Yesterday, I finally broke down and bought two dragons with Silver Primary and good Secondary & Tertiary ranges, hoping to breed the ever-elusive Arabella.
Who's Arabella?
The lovely, dreamy li'l lady who's got her own song, as done by Arctic Monkeys! A fave of mine :)
Here's the original idea for her (before the new eyes & StarCon update):
Fae Female bc she's "that little lady"
Silver Iridescent for "She's got a Barbarella silver swimsuit"
Bee Phthalo for "...like the galaxy's edge... the colour of a constellation falling into place" (Abyss would've worked too imo)
Moon bc, well, "she's made of outer space" and Underbelly was the only thing that looked good at the time
and Arcane eyes to keep with the space theme
Since then, new genes have emerged! new eyes, too! Now my current goal is the following:
Fae Female
Silver Iridescent
Abyss Constellation (LITERAL CONSTELLATION INTERPRETATION, HECK YES)
Moon Capsule*
Primal Eyes**
*I just really like Capsule and happily take anything other than Moon if I think it looks good enough to me - like, say, Dust or Twilight or Fog. Especially Fog :)
**the likelihood of getting Primal is suuuper slim; heck, I'll take Faceted, or anything other than Common or Multi!
ONTO THE FIRST BREEDING PAIR
Silver/Wisteria/Sky
Silver/Sky/Moon
Would it have made sense to find Fae? Yeah.
Am I prepared to get a Fae breed scroll? Yeah.
Would it have made sense to get dragons with at least one of the genes I'm looking for? Yeah.
Am I prepared to shell out for Iridescent and Constellation? ...yeah.
Gotta wait a few weeks before I can breed 'em yet. Perhaps I'll happen across other compatible dragons? Who knows.
