You land on a large crowded platform, and start to wander around before a large banner in the sky caught your attention. Intrigued, you head towards the banner. Underneath it, a large group of dragons had formed a circle around a lively Coatl, who was holding a shallow basket of fruity colored spheres in the air. Come one, come all, and test your skills in the Cloudsong Color Rush!” The Coatl calls out, raising the basket higher in the air. You had just reached the edge of the crowd, when suddenly, one of the spheres rolls over the side of the impractical basket and falls onto the ground right next to you. It explodes in a flurry of color, splattering the ground and the nearest dragons with bright pigments. The crowd screams and laughs, as you stare in surprise at your now colored claws. “And that, folks, was an obviously purposeful demonstration of the color fruits,” The Coatl says sheepishly before walking over in your direction—cautiously, as to avoid another accident—to apologize to his victims. “Sorry about that,” He smiles, “But since you’re all covered with the colors already, why not join the race? There’s nothing to lose!” With that, he turns and takes off into the air, repeating his announcement for the race.[/size] [center][img]https://i.imgur.com/GiEiccJ.png[/img][/center] Welcome to the Mistral Jamboree's Choose Your Own Adventure, which runs from March 25th to March 31st! It's a fun fruity/jam themed race/obstacle course that's a mix of an egg-and-spoon race, La Tomatina, and the Color Run that's set on the Cloudsong! Everyday a new prompt will appear, and whichever choice you choose will determine your outcome the next day. Help your dragon reach the finish line, and hopefully win some prizes at the end! Starting on the 25th, the day's scene will be up at 18:00 FR time. Participants will have until 17:00 FR time the next day to submit a Google Form with their choice to have their submission counted and recorded. Once the Google Form has been submitted, participants will automatically be on the pinglist for the next day. 2. Every submission is worth one ticket into the raffle at the end, but only if the submission for a certain day is made during that day. This means that if you miss one day and make it up the next, you will not receive a ticket for that missed day. 3. If you miss a day or start late, please contact me via this thread or PMs and I'll be sure to respond ASAP and help you catch up. 4. Many choices will affect your dragon participating in the race. Their stats are Speed, Balance, and Friendship. [indent][i]Speed-[/i] Your dragon will start off with 10 speed. These can be lost or gained with different choices. [i]Balance-[/i] Your dragon will start off with 10 color fruits. These can be lost or gained with different choices. [i]Friendship-[/i] Your dragon will start off with 0 friendship points. These can only be gained.[/indent] During the race, your dragon may be a little on the low side when it comes to points. Flash giveaways will appear randomly throughout the day, and the first person to ping me and answer the question correctly will earn an item and bonus points. Keep a eye on lookout! 5. Roleplaying is not required, but every roleplay reply will earn you one extra ticket for that day. Like regular tickets, roleplaying tickets will only be counted if it is written the day of the prompt. It will also automatically enter you into the "Best Roleplayer" contest, details below. Roleplaying is not necessary. If you have not completed every day, you are still eligible for the raffle. [i]Best Roleplayer[/i] [indent]This prize is given to the player that the judges deem noteworthy in their writing skills. They will be scored by a number of criteria, such as but not limited to proper use of grammar, characterization, and engagement. Chances of winning will be heightened if each day has a roleplay response. [/indent] [i]Speed[/i] [indent]This prize is given to the player with the most Speed points earned at the end. They're the type of people to always be first in line for anything.[/indent] [i]Balance[/i] [indent]This prize is given to the player with the most Balance points earned at the end. Slow and steady is their motto, and they probably have yoga classes daily.[/indent] [i]Friendship[/i] [indent]This prize is given to the player with the most Friendship points earned at the end. Who needs first place when you've got friends? Not this person.[/indent] [i]Raffle[/i] [indent]Raffle prizes will be available to all participants, except for the winners of any of the above categories. Winners will be randomly chosen through a random generator. It will operate like other raffles, the first person will choose one prize, the second person will choose two prizes with their most preferred first, so on and so forth.[/indent] If two or more people tie point-wise, then the winner will be chosen via a random generator. If somehow one person is the top scoring player in two or more categories, the category they win will be determined by a random generator. Unless that person has one category tied and the other isn't, then they will win the category where they are not tied, and the tied category will go to the other player.
