Welp, Wingsong and Verin's nest is ready to hatch, but I currently have one open space in my lair, so...looks like Nagra and Mint are getting exalted a bit early. c: Oops. Belanoir has two of the right colors, and Reann is almost as good. I'd like to keep them both, if I can, but that's not a guarantee. Might end up having to keep the one that ends up being more immediately useful. Inatoro is definitely getting yeeted off to the Lightweaver, though. Definitely thinking I'm going to have to expand my lair. My lack of self control has me with far too many breeding pairs for far too many projects at all times. I may end up exalting Wingsong and Verin after this. Considering they can't give me Obsidian secondary offspring, this may be the absolute most they can do for me.

Wingsong and Verin have been exalted. I just don't have the space for them anymore, not with all the hatchlings I've been keeping. Keeping them around any longer has few benefits anyway, which are pretty much outweighed by the genetic bottleneck situation I'm approaching. Now that I have three spaces (and no more, rip), it's time to hatch Syka and Mantis' nest. Really hope this is a good one too. Sedai is the only one I would consider keeping, and I'm not convinced I will. Seems like all the hatchlings with decent colors have been female...I don't have males with the right colors to pair them with.

So last time I said something about Sedai being the only one I would consider keeping from the previous nest. Well, statement retracted. I have too many females sitting around waiting for mates, so even if her colors are the best out of those three, she's not useful. Instead, Amarok has gotten lucky and been placed in a pair with Siadina. Theirs isn't the best range, especially at this point in the project, but I'll be grateful for the expanded gene pool further down the road. On another note, Aurru and Marion are RTB once more. Hopefully this will be a good one.

Well, this was probably a silly thing to do, but I did it anyway. Alheran is Shamrock/Orchid/Saffron, which means he has the exact right colors for Primary and Tertiary, and his Secondary is pretty dang far off. For now, he'll be Belanoir's mate, simply because I'm getting restless looking for a [i]good[/i] mate for her. I'd like her to be of use in the meantime. Of course, he'll be replaced the second I find a better male for her, assuming it happens. I feel kind of bad buying a G1 for this, given I intend to exalt everyone when I'm done with them. But...he's [i]Shamrock/Orchid/Saffron[/i]. Nobody wants that. That's a horrible color combo. And he was really cheap for a G1, probably for that exact reason. I'm pretty sure this poor dude's getting exalted either way.

Stalking the AH really pays off sometimes - this is a huge score. I haven't decided yet whether or not I'm going to pair him with a female I already have (ie. someone from Nym/Fissure's bloodline), or wait to get a him a mate less related to the others. I've got 25 days until he's RTB, though, so I'm not in a hurry to figure it out.

I have my answer now, and her name is Aiterra! She'll work well with Tenjin, and having them together gives more potential for mixing bloodlines later on. Syka and Mantis are being retired at this point. Partially because of lair space, partially because of their horrendous range, and partially because I think I can relax a little about the gene pool now.

Time to hatch Aurru and Marion's second nest! It's the middle of the night and I really shouldn't be online, but whatever. Themis is very similar to Teorah - one color closer, for Primary, so I'll probably replace Teorah with Themis as Mabon's mate. Not until after Mabon and Teorah breed once, though. With Themis' breeding cooldown, switching him in now would be counterproductive - it'd just result in an unnecessary wait. Don't know if the other hatchlings are useful - I'll figure it out when i'm less tired.

Now for Leoster and Sorcor. [img]http://flightrising.com/images/nests/8/3healthy_0dead.png[/img] Back to three eggs, and no complaints from me. Perfectly happy with this.

Nesting Siadina and Amarok for the first time. Siadina has been given a Mirror breedchange scroll and they're ready to go. I've two nests ready to hatch, but only enough room for one at the moment. Making space won't be much of an issue, but for now I'm only hatching Teorah and Mabon's. Teorah is now being retired and replaced with his brother Themis. Barely an improvement, but I'm doing it anyway because there's no reason not to. I want to make a revenge plot joke, but I'm not that clever.
