" OFF OFF" the last spear-tip whizzed through the air and plunged into something shrieking through the dark. THAT WAS BRUTAL. Fortunately, Draupnir had no one to recall such a violent encounter to. Clawed hands wrung blood out of her new coat.
The Wildclaw was completely alone.

Patting a door- one now being consumed, restrained by pitch-black tendrils which barred petulant claws that scored against it; Draupnir eyed the chamber. A lever ? Perfect ! No more locked doors!
click, click, click; raptor claws strutted across the long hallway, a victory skip here and there. Crossing scot-free, a sinister shape loomed over the lever; notice a die- and o h ohhhhhhhhhhhhh there goes the lever. Draupnir leaned over herself, using the lever's platform as a catch-yourself-elbow-rest as h i d d e n d o o r s groaned to life, swinging open slowly with each stone-breath. Draupnir no longer liked doors.
Lavender eyes widened as violet ones peered down, leaking an insidious substance from their ducts.
"M-m-mot- I MEAN. Lady Shadowbinder~" Draupnir preformed an out of practice bow, noticing the cage's bars past the storm of shadows for the first time. Doors had conspired to abduct her deity. Lavender eyes blinked- the single, titanic claw having been hanging in the air since the part of the doors. Draupnir followed it to the red button.

This was it ! This was it ! A thousand thoughts entwined upon each other, nearly as tangled as the woods themselves. She would release the Shadowbinder, pass her test and earn her question. Earn her return home.More ideas were twisting through- infiltrating and climbing to the top. In what world would her mother be tricked like so- betrayed like so. Her eyes were beady little chips of obsidian, cooled by the hate that came with the memory of her deposition. Of the messenger and how they now seemed traitorous; a coup ? The obscured crescent should be razed of its traitors. she should raze it... After The Shadowbinder was rescued, of course! At the push of one, big red button; interloping thoughts jettisoned away.
Her mother is free and so is the devil creature that drops at her feet, along with its extended family. Her claws work to find something, quickly- no wait. Her polished idol is held in shaking hands " n-no.." Yes. It had to be done.

" DEAR MOTHER I AM SO SORRY FOR THIS ACT OF SACRILEGE " Draupnir shouted through the tears, her personal onyx idol being thrown as sacrifice

She motions towards a big red button, as if requesting he push it, so he does. Suddenly, little skittering things are coming at him from all directions! In his blind panic, Calypso stumbles into both Gecko and the Shadowbinder, before calming down enough to spot an idol of Her and hide behind it.

Yuuri scrambles back from the creature, edging along one of the farther walls as it turns and begins to amble towards him. Sweat beads along Yuuri's face, and his gaze flies around the room for something, anything to protect himself with. He could try running by through the open door, but he has the feeling that this thing would be on his tail from here on out. No, he had to incapacitate it. Somehow. Yuuri's hands fly across his pouches, desperation mounting as he simultaneously sprints around the creature, who had suddenly decided to break out into a charge. He quickly eyes the imposing silhouette, and wonders... Perhaps it's helmet could be its weak point? It wasn't as heavily armored, so he may be able to rip it off. At this point, it was pretty much the only thing he could try. Yuuri yanks out two fistfuls of Shimmering Pinecones - not dwelling on why he even has any - and tosses them in the creature's path, praying to whomever may be listening that it'll work out in his favour...

Username: @Saraceaser Day of the week: Thursday - Day 5 Choice: A; Distract and try to grab the helmet. Roleplay: Dusk was relieved when the cat did nothing more than stand up after a few pets; he really didn't want to be scratched on top of everything else that has happened, that would have been exactly what he needed in his day. Thankfully, the key was the shiny thing that the cat had been laying on, and he gave the cat another pet before unlocking the door, half-wondering if he should bring the cat along, but decided it was probably fine considering it was there to begin with. When he saw that the next room had a random die sitting on the floor, he was immediately suspicious. It looked like one from a brand new dice set, and picking it up he realized it was eight-sided. He blinked when he realized there was a set of double-doors he was positive weren't there moment before. Frowning - this place was really starting to get to him - he opened the door with a grumble after stowing the die in his pouch, hoping this might be the way to an exit. Or at least, that had been the plan. When the very heavy door opened by itself, he refused to admit that he let out a yelp in surprise and fell forward before he could catch himself. And of course, there was a golem on the other side. Before he could react, the golem reached for him. Moving on instinct, he immediately dodged to the side, reaching into his pouch for something that could help. What he grabbed were some more of his Pinecones. Without a second thought, he threw them, hoping to distract the golem as he made for the helmet; he thinks that how they were supposed to work... right?!
