1. Introduce Yourself
I'm Eialyne and this is my third time round doing the GG scavenger hunt! (Sort of? If I recall last year I had some time constraints and only got in a handful of challenges but it's the thought that counts? ^^;; ) Really looking forward to the Cryptid theme of the GG this year, and if I had to choose a favorite, I might have to go with the jackalope (though I think people tend to be torn on whether to put it as a "cryptid" or a "myth"). I blame my Texan upbringing.

I really love this idea. I will probably start on this soon. I just wish the deadline was a bit further out (I get that's not really an option since its for the nature fest though!). Two weeks doesn't seem that much time to get everything done, but I will see how far I can get. Thank you for organising this. :)

Hey there! My name is pittysoares and I have always been fond of supernatural beings :V I guess my favourite cryptids are wendigos and the monster of loch ness. I love nature even though I don't go out very much in my free time lD But my little balcony got tons of plants and I work as a florist so I have much nature-time at work :D I can't wait to get started with the scavenger hunt, I'm so excited :VV

Squirrels are super cute and here in Germany the red squirrel is a common fella you can find everywhere. When the people sailed to america and back to europe the eastern grey squirrel was brought to Germany. Here it is seen more often now and unfortunately it is suppressing the red squirrel.

26 - Write a Story
Bailey the Imp
One day a little girl walked home from school. She didn't have a good day so she tried to kick her anger away with an old can she found on the street. The girl kicked the rusty can many times, she could even walk a few streets while kicking it.
Suddenly the sky turned dark - she lost her way. The girl now stood in an old deadlock behind a few shops and restaurants. Piles of garbage stacked in the old street. With one last, furious kick she striked the can in a giant pile of garbage.
Just when she wanted to turn around and go her way again, she heard a rustling in the pile of trash. With a screech a black shadow jumped out of the garbage and away.
The girl later said that it looked like a black, plump piece of rubber with two wings...
27 - Describe your Walk
Today I went to the tiny lake we got in our neighborhood. I hoped to find some ducks there for the bird-photo but unfortunately there weren't any around. Instead of ducks I found some local birds but photographing them was quite the challenge. I really needed to stay quiet and still, if I moved too quick they would fly away again. After a few minutes of just sitting and waiting I could manage to take a (not really perfect) photo of a bird.
Unfortunately my phone-camera isn't the best so zooming in wasn't an option xD

It always makes me want to roll around in it like a happy dog (ticks though...). In the winter, it's used for ice skating. Currently it's full of frogs though. The noise when you walk past it is impressive! @Charliex8 - Thank you! I was going to write about the Kraken since I have a dragon named Kraken and you reminded me that its a cryptid, plus my clan lives in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. But then I was thinking about what cryptid I could make for the last part of the challenge and decided I could make a tree creature and then I knew I wanted to tie my story to the cryptid I made. =D
