[center][size=5]Starting my breeding challenge![/size] (with some additional rules)[/center] Just in case, here are the general rules of such challenges, afaik: You take the ugliest dragon you can find and start breeding them with the intention to come to an offspring that looks good enough to become a perma derg. From every egg clutch 1 dragon is chosen to be the next "heir" of the project. So, here are my additional rules: [LIST] [*]The founder and all of the mates are to be bought on the day when a free nest is available. [*]They have to be plentiful or common, ready to breed, 10k or cheaper. [*]I also can't buy mates with genes more common than the heir's. [*]I can't use forsee progeny tools (everyone else is free to do it and laugh at me tho). [*]I'm not allowed to pick which hatchling will be the heir. It [b]has[/b] to be the firstborn. [*]The parents and siblings of every heir will be sold. [/LIST] My founder derg is Edgar. Alright! The founder has been chosen! [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=44298631] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/442987/44298631_350.png[/img] [/url] I'm kind of unsatisfied with the level of uglyness here :P I like Tundras and the Bee gene, and the colour combo isn't [b]that [/b]bad - but that was the best/worst I could find. I chose Edgar here mainly b/c I can't stand Capsule, and his genes are so far apart on the colour wheel that coordinating his progeny's look is going to be a challenge. I'm going to take a break before I choose a mate, and to add some difficulty to the challenge (since Edgar is actually not that bad) I'm going to impose a rule that rarity of the genes has to either stay the same or go up.

Their nest's got 3 eggs, set to hatch in 5 days. [img]http://flightrising.com/images/nests/3/3healthy_0dead.png[/img] I've decided to try and center the colours somewhere green - and also breed out the Capsule ASAP. I didn't preview the offspring, so they might turn out disastrous. Oh well, that's a problem for future me! xD
