Hello again, I have yet another project I'm working on!

I've been breeding for a very specific dragon to fit a character of mine - Jangums, my goblin druid from Pathfinder (a tabletop roleplaying game, like Dungeons and Dragons).

[This art is mine, and created specifically for this character, please do not use it elsewhere.]

Here she is as a dragon:
Jangums.png

Breeding for Jangums has turned into breeding lots of fodder goblins - and I love it. So much so that I have a new goal, beyond just producing my Jangums dragon -
Create an entire goblin army to fill a page of my lair with, with Jangums as the leader.

They'll all be fodder breeders (except Jangums, who I don't intend to breed) but because I'm basing my Jangums dragon on a Pathfinder goblin, specifically, I intend to make the rest of the army Pathfinder goblins as well.
So I'm basically creating a subspecies here just for fodder. Lots of time and money for a silly project, but the idea of flooding raffle attendants with a goblin army I've produced myself is just too appealing.

So what makes a Pathfinder goblin?
"Goblins are short, ugly humanoids that stand just over 3 feet tall. Their scrawny bodies are topped with over-sized and usually hairless heads with massive ears and beady red or occasionally yellow eyes. Goblins’ skin tone varies based on the surrounding environment; common skin tones include green, gray, and blue, though black and even pale white goblins have been sighted. Their voracious appetites are served well by their huge mouths filled with jagged teeth."
-From the d20PFSRD So goblins can come in a variety of colors, but I want to stick to the stereotypical green goblin skin tone. I want anyone who gets a goblin army marching on their clan to immediately recognize that they are goblins (and not just because every single one will be named "Goblin"). Eyes need to be red, though can occasionally be yellow, so all of my goblins will be Plague dragons, with the occasional Light dragon mixed in. I've chosen Nocturnes as my main breed for this, both because I feel they fit the description well (small, hairless, beady eyes, toothy) and because they're my favorite breed. I'm torn on whether I want to include other breeds for this. My main contenders are: Fae: Suit goblins in general well, though their eyes are far from beady and not as toothy as a Pathfinder goblin. Cheap and easy to breed change to, which is a plus. Mirror: Really scream goblin to me, but the bonus eyes throw me. They suit mirrors well, but Pathfinder goblins only have one set of eyes. Ridgeback: Nice and gobliny looking, but very big. Dungeons and Dragons goblins have the big nose to match Ridgebacks, but Pathfinder goblins have short, puggish noses. Bogsneak: More of a bugbear than a goblin probably, but not a bad alternate version? Big "ears", lots of teeth, beady eyes, just too bulky to be a basic Pathfinder goblin. --------- So with all this in mind, my current criteria for a Pathfinder goblin dragon are: BREED: Just Nocturnes for now EYES: Mostly Plague, sometimes Light PRIMARY: Genes: Metallic, Basic, Iridescent, Ripple (Maybe also Speckle, Tapir) Colors: Jungle - Fern, Pear - Leaf, Chartreuse - Olive SECONDARY: Genes: Noxtide, Alloy, Current, Shimmer, Striation, Stripes, Basic (Maybe also Bee, Safari, Freckle) Colors: Camo, Swamp, Avocado, Green, Fern, Moss TERTIARY: Genes: Stained (Considering adding Crackle, Smirch, and Firefly with different colors) Colors: Chartreuse, Spring, Crocodile, Olive, Pear, Avocado, Green, Camo, Peridot Primary ................................Secondary............................. Tertiary ------------ And for fun, like a normal subspecies, some preferred items of goblins: FAMILIARS: Include, but are not limited to: [item=Rat King] [item=Ghostly Rat Lord] [item=Fanrat] [item=Silky Fanrat] [item=Five-toed Pilco] [item=Venomtooth Pilco] [item=Wasteland Collector] [item=Dire Hyena] [item=Spectral Duskflapper] [item=Armored Duskflapper] [item=Featherback Boar] [item=Undying Featherback] [item=Gladeveins Needletooth] [item=Ragamouse] [item=Citrine Cave Jewel] [item=Emerald Cave Jewel] [item=River Muck] [item=Radioactive Slime] [item=Corpse Cleaner] [item=Crowned Bonepriest] [item=Everglade Lasher] [item=Greater Sandstrike] [item=Sunset Lasher] [item=Noggle] [item=Cursed Bat] [item=Runic Bat] [item=Glowing Pocket Mouse] [item=Ember Mouse] Goblins are small and cowardly by nature, so they tend to steer clear of particularly large and threatening looking familiars. Rarely will a goblin be found in ornate clothing, though if they are able to get their hands on something shiny they will treasure it above all else. Want a goblin of your own? Most goblins aren't the smartest, so sometimes a few get a little lost and don't make it to the destination of the army. Want to take one of these little guys home? (Goblins will always be available here as I breed them, unless I'm breeding for a push. Dragons may be claimed any time up until I start leveling them.
