hatchlings to adulthood. She is very clearly the second in command next to Eren. She and Eren share the same desire to see the clan thrive and peace restored to the land. She loves to figure out the way the world works and will keep after something until she understands it. She's become a sort of inventor in the clan, putting together all sorts of tools to help make their lives easier. Vitra is the leader of scavenger parties, exploring the ancient ruins for anything they could use to help their clan. He has a big imagination and is a very devout worshiper of the Lightweaver. He's heard her voice calling to him and followed it all the way to the new clan, the first dragon from Light to join. He knows how good the land is when it's flourishing and wants to do his best to help. Eren sees something special in him, and Jude, despite his daydreamer tendencies, is being trained for future leadership.[/columns] [columns][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=50384719] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/503848/50384719_350.png[/img] [/url][nextcol][b][u]Wynn[/u][/b] Female Light Pearlcatcher Jude wasn't the only Light dragon to hear the call of the Lightweaver. Wynn was called at the same time. A bit of a rebel, Wynn has never liked following the rules. But even she couldn't deny the power of the Lightweaver and wouldn't dare go against her. She's a bit disgruntled about it, having to pick up and leave her own thing to go follow a higher calling, but she knows it's important. Wynn is more of a begrudging helper, but who knows, when it comes down to it, she may not be so passionless after all.[/columns] [columns][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=50442018] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/504421/50442018_350.png[/img] [/url][nextcol][b][u]Pitch[/u][/b] Male Arcane Nocturne Pitch knows he's a pretty boy. A little vain, but very confident and charismatic, Pitch aims to be the center of every crowd. He loves attention and gets a little huffy when someone steals his spotlight. He could honestly stand to be knocked down a few pegs. He has a bad habit of trying to tell people what to do instead of just staying in his lane and letting Eren lead. He sees it as trying to help, but it's honestly just annoying. His looks are his real saving grace.[/columns] [columns][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=50515108] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/505152/50515108_350.png[/img] [/url][nextcol][b][u]Dewdrop[/u][/b] Female Plague Skydancer It has now been some time since Eren had gone missing from his original clan, where he was a prince. Dewdrop, among other dragons, has been sent out in search of him. She was sent to the territory of Light in her search, and there she heard rumors of a small clan deep in the Hewn City, where no others dared to travel. And so Dewdrop headed out bravely towards this clan, not knowing if she would find it or be killed by the many dangers lurking in the shadows. Once she arrived there she was welcomed into the clan. She still tries to convince Eren to return with her, but she's slowly starting to believe in the mission herself.[/columns] [columns][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=50589480] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/505895/50589480_350.png[/img] [/url][nextcol][b][u]Faux[/u][/b] Male Light Imperial Several young dragons have been called here lately, from all walks of life, but Faux was the first imperial the clan had yet seen. Faux was bigger than them all, imposing and tough, yet he had such a desire to help in him. His spirit is one of generosity and benevolence, quiet but infallible. Faux is someone they can all rely on, and many burdens end up falling to him when other dragons such as Wynn and Pitch fall through.[/columns] [columns][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=50606351] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/506064/50606351_350.png[/img] [/url][nextcol][b][u]Ryuu[/u][/b] Male Light Mirror The real son of Eren and Bex, Ryuu is the first dragon born into this new clan. Although still young, he tries very hard to prove himself to his parents so he can follow in their footsteps. Blessed by the Lightweaver from birth, Ryuu's eyes look different from other dragons. He can see into the astral plane, here ghosts and auras live. Ryuu tries so hard to be a good fighter like his parents, but what he doesn't realize is his true talents may lay elsewhere.[/columns] [columns][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=50612357] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/506124/50612357_350.png[/img] [/url][nextcol][b][u]Maybelle[/u][/b] Female Shadow Fae A pretty little shadow fae, Maybelle is a lot more fierce than she looks. Who says a girl can't look good and kick butt at the same time? Certainly not her! She and Ryuu have become fast friends, having been born on the same day. Even though Ryuu's real twin died, he treats Maybelle like his real sister instead, and she feels the same way about him. Even though Maybelle often beats him in fight training, she tries to do it gently. Maybelle gives really good advice and is always trying to tell Ryuu that being a good fighter isn't everything. She's got a little bit of an edge to her, not really the most vivacious member of the clan. She has a deep connection to nature, and will fight anyone who disrespects it. Don't litter in her presence if you don't want to get beat up. She takes protecting the environment very seriously, it's all peace and love until someone swats at a bee.[/columns] [columns][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=50764081] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/507641/50764081_350.png[/img] [/url][nextcol][b][u]Luna[/u][/b] Female Water Coatl Luna is a sweet little coatl, often seeming distracted. Unlike the others who are scared of the ghosts near their clan, Luna just wants to help them. She's not sure if they can understand her, but sometimes she'll go out and just talk to them, so they don't feel lonely. It may be a coincidence, but the ghosts' activity seems a lot calmer after Luna has talked with them. Kinath is the most fashionable member of the clan, and has been put in charge of their apparel. He's a young but talented tailor, and he prides himself in creating the latest fashions for his friends to wear. You cannot fight the darkness in poor clothing, the hero statues in the future will be hideous.[/columns] [columns][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=51090822] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/510909/51090822_350.png[/img] [/url][nextcol][b][u]Mist[/u][/b] Male Light Pearlcatcher After his mother Wynn died during his hatching, Mist has grown up very resentful of the conditions his clan is in. Although he was raised in love by his dads, Sekiro and Jude, Mist harbors a deep desire for vengeance. He began training to fight the beastclans and the darkness ever since he was big enough to fly. He's filled with determination and focus, but his dads are worried that these good qualities of his are not being put to proper use. He'll burn himself out at this rate. Melody is a little shy about performing in front of people, but everyone in the clan knows that she has the best voice. She uses her voice in combination with her talents as a nocturne to imitate bird calls - a useful asset to the hunting parties. She wears a little locket with a picture of the clan in it, to look at and remind her how they're all a family.[/columns]

