In this game, you will try to solve a mystery that unfolds over the course of the week. If you would like to be pinged for story updates, but would not like to participate, please let me know! [*]You get two questions per day, that you may ask to any of the available characters. The questions will be answered in-character, meaning that if a character has something to hide, they may just lie to you. Your questions will be answered privately via PM. You may choose to share or not share your response at your own discretion. [*]Every day there will be a puzzle for you to solve- those who solve it correctly will be entered into a randomized drawing at the end of the day, to win the Daily Prize. Either PM your solutions to me or post them to the thread. You will receive 10 points for correctly solving the Daily Puzzle. [*]Every day there will be a participation raffle for anyone who attempts to solve the puzzle, regardless of whether or not they do so correctly. This will be drawn at the same time as the Daily Prize raffle. The winner will receive a Gilded Chest. You cannot win both the Daily Prize and the Participation Prize at the same time. You will receive 5 points for participation. [*]There will also be a daily bonus puzzle- these will be more difficult puzzles that can be solved at any time during the week, and may offer extra clues to the mystery. [*]There is no limit to the number of Daily or Participation Prizes you are eligible to receive. [*]At any time, you may try to solve the overall mystery. The sooner you guess the culprit correctly, the more points you earn for it. You may change your guess at any time. You will not lose points for guessing incorrectly, UNLESS you had guessed correctly previously. These points can only be allotted once over the course of the game. The smart ones go in groups- after all, the ones who go on their own usually become just another uncomfortable statistic warning against such foolishness. One such group has pitched a camp on the very edge of the Shrieking Wild. Not quite a team, they’ve come here to seek those most elusive beasts- be it for medicine, money, or mere scientific curiosity. The body had been dead for about six hours when Picky found it, it had already started to enter rigor mortis. There were three main wounds, one blunt strike to the head, possibly caused by the fall, possibly he was struck with something.. His hands had recent acid burns, though they were wrapped and treated, so likely did not contribute to his death. Lastly, there were two puncture wounds in his ankle.