I've titled it a PinkerTimeLocke, because i've mashed several different types together into one that fits my playstyle. So it's not traditional for any of them! Rules can be found up above and I'll be doing my best to stick to them. A loose setting for the story and bios for the members of the clan can also be found up above, but be warned, this locke will NOT be lore heavy, as I have little desire to write a lot. I will also mainly be grinding in the coli, NOT leveling dragons to 25. I don't want to have to get elims and then risk them on dragons I might have to exalt at any moment. So updates to this thread will likely be short and sweet, just a record of each day's events with a little lore and art sprinkled in on the side. I'll officially get going on this when all three of my starter dragons are adults. Here they are, I'm super excited to work on them and see how they turn out! We have two boys and a girl so far, and so next dragon we buy will need to be a girl to keep it even. I drew two 2s and a 10 to start, so we have two Fae and a Spiral. (yay!) Buuuuutttt it may also be the last (oops). 43 times trying to avoid a death number... Josilyn is blessed by the Lightweaver today and is wearing the halo apparel, so she auto saves if a death number lands on her. Of course I hit a death number, and it landed on Maddex! Aaaannnddd....he didn't succeed his save. Well. Here's to you, good buddy. [center][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=49933020][img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/avatars/499331/49933020.png[/img][/url][/center] [rule] Eren and Josilyn both stand over the small mound of dirt piled over the body of their friend, formerly so full of life. The two of them are shocked, unable to believe such a vibrant life had been snuffed out so quickly. Maddex had been out gathering food, but he just never came back. When Josilyn went after him, it was there she found the lifeless spiral, a few berries spilled from his grasp. Little had he known they were poison, touched by the darkness surrounding the area. It seemed like only yesterday they had run away from the Viridian Labyrinth together, bound for adventure and destiny. It was now hitting them all that this was truly a dangerous place. Surviving here was not a game. Their lives were truly at stake. Eren turns to Josilyn and watches as a single tear rolls down her cheek. He had never seen his strongest friend cry before. Josilyn kneels down and prays silently over Maddex's grave. Her hands begin to glow with a soft light and the area around his grave is revived, green grass and tiny yellow flowers sprouting. The Lightweaver has worked through her love to reclaim this small area of the land. [rule] In other news, I have the materials to expand my hibernal den 2 more times, so we are now at 102 slots! All the info for that is updated on the first page.

I'll be taking Eren and Josilyn into the training fields for the first time. Josilyn gets the halo again today, not that it effects anything. I gave them both Scratch and Shred, otherwise I can't imagine standing any kind of a chance. It was tough going as it is so I only did a few battles. I'd prefer to not have them get too far ahead in levels oF THE NEW DRAGON... [rule] [center][item=Chalcedony Snipper][/center] Yes! Pinkerton was also kind enough to give us a familiar today! This means a brand new dragon to thankfully replace Maddex. The number I rolled for breed was even a 10, so we get a new spiral! [center][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=50109589][img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/avatars/501096/50109589.png[/img][/url][/center] Meet Sekiro! He's a lovely little wind noodle. I'll give him a bio once he grows up! As Eren and Josilyn fight off the beastclans, trying to reclaim a small portion of land, they hear the muffled cries of a hatchling. A small spiral, bound in ropes, held captive. Eren quickly works to free the child while Josilyn defends them from the hoard of enemies. Unable to fight any further with a baby to take care of, all three retreat back to their small, well hidden lair in the ruins. In light of Maddex's recent death, a new baby spiral is surely a sign from the Lightweaver that all hope is not lost and they can still grow a clan. [rule] I also got enough Serpae Tetras from gathering today for another spot in my hibernal den! The hoard has been updated with everything from today.

I'll be writing a little lore down below about today's events. Eren gets the halo today for the first time! It doesn't affect anything today. [rule] [center][item=Violet Corsage][/center] Pinkerton gave us an apparel item today! That means I'm supposed to breed my dragons, but unfortunately no one is RTB. So to the AH we go! The number I rolled is a 5, so we get a new mirror girl. She succeeded her survival roll, and so we even get to keep her! The violet corsage will go to her when she grows up. Curious despite his fear, Sekiro gets to his feet and tiptoes out to the edge of the firelight, peering into the darkness. He yips and jumps back when the darkness moves, revealing a perfectly camouflaged baby mirror. She looked cold and hungry, lost. She had been drawn to the fire, the only source of light around.
